Jani's actions after his greeting let him know, along with the small growl from before, and the feeling of rage and hatred he had felt wash over him. Those were all her feelings, her actions. He wouldn't bother with her now, though. He felt at peace, and though she would be only a few feet away, he felt as though nothing could harm him in this sacred place.
Instead, Rock chose to look around now. There were others coming in from all directions, it seemed. Colors he had never seen before in his very sheltered life bled out from the trees as though someone had spilled colorful dyes from their mixing bowls. He made a point to look at all of them, to acknowledge they were all there. Some of them frightened him, while others seemed to take on the powerful calm he felt while he was here.
The wind ruffled his thick, long fur again and suddenly a male who looked very much similar to Aleu was by their side.
So he wasn't the only wolf to have his sister here. At least this pair seemed to love each other, if only in a respect sort of way. He thought of Toki at once, and wished that she was the sister who had found her way here, instead of Jani, but this was the way fate was going, and that was how Rock was determined to accept things.

So he was brought here by a seer, that would explain how he found his way here. Perhaps his siblings was also brought here by the same sibling. She watched the interaction between the two and was reminded slightly of how her nephews and niece acted around each other, though it was not as extreme as this. When she saw Rock looking up at her as Aleu gave him a smile, lowered her head and whispered. "Don't worry, it will be okay." And then gave him a gentle nudge with her nose to reassure him.
Her head lifted up to see another newcomer, this one was mostly red, black and white in color. "Hello." She greeted him. "I am doing well." Was this new one here for the same reason as Rock, the other pup and herself? Possibly. Another came in now as well, another male, and Aleu tipped her head in greeting to him. And then another. So many were coming, it was hard to keep track of them all. For now though she remained where she was to lend whatever support Rock would need.
Of course when her brother showed up that was the biggest shock of all. Had he followed her here thinking that she needed protection or to perhaps bring her home? Well she wasn't about to go home until she knew the purpose for her journey here. Of course this also made a million questions run through her head, like how would Terreis manage those five sons of theirs without Derecho there? Others circled about as well but she pushed them to the back of her mind, no need to worry when they were so far away from home. She smiled warmly at her brother and gave his shoulder a small bump with her own. "Derecho." And then she motioned towards the pup sitting beside her. "I'd like you to meet my friend Rock. Rock this is my brother Derecho."

'Hiiiiyo, Rocko, and Deeeeer, and Aloooo, and Jahnee, and Flits, and Kevar~'
Whoa, though. There were a lot more here than whenever he came as a pup. owo Like . . . He counted silently, bobbing his head in each wolf's direction. Six of them? Whoa. Back in his time there had only been four, all them older than him. Well duh, he had been a pup then. Sometimes he wondered if coming so young had not been the best idea . . . It put pressures a wolf no pup should have.
Adam let his mind wander, knowing it would take Tree-Dweller time to appear like he did during his own session. For the most part the wolves congregated here were at peace in one way or another: he smiled inwardly at the brown siblings, the odd schism between the two other pups seeming magnified in comparison. He wished that wasn't so . . . Even if he had never felt that camaraderie with anyone like this "Derecho" and "Aleu" did, the latter name of which he had to pick up in her mind. There was a shy green male entering the fringe who seemed utterly frightened to come in, and Adam felt a pang of sympathy for him. It had been very much the same when he had arrived, a youth amongst adults with histories he couldn't begin to imagine . . .
'It's okay,' he thought to pink-mawed male gently. 'Everyone here is at peace. Come join us.' He would have said "nice" instead, but clearly at least one of them wasn't.
His wandering mind went back to work afterwards, stopping on the tri-colored male who . . . oh wow, he kinda thought that Adam might be Newanti! The seer grinned, partially tempted to test that fun joke. But then, what if the real Newanti didn't enjoy jokes during this time? Maybe it'd just confuse everyone else. Siiigh . . . Okay, no joke this time.
The real fun part, though, was when his consciousness rested upon the funny-tailed one, at which his face lit up with recognition. 'Oh, oh! I know that seer!' he exclaimed happily, which always looked odd with those lightless black eyes. 'She's, um . . . Sheeeee's . . . Shiva! Yeah!' He had met her twice before and thought her a pretty nice lady. 'How's she been?'

"R-Rocko?" he wondered out loud. What kind of crazy name... that wasn't his name. He looked around at all the others, and listened to the strange speech of this wolf. He must be a seer, Rock thought to himself. There was no other way to explain it.
He smiled up at Derecho when he was introduced, hoping that if Aleu was so nice, her brother had to be the same easy-going temperament. Though... that wasn't quite true with him and his siblings, now was it? But who could you trust if you went through life thinking that way?
He nodded at the strangely colored wolf as he figured the name of his friend who had brought him here. "Yes, Shiva... she's been... alright?" he had to guess. She looked fine to him, though he had never met her before the days leading up to their journey here. If this wolf wanted to ask anyone about Shiva, it would be best to ask herself, or Sam. Sam would know.
He suddenly had the itch to wander, but wasn't sure if any of the other wolves wanted to talk. They all seemed to be in their own individual states of peace and quiet, and he wasn't anyone to break something like that up.
"Thank you." he smiled up at Aleu, very thankful for her reassuring nature. He wondered if she had pups of her own, or if she was just the type that would make a great mother.

Flit shifted slightly as the black-eyed wolf spoke his name along with the names of the other wolves near the tree. It was then that he figured out that it was that wolf that was a Seer. How else would that wolf know his name? I hadn't spoken at all since he arrived at the tree. He relaxed a fraction of an inch but still remained where he sat. He was uncertain of the other wolves. It was then that he heard a voice in his head. He glanced over at the Seer curiously before standing up and taking a few steps closer towards the group. The Seer was right. If anyone was going to attack him they would have done so by now. He relaxed a little bit more and sat down near the Seer.

As night began to fall, the glowing silver of the tree became more prominent and as such, those of the magic calling already in the area might feel their mind buzz with something akin to static. Not overly loud, but enough to produce an air of expectancy about them. Non-magic wolves would only notice the light of the tree.
Both magic and non, however, might spy the faint outline of a wolf face in the fissure of the tree and the sparkle of a single eye. It was obvious he was in no rush to join the masses.

"Greetings Rock" Derecho inclined his head to the pup in a solemn manner "Good to know someone was keeping my sister company..she's not often this far from home" He told the youngster "Me either normally" He confessed before Aleu could jump in and point that out herself.
Knowing that Aleu must have a million quetions running through her head Derecho chuckled and gave her a wan smile "Mom is looking out for the boy's" He told her, he might not agree with Terreis' views but he wouldn't torture her for the length of this trip either. "But I guess we both just felt the need to be here"

Rock smiled at Derecho, liking him instantly for caring so much about his family. He dipped his head in response, a sort of 'you're welcome'. He followed up with his own admission, shortly after. "Me either... this is my first journey truly out of my pack's borders." he didn't count leaving South Seaside... they shouldn't count it either.
Rock felt distracted by the waning sunlight, and looked towards the tree once more. It seemed to glow brighter now, and he wondered if it was really truly brighter, or if it was an effect of the oncoming night, letting the tree shine at its fullest.
As he stared in awe at the tree, he thought he could see the wavering shadow of a wolf, and with a sharp intake of breath, looked away. If he had really seen a wolf, was it the Omnus, or just another gifted shown up to visit with the travelers?
He hoped they would all soon find out.

Kevar? No one ever abbreviated his name like that. Kevarian stared at the Seer, but the pup beat him to the question. Apparently this wolf just had a habit of giving strange nicknames. He sat down and tilted his head, his ears pricked forward curiously at the other male, trying to decide what to ask him first.
Suddenly, Kevarian's mind felt as if it had filled with little prickers, shocks. Kevarian literally leaped up from his sitting position and danced backwards slightly, but the feeling had come and gone in a moment. He glanced quickly between the other wolves there and uneasily shifted back to where he had been sitting.
Now he really didn't want to talk. He redirected his eyes to the glowing tree, and then to the hollow in it. Someone was in there, but whoever it was was obviously not interested in visitors.

Sam, huh? Saaaaam. He committed the name to memory while nodding with a smile to the shy green male now sitting next to him. There we go, that was probably everyone here, right? Riiight? Any more and poor Newanti would have to go investigating so many minds right from his napping that they might be a while.
He felt "Kevar's" eyes upon him still, the only one that hadn't talked yet by his judgment. Well besides "Flits", but at least that guy reacted to his projected thoughts! More skimming upon the odd male's thoughts brought up his latest, an observation on the tree which no doubt was slowly drawing more and more of all of their attention. Adam could hear the soft buzzing in his ear and flicked his ears about, juuuust to make sure it wasn't actually an insect. Nope, Tree-Dweller's doing. 'Iz a good sign!' he commented happily. 'He be coming soon, guys. Gotta be ready, he'll be uuuuuber sleepy.'
Well, he was last time. This time too?
Adam saw an opportunity for a few more giggles here, and he grinned from ear to ear in spite of himself. 'Tree-Dweller needs respect, so when he comes out you need to bow your heads and say 'M'lord'. But you can't look at him till he says you can, or he might make you sleepy. And if you fall asleep, you might miss your chance!'
And yes, that word was spoken with the intention of a super scary threat.

Flit's eyes darted around the area at the other wolves. He didn't help but feel a little anxious to meet the Omnus and a little nervous about being near this many wolves. The last time he was near this many wolves was when he was with the Outsiders. He guessed he was still a pack member but it had been ages since he had visited that territory. Maybe he should pay them a visit after was done with the Omnus.
He heard the Seer's words and he noticed a figure standing in a hollow in the tree that he hadn't noticed until that very moment. He ducked his head slightly and waited for the figure to come out into the open.

Rock knew games when he heard them. He was, of course, a pup who loved games. Oh, he had no doubt that the Omnus could do all of those things to them and more, but he wasn't so sure about the whole head bowing and name giving. That just seemed too silly for a place like this.
Quiet reverence. That was what Rock would be practicing this night.
He mulled over telling the others what he thought, but that would be rude. Instead, he would just wait and see what they all did on their own. That was the kind of place Rock thought this was - a place to do what you felt compelled to do.
After a bit of thinking and watching, Rock decided to let the calm take him over more thoroughly, and lay himself on the ground by Aleu's feet, flattening out to be comfortable. He dare not close his eyes, for fear that he would fall asleep and miss his chance, but he felt it was safe to rest his body a little bit.

Well with her fears about the her brothers sons put to rest Aleu could breath easy. She cared a lot for her nephews and niece and hated being away from them, especially if it meant Derecho was also away from them. Aleu nodded slightly, yes for some reason both of them felt the need to be here and clearly the same applied to all the other wolves that were gathered her - well perhaps not that red male as he seemed quite familiar with this place already.
It didn't take long for her to notice that the glow of the tree was getting brighter, a sure signal that something would happen soon. After whatever was to come was over Aleu would need to make up a song about this place and the mysterious tree that lived her. And then she saw it, a single glowing orb that after another moment she realized was an eye looking out at them. It made a chill run down her spine but she remained where she was. When the red male spoke Aleu smiled slightly, not sure whether to take him seriously or not but she refused to speak up in case it offended the tree-dweller.

It was really difficult for Newanti to not bust a gut at Adam's quick tutorial, but he settled for a slight chuckle to himself and hauled his body up off the dirt ground. The sky had darkened considerably and now the moon stood out through the gap in the trees that Newanti used to gauge if the night was right or not; the tree glowed as equally bright as the moon as well and it would be difficult for those assembled to not see him in the tree crevice, so he might as well make himself known.
So I see it's time for a party out here... his voice commented dryly within the heads of those assembled as he sauntered out, eyes flitting to the youngsters with an expression much like the one he gave Adam for the first time; confusion. How odd that this young ones would be flocking to his tree...and in the presence of so many strangers!

Derecho's ear's flicked as Adam's voice flickers through his mind, without a voice to guide him however he was somewhat at a loss for a direction to look and realizing that he'd heard the voice earlier and not responded...being a bit to distracted by finding Aleu, lifting his head he eyed those gathered trying to find the source of what was clearly a joke, an amused expression on his face, or at least he hoped it was a joke...else he was likely going to offend someone on accident.
Aleu's stiffening drew his attention back to the tree just as Newanti revealed himself at long last and squinting against the now quite brightly glowing tree Derecho ducked his head a bit anyways, respect should always be given when meeting someone after all and a wolf that lived in a glowing tree and spoke through the mind certainly deserved respect. "Well it seems we all got an invitation of sorts anyways" He responded to the voice.
