Helena spun each time, lashing out. She didn't expect to land a blow, but it was always worth a try. She stood her ground when Schraeder began to taunt her. She knew a bit of psychology and something about what he said seemed off. "You're bravado is a sham, Captain masculine," was her snide reply. "And I'm going to do what should have been done last time." Without telling him just what exactly that was, Grissom charged in again, blades at the ready. When she finally lashed out it was a low cut with her other blade held up in a defensive posture. It seemed almost too low to have been anything of real concern until it dawned on Schraeder: Helena was attempting to emasculate him!

Finnegan swore and planted his hands on the ground and bent his knees as he pushed off from the ground and rolled backwards onto his feet nimbly.

"Who the hell are you, now?" Finnegan inquired, taking a fighting stance and not daring to go near the man with the strange air pressure going on.

Saieve caught himself from falling back any further and reached to balance Clarissa as well. He had temporarily forgiven the Fire man in a new interest in the newcomer "Hey! Who the heck is this?" Saieve moved in to assist his brother.

All the fighting and frenzied debachery left Jesse a little confused. This all happened at once, and not only did he not know what to do right off hand, he was seeming to slip away from himself at that moment in time.

Each direction he turned, there was something going on. And for some strange reason, this was making him hungry. That's when he turned his attention to Helena and Schraeder.

"Gah... this feeling..." he muttered as he held his hands to his gut, trying his best to push the pain away. But, the more he pushed, the more it seemed to want to take complete control, and send him over the edge. His eyes focused on Schraeder, who he knew wasn't one of his own. He knew that he was attacking one of his family members, and this wasn't something he could stand for.

"Eat him..." a voice said in the back of his head. "No one will miss him... and you're insatiably hungry... You should do what your body tells you..." it said again, drowning out all other sounds outside of the voice itself.

Before he knew anything, his body was covered in quills, and he was advancing to the fray between Schraeder and Helena at a rapid, and steadily growing pace.

"Must protect... Must feed!" he was now saying to himself, loud enough that he could hear it above the voice and the thundering of his own heart beat. His muscles were tense, his fists clenched closed. His mind was set on protecting, and feeding. A lethal combination if mixed with the right vessel.

At this moment, it was like Jesse had tunnel vision, with Schraeder being the only target in his sights.

"Must protect... must feed!"

((Uhh, Sumitsu, you guys already fed right before you got there, so...))

Schraeder realized what she was doing and, with a shout, teleported away, into the air, then a second later teleported to above her, changing his momentum so that it was an angled kick into her spine.

Of course, he could not follow the technique through, because of Jesse's interference. Schraeder was forced to blink away from them both, maintaining a long distance.

The air pressure began to grow around him. "You don't have any idea who we are? Neither of you? The Thief has grown more senile with age, I take it," the man declared. He suddenly thrust out a hand in either direction; the air compressed visibly, and both Saieve and Finnegan were faced with an attack probably strong enough to break bones.

Adela made it to see Helena attempt to strike her low blow - no pun intended. "OH HELL NO!" Adela came running from the side and was aiming a punch towards Helena's face. "You know how embarrassing it was to heal him?! I am NOT going to fix THAT bad an injury." Schraeder had already disappeared, but that wouldn't stop Helena from continuing her crusade to emasculate her friend.

Agent A grunted as his spikes snapped clean off. He would have immediately helped Jon, but he had to wait for his healing to kick in so that he could reproduce his spikes. "I'm sorry for that, if you can pull that fancy trick again, I will definitely be able to give you cover now." A started running towards them this time, without using his claws. Every time he got close to one of them, he'd punch or kick with the spikes immediately coming out and then retreating - he didn't want to lose his quills again.

Clarissa was still there when the strange man had faced Saieve and Finnegan. However, with the attack already made on the brothers, Clarissa had come at him from the side. She hoped that since he was more focused on them, she could surprise attack him.

"I'd... very much... rather... like to...,"Jon's words directed to the agent were becoming strained as the pressure on his heart was becoming extremely taxing.

Inside the whirling maelstrom, dodging at speeds only capable due to his temporal acceleration, he was at the absolute center, literally right next to the vulnerable area that he had spotted before.

This would be risky, but he had to attempt it, otherwise he would tire out through pure attrition. Focusing the Sigil time manipulation on his own body instead of a target area, he slowed down the flow of time around him in a twenty foot radius, essentially reducing all movement to a crawl, including his own. The hue of his sword and body, as well as the area within the chronosphere became its deep blue color once again.

He prepared his weapon as sweat rolled down his forehead through labored breaths, he maintained an En Garde stance.

"Now! Dammit now!"

The chronosphere expanded - the two began to slow, staring at themselves. The bubble pushed against theirs, and theirs pushed back - the chronosphere only got to ten feet, but it was enough - A slammed a fist into the female's head, and then Jon couldn't maintain it, he collapsed -

There were two separate thuds as one slammed into a wall and the other somehow struck the ceiling and kept going. Neither seemed capable of much further fighting.

Jon clutched at his chest as he dug his sword into the floor to lift himself up to one knee. His breathing came in labored gasps. Blood was beginning to flow throughout his body properly again, though he would need a few moments to recover from his feat. He hoped that Agent A would at least be able to guard him long enough for him to stand back up again and at least hold his own.

Agent A stayed in front of Jon in order to keep him protected from any other danger. The man was likely recovering his breath after doing that incredible trick. "How are you feeling?" He noticed that the other person that was assigned on his team was gone - A halfheartedly hoped that the guy hadn't gotten killed. It's not like I knew the guy all that well, and he was the one to leave us.

"I'll live... Now we need to deal with those two now before they get up and try that bollocks again."

Jon forced himself to his feet, staggering a bit at first, but slowly regaining enough blood flow throughout his body to maintain a defensive stance.

"I won't be able to manipulate time for a bit longer.. Much more and my heart would have completely given out. I'll be with you for physical support as much as I am able."

Joneleth was concerned for his allies throughout the area, he could not see what was going on, but at the same time, he couldn't help but focus on the current crisis.

(good point Jokerman. I'm getting senile in my old age. Memory ain't what it used to be hehe)

(Disregarding the eating attempt)

Jesse snapped back to himself, realizing that this wasn't hunger, but a shot of rage. He came full stop when he saw that Schraeder teleported away, leaving both him and Helena standing in a proned position to fight.

Focusing his attention on Schraeder, Jesse flexed his muscles which in turn made his quills quiver.

"Looks like you've got your hands full here buddy" Jesse said in a taunting sort of way. "Mayhaps, you're rethinking your strategy? Or better yet, thinking it's a good time to run away and save yourself?"

"Run away? From you?" Schraeder scoffed. "If I recall correctly, it was not I that was running away the last time we met. In fact, I'm pretty sure you were completely unconscious before you managed to flee."

He chuckled and looked at the angry Host before shrugging.

A plane further away spontaneously exploded, and that was when they saw it - the rest of the Adam-team was holed up by the newcomers in a corner. They were winning, and were coming to support the others, but it was a slow process.

Jon realized he probably wasn't going to be able to do much more than defend himself for the remainder of the fight, or if he did, it would probably do serious damage. He'd used his capability, and now he probably ought to leave the others to finish the fight.

Clarissa was close to him when he whirled. The pressure increased and she ducked as another detonation of some variety occurred above her. There was no heat associated; it was simply a shockwave, fairly directed. This man was pretty dangerous. The man brought his leg down and went to bear hug her. Again, pressure began building.

"Dammit." Finnegan and Saieve swore together.

Saieve moved in, easily closing the distance, as he positioned himself to intercept the hug. He swung his left claw at the man's face and feigned, going for his wrist instead. With his right, he curled his hand into a fist and pulled back for a hook.

He did his best to deal with the pressure, what the hell was this?

Finnegan began to ignore the Stone man and turned his full attention to the newcomer. He moved in behind the man with impressive speed and tried to get his arms beneath the man's arms and then lace his fingers behind his head to restrain him as his brother attacked.
