Lee's smile didn't fade, and she just sat back, thinking about how awesome this was. "Please dun be insulted or anything, but... I never actually read any of your books." She laughed uncomfortably, embarrassed to admit she wasn't much of a reader. "But I've heard of you. From lots of people. Why didn't you tell me before?" Her smile dropped a bit, not quite hurt, but not happy about that fact, either.

Lee shook her head. "It's a lot more impressive than most people's." She leaned forward in her seat, smiling thoughtfully. "I bet I'd read your books if you ever wrote love stories." She was becoming more and more a teenage girl every day. Pathetic, really.

Ellandra shrugged. "Honestly, Lee, I only mentioned it to give you an idea that I actualyl can afford to go shopping wherever you'd want to, I really don't care all that much about fame or money. . . and I don't think I could write a love story, I'm just not good at them."

"Aw..." Lee didn't realize how rude she was being, or how uncomfortable it made Ellandra, but she did calm down, looking over at the babies in the crib. Perhaps this was why she'd heard people say Arai Vandenmar had stopped writing. Looking back at Ellandra, Lee sighed but smiled. "I wish I could write. I'd write a bunch of love stories for you." She smiled, thinking Ellandra's and Faolan's story would be cute on paper.

Oh, right, the shopping trip. "Uh-huh. They're not, like, risque or anything, so you dun have to worry." Not that Lee really seemed the type to shop at stores like that anyway. "I'm gonna keep it a surprise until we get there, though." She grinned at the woman, sure that they would have fun when they went.

Ellandra smiled at Lee. "We'll have to find some really nice things though - you'd like to make Rory's jaw drop when he sees you, wouldn't you? More than happens already anyway?"

Smirking, Lee nodded to the last part. She already made his jaw drop, somehow, and she was proud of that fact. "We do, yeah. And you have to do the same for Faolan." She bit her lip, a slightly mischievous smile on her face. "I think he might like you in a short skirt." Sure, she was a mother now, but she didn't have to wear it outside of the house if she didn't want to.

Ellandra squeaked. "How short do you mean, Lee?" She was more than a little wary of wearing short skirts - any length of "short", actually.

Looking down to her lap, she shrugged. "Like mine, I guess." She tugged at the upper mid thigh length skirt, knowing it was likely too short for Ellandra to walk around in comfortably. "It can be a little longer, but... no more than here, I'd say." She gestured to mid thigh, wondering if the woman would agree to that.

Ellandra squeaked again, her face taking on the rosy hue of a highly-embarrassed blush. "Umm.... er......... I don't think I've ever worn anything that short in my entire life."

Giving the woman a grin, Lee sat back, shrugging as she said, "Well, then you're overdue." She couldn't say Faolan wouldn't love it...

Ellandra blinked, ducking her head into her hands and sighing (over)-dramatically. "This is what I get for asking for help, isn't it?" When she peeked through her fingers at Lee, though, she was smiling.

Giggling, Lee nodded. "You're excited, though, admit it. I get the feeling you didn't even dress like a teenager when you were a teenager." Giving her a semi apologetic look for the jab, the girl still managed to smile back at Ellandra, kicking her legs a bit as she sat. She was getting a little restless, having been sitting for so long.
