It's in the history of the storyline thread in the...the guild hq. It probably doesn't make more sense than what I blabbered

So tonight I'm changing the homepage.
DO NOT let ANYONE in unless they provide an rp snippit 1 paragraph long. I mean it. I'll be able ot tell if they shouldn't have been accepted.

Also: How many people have finished their projects and need new ones?

I can't really think of what else to list under classes rather than reorganizing them. If I get stuck with any more research I'm going to rage.

As an additional note, royalty get the perks of being royal... that would be a lot of money! Most would receive leadership training, and in times of war and the smart parent, would give them the best fighting classes available for whatever weapon the spoiled brat would want to try. They would also be armed with the best equipment available on the market, and maybe a few magical artifacts to boot. With this extraordinary training, royalty tends to be the better swordsmen in combat, and their armor would be superior to anything the commoners would have.

Now lets not forget their political weight they can push around. A request to a master to train royalty would be considered more like an order to train them, and only the best would do.

sweatdrop *Gestures to Two of Evangel's characters.*

Nah, but in all seriousness, keep in mind some of that has to do with how much or little their parents neglected, nurtured, or downright coddled their royal tykes. Realistically, anybody who wasn't noble or in military outfit couldn't carry a weapon in public anyway.

Also look at King Henry the 8th. He just got chunky. lol It isn't the best way to learn about it, but after all these medieval, baroque, and early renaissance art classes it seems like Medieval times were actually fairly anti-adventurer.

Now, Who can provide me with a suitable description of a Dancer class so I can put up the character class information?

@Phae: Don't worry, I won't torture you any more

@Nathien: I agree with you, unless someone's character was banished or neglected.

@Phae: I've only seen one of his characters and he's the laziest butt I've rp'd with lately.

>.> Dancer class...

Think gypsies and arabian dancers.
They'd probably make good fighters just because of how flexible and graceful they are when they dance (but not neccesarily).
Would have to rely on smaller weapons that could be hidden in their garments.
I dunno, I'm grasping at straws.

Final Fantasy Dancer class? Kinda like a bard but with motion? Invokes weak but large area boosts to allies and can curse (in the same manner) foes by the same way. I would also agree with finesse fighters for their physical aspect, but only with light weapons (example: daggers, short swords, kamas, light mace, hand axe and the like.) Nothing larger than a short sword for it would weigh to much and be to big to whip around in any really intricate dance moves.

Basically Penello? confused

That's the only FF dancer I've seen. *Doesn't own a lot of FF games.*

In D&D, Dancing Dervish pretty much covered the gypsy/Arabian dancer bit, but they used Scimitars. Class was ******** good too. You didn't need armor at all. Though throw in a 4 armed bug and the right feats and you'll be slicing up boss level stuff by yourself.

Anyway nah, I think I got it.

In the FF games dancers and Bards would dance or sing, respectively, and it could either enforce and add support to their team and weaken foes.
For instance A gypsy could use her powers to increase the speed of her allies, or she could curse he enemies, or make them lust for her, in a seductive dance.

Do we have any particular rules on multiclassing?

Currently no. Should we make some sort of limit?

on a side note

When the classes and species are done should I put up the new profile form?
Or wait till we've maybe got the deities worked out more?I'm sorry, I'm so out of it. Been too busy to get on since like thurs

^At this rate it'll be a while.

A class limit isn't terribly important. Most of the limits are common sense. People who take too many at once tend to suck at all of em. Certain classes require strict dedication (Paladin, Druid, Monk, any clergy class really), and others can't be taken after you've started on another (again, Paladin, druid, Monk), and some that just won't mix with others (IE you can't be a Monk Barbarian, or a warlock cleric)
