Level 1 Mission MISSION- Fair thee Well, Slowpoke!
Azalea Town is getting ready for a festival in honor of Slowpoke. However, they need a Slowking for the opening ceremony. Kurt was supposed to go catch one, but he's hurt his back and can't go.
Your mission is to go to the Slowpoke Well and catch a Slowpoke. Once you have one, take it to either Kurt or Bugsy, the town's Gym Leader. They'll reward you for your work.
Pokemon: Any Basic-stage Bug-type, if you trade Slowpoke to Bugsy.
Items: 5 of any kind of Ball (Except Aqua Ball, Master Ball or Luxury Master Ball), if you give Slowpoke to Kurt.
Reward: P$600 ----
“Why a festival to Slowpoke, of all creatures? I mean, Slowpokes are kind of weird... they’re really, really slow, and really, really pink. Pink’s kind of a creepy color. I think hell might be that color! And they evolve when a Shelder attaches to it’s tail. Or something. I mean, different strokes for different folks, and all, but what? And they’ve got this crazy look on their faces... I just know they’re planning to take over the world! It’ll be Slowpoke Centeral, I tell you... we need to start the resistance now. With an underground base. And ninjas! Lots of them!”
[Uh, Kail? The mission?] Murai peered over his trainer’s shoulder- the fish was balanced awkwardly there.
He blinked. “Mission?”
[On the TADS... that you were looking at? The one that made you start ranting in the first place?]
“... what?”
Murai groaned, and nudged this trainer hard. [LOOK AT THE SCREEN.]
Kail started, as if he was surprised to see that he was holding his TADS in his hands. He looked down on it again, re-reading the mission. “You see, this is why I shouldn’t get missions this early in the morning. My sanity filter isn’t up yet. So, Azalea Town, a Slowpoke, and an old guy who makes really awesome Pokeballs! And bug Pokemon. But that’s always amusing.” He bounced to his feet, rolling the Carvanha off of him. He exited the building, jumping to his trusty, rusty bike.
As he pedaled into the small town, Kail noticed that the festivities were already beginning Blue glowing papers lanterns hung from the rooftops, swaying gently in the wind. Ribbons were strung up across the town, the same pale pink of the Pokemon it intended to honor. Stone statues of the Slowpoke were placed in front of the all the houses- their mouths were open in a Yawn. Small children were running around, playing with plushie versions of the Pokemon. He did know the story of the Slowpoke who saved the town from a draught, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t slightly weirded out. Slowpokes were always kind of creepy to him.
He pulled the hastily-drawn map from his pocket. “Kurt’s house, Kurt’s house...” he muttered, walking alongside his bicycle. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a White Apricorn Tree, which had a house right beside it. That had to be it! Wheeling his bike to the house in question, he propped it up against the wall, and knocked against the door. “Um, hello?”
A loud, irate voice called from inside, “Come in! You the Aqua kid?”
Pushing open the door, Kail entered cautiously. “Yes, I’m Kail McClane, from Team Aqua. You’re Kurt, right?” An older man met his eyes, sprawled on the the bed in the back of the house. He looked distinctly annoyed at his predicament. The older man pushed himself onto his elbows, struggling in pain. Kail raised his hands. “Hey, you don’t need to get up if you can’t...”
“Eh, I’m not that old,” the man, presumably Kurt, grumbled. “Just because I’m not as young as I used to be doesn’t mean I can’t do things.” He blanched white, lying back down. “Anyway, what do you want? Didn’t you get the message?”
Kail tugged on his bangs. “Just that I needed to go catch a Slowpoke for the festival you all are having. Or a Slowking, I wasn’t sure. The message was kind of unclear.”
Kurt rolled his eyes. “There’s a well outside of town- it’s full of Slowpokes. All you need to do is go out and catch one. I'd do it myself, but...” he shrugged.
“You decided to bungee-jump off the top of the Pokemon Center?” Kail suggested.
“Yes, well- no! Why would I be doing that?”
“Because it’d be fun. At least, I always wanted to try it.” Kail smiled cheerfully.
Kurt groaned. “They sent me the special kid, didn’t they?”
“Everyone’s special. Which means no one is. Or something, I’m not sure.”
“Right, right, just go get the Slowpoke. And try not to jump off of any buildings, would you?”
“Fine, fine...”
Leaving his bike at Kurt’s, the blond boy darted out of the town. The well wasn’t too far away, so it didn’t take him too long to arrive at the edge of the dark hole. With a flick of his wrist, he released his newest Pokemon, Onii, the cocky Eevee. The little fox Pokemon leapt into the air, looking about. [So what are we up to?]
“Hunting and gathering, come on.” With that, Kail jumped feet first down the well. Pretty much any of his other Pokemon would have reacted buy rolling their eyes and entering in a slightly less crazy way. Onii, on the other had, took a flying leap into the hole.
Kail managed to land on his feet, but was knocked over by an Eevee to the head. [Your hair is surprisingly fluffy and nice-smelling,] Onii remarked.
“I hope it tastes good, too,” came Kail’s muffled reply. “Now, get off me.”
One shot-put to an Eevee later, the pair began wandering around the warm, gaping, wet darkness of the well. Freudian imagery aside, Kail was fairly bored, and slightly worried. What if a massive army of Slowpokes came swarming up from the depths of hell? Did the eat human flesh? Would this be revenge for all the Slowpoke Tails people ate? Oh, bright Arceus, this could not end w-
CRASH!
Kail let loose a terrifying scream of horror, sounding exactly like a little girl, and nearly toppled over. Onii laughed. [Fraidy-cat!]
“You know, I don’t have to feed you...” remarked Kail sarcastically.
[It’s not like there’s anything scary down here. I’m not even sure there’s any Slowpokes he-]
“Slooooooooooooooooooooooooow...”
Cue a pair of intensely girly screams (for all of Onii’s bravado, he was just as jumpy as Kail).
An average-sized, lazy-eyed Slowpoke stared at the pair, who had managed to do some sort of twirl, and had fallen to the ground. The Slowpoke didn’t look remotely surprised by the trainer and his Pokemon. It continued to just look blankly at them both.
Kail sat up, tilting his head. “Um... hello?” he said, reaching out with his mind to check the Slowpoke’s state. He wasn’t the sort to read minds unless it was absolutely necessary, but there was something off about this Slowpoke. Indeed, his sixth sense was correct- the Slowpoke felt like a blank slate. Upon further investigation, he realized that the Slowpoke’s mind, was, in fact, blank. “The hell?” Maybe this was going to be easier than he expected. A Pokemon with that little will couldn’t be that dangerous. Cautiously, he pulled out a Pokeball, and tossed it at the Slowpoke, not daring to hope. The Pokemon was surrounded by a red light, and sucked in.
And no. The Slowpoke burst out of the Pokeball. His expression hadn’t changed- he was not even angry at the catching attempt. Rolling his eyes, he commanded, “Onii, Tackle him!”
The little Eevee launch off of his trainer and jumped at the Slowpoke. He landed hard onto the Slowpoke, knocking his opponent back. However, the Slowpoke returned the favor, lugging his huge body to crush-Tackle the Eevee. The battling pair glared at each other- rather, Onii glared at the Slowpoke, while the Slowpoke looked dreamy-eyed and clueless. Not exactly a fight of the ages.
“Okay, try Tail Whip.” Wow, he’d always thought that was ill-named.
Changing tactics, Onii wiggled his tail, fluttering his eyes and looking intensely adorable. Nothing changed, expect that maybe the Slowpoke giggled a little. Or that was the water in the well, it was hard to tell.
The Slowpoke’s reaction to the non-threatening move was to tilt it’s head to the side. Everything look and tasted purple for a moment and there was a loud bang-tear sound, like metal hitting flesh. The image of a nail flashed before everyone’s eyes. Kail swore- Curse was never good, but at least Slowpoke wasn’t a ghost. Still, it’d be best to get the fight done quick.
“You know the drill, mate!”
The Eevee, though shaken from the Curse, leapt at his Slowpoke, slamming him down. The Slowpoke’s expression hadn’t changed, and both Kail and Onii were kind of creeped out. Still, the Slowpoke, managed to lift himself up, and hit Onii with a full-force Tackle, stronger than before. The Eevee was sent reeling, stumbling backwards, but still in the game.
Kail bit his lip. Thanks to Curse, Slowpoke was just going to get stronger and stronger. This needed to be over, quick. “Onii, I want you to Tackle, and then get the hell out of the way!”
Onii’s attack hit, and he struggled to get out of the way, but the Slowpoke wasn’t having any of that. Instead, the little Eevee was crushed against the wall thanks to the weight of the bigger Pokemon. Onii didn’t have much more strength left, as he squirmed away from the Slowpoke’s grip, trying to move faster.
Kail growled lowly. This was something he hated about battling- that he couldn’t help. Drop-kicking a Slowpoke was probably frowned upon in this place. Without realizing it, his blue eyes glowed white as he clenched his fists tightly. “Finish this, Onii!” he snapped telepathically, in the way he got when he couldn’t tell the difference between mental voices and physical ones.
The Eevee drew a bit of strength from his trainer’s psychic anger, and mustered his energy for one last attack. With anger, he jumped forward, Tackling the Slowpoke- and it was a critical hit!
Dizzy and confused, the Slowpoke made a mistake- it attempted to activate Curse again. Obviously, this had no effect, giving Onii time to move out of the way, and Kail time to throw the Pokeball. This time, it worked.
Kail, eyes normal, ran forward, shoving the Pokeball in his pocket, and scooping up the Eevee. “Good job, mate,” he said, scratching his newest Pokemon’s ears.
Onii preened, grinning despite his injuries. [That was fun!]
Thirty minutes and a bruise knee later, Kail and Onii had returned to Kurt’s, Pokeball in hand. “Be careful, Mr. Kurt, I think that thing is made of evil and cursed marshmallows,” the blond said seriously.
Kurt rolled his eyes, managed to sit up in bed. “Heh, there’s no Slowpoke I can’t coax to be nice. Thanks, kid. Saved my hide, you did. Now, I believe I owe you some Pokeballs...?”
Kail’s grin turned mischievious. “What do you say about some Shiny Pokeballs, old man?”

Mission - Flame on! Objective: Go catch a fire pokemon! Mission Level: One Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary fire pokemon (Vulpix) Funds upon completion: 600 I was bored, and so was my Piplup. It was ages since we did a mission we were at Aqua HQ, staring at my TADS, hoping for a call. “Shall we check the board?” I asked. Piplup glared at me and nodded. I walked over dejectedly. “There’s one here!” I called over to Piplup who was sitting slumped in a chair, when she heard this she stumbled to her feet and ran over to me. “Piplup!” she cried, almost tripping over her own feet… well, flippers. “There’s two 'Catch a fire pokemon' listings or one 'Catch an electric pokemon' listing.” Piplup jabbed her wing at the notice about catching fire. “You don’t like electric pokemon, do you...” I said to her. She shook her head fervently. “Fire then, come on!” I agreed. After packing a rucksack full of equipment we started cycling towards Mt. Coronet. There were a couple of fire pokemon there. Piplup was sitting happily in my bike’s basket jabbing buttons on my TADS, a favorite pastime of hers. She picked it up and showed me an entry about Moltres. “We can’t catch that, It’s a legendary,! All I have are you and Zigzagoon.” She stared at me confused “Oh, well I know you’re fantastic but Moltres still maybe slightly out of your league...!” I giggled. She turned her back on me and fiddled some more with my TADS. Still a day’s ride before we reach Mt. Coronet. An hour later we were passing some grassy plains and a blaze caught my eye - just a small red line across the greens. I was curious. “What’s that?” I whispered to Piplup who put the TADS down and looked to where the red was. She shrugged her shoulders. “Let’s have a look then!” I started cycling towards the red. I knew something was wrong when I heard the shouting “Get some water!” I heard a voice shout, a man running towards me with a bucket. “Water, must get water!” he was muttering to himself without sparing a glance at me. I could easily see the fire now. Some people were circling it trying hopelessly to extinguish it with buckets of water, but it was spreading fast. Also I saw a tiny Vulpix cowering terrified of the fire it had created. I dismounted my bike and ran to the fire. “Piplup, Whirlpool!” I bravely commanded. Soon Piplup had created a mass of churning water, and she directed it towards the fire - it was instantly extinguished. She sat down slightly tired after such a big attack. “Thanks!” said one of the men who had tried to extinguish the fire. "We need to go now," he continued, and with that, and they departed. Then I spotted the Vulpix who was still cowering. I walked over and bent down to it. “It’s ok...” I said, gently extending my hand to the Vulpix. Swiftly it scratched me. I quickly backed away, the cut was not deep. “It’s still scared,” I said to Piplup. “Piplup! Use bubble beam!” A streak of bubbles hit Vulpix. It turned and used flamethrower. “DUCK!” I shouted to Piplup but it was too late he was hit and badly hurt, clearly this Vulpix was powerful. “Do you want to have a rest? I could send out Zigzagoon!” I whispered stroking her feathers, but still she stumbled to her feet and shook her head and ambled over to Vulpix, head held high. “Whirlpool now!” I carried on, and again the mighty jet of water was in the air and the Vulpix was trapped inside. “Now peck” Piplup heroically charged through the water. “Pokeball, Go!” I shouted throwing the Pokeball wildly into the whirlpool, not being able to see any of the pokemon inside it. The water was falling and I saw Piplup on the ground. “Piplup!” I shouted, running over. She sat up and showed me the Pokeball. “Yes!” I shouted with glee. I went over gave Piplup a hug and pocketed the Pokeball. I went back to HQ and tore the notice saying “Catch a fire pokemon” of the board. “Completed?” The man beside me asked. “Yup” I said, nodding. “A beautiful Vulpix!" p.s. CX Sunny told me to tell u she has had internet troubles but she will be back as soon as possible

Hermes Rose Mission - Flame on! Objective: Go catch a fire pokemon! Mission Level: One Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary fire pokemon (Vulpix) Funds upon completion: 600 Well, what can I say? It was pretty short, even for a Level one mission. Not that I mind though. The battle was a little too close to the anime style rather than the game style and a bit one sided, but I'll over look it due to the mission level. Word of advice, reread your missions please. I cannot stress enough the fact that some don't revise even if they see even a mistake. Your biggest one was restating and in this one "...and with that, and they departed." Oh, and one more thing, it's pretty vague... but that's is easily overlooked. Now, all that aside, I did like it for the mot part, it's not often I see a pokemon with a bit of an attitude. It's refreshing for the most part, I like to see the anime style on everything but the battles, and this mission showed that. I'll say pass, because there wasn't anything huge to spoiled the whole thing. So, you get 600 PD, and a sweet little Vulpix.

Level 1 MISSION- High Tide
The moon is out, the tides are swelling, and the fish are jumping! Get down to the shore and catch yourself a water pokemon!
Pokemon: Any non-evolved, non-legendary water-type (Feebas)
Rewards: 400 ----
“Heh, it’s so nice out here...”
Kail lay on the beach, relaxed, eyes half-shut. His smile was light and relaxed, and he looked rather peaceful and quiet compared to how the bouncy ball of fuzz normally was. His greenish camo jacket was draped over one of the rocks he’d jumped over to get down to the beach, leaving him a white tank top and dark green capris. His shoes had been flung off next to his bike somewhere a ways away. Supposedly, he was on a mission, but the night was so cool and serene, he didn’t want to move.
SPLASH!
Of course, that was interrupted by Murai, who appeared to be giggling at his trainer’s trance. [Come on!] he yelled, a telepathic call that he’d been getting better and better. Being a Psychic’s Pokemon did have it’s advantages. [Don’t you want to do something?]
“No. I think I’m just going to go to sleep...” he thought back, not moving his lips.
Murai leapt around in the water, annoyed. [You’re so lazy! Besides, you promised you’d go swimming with me...] Beneath his annoyance, there was the sound of pleading. The Carvanha was bored with the dry land, and wanted a swimming adventure.
Kail shook the sand out of his hair, adjusting to the night air. “Alright, fine,” he replied with a grin. He rose, then jumped into the water after Murai. In the interest of catching a rarer pokemon, they intended to swim out a ways. Since Murai didn’t know Swim, they’d simply have to work together. Not wanting to waste his breath that he would need to swim, Kail switched permanently to telepathy. “Let’s go!”
The pair had been swimming out into the ocean for about fifteen minutes. The shoreline was nothing more than a faint glimmer on the horizon- they were fast swimmers. And yet they had not run into any Pokemon. “Man, what is up with tonight? Did we just choose a weird area?"
Murai frowned. [It shouldn’t be. Perhaps you’ve scared them off.]
Kail rolled his eyes. “Hey, now, I’m not that sca-”
A loud sucking noise, like a vacuum suddenly turning on, rang out like a shot. The waves started up, chopping around them. Before either of them even knew what had occurred, something invisible grabbed at Kail’s legs, and yanked him under the water.
[No!] Murai dove down, but realized that he wasn’t quite in control. The swirling current pulled the Carvanha down too. Despite his strength, the Pokemon had almost no control over where he went. Still, he managed to get steer in the current, searching for Kail. It was in vain- the water was pitch-black, and he was being shaken up so hard, he couldn’t even tell which way was up.
An undetermined time later, Murai realized that the current had slow down, and that light was piercing the darkness. Looking around, he was surprised to see that the light was vibrant- ruby red, emerald green, bright yellow, and shocking purple. They’d arrived inside a cave with water and air, right above what appeared to be a coral reef- one that was beautiful and full of Pokemon. But where was Kail?
“Murai, I think I just swallowed enough water to drown a Gyrados...”
The Carvanha hurried over to his trainer, who was clutching onto a rock, water-logged and groggy. [Here, lean against me,] Murai said protectively, nudging the boy’s arms over his body.
“What was that?” thought Kail to Murai, glad he’d sticked methods of communication. His throat hurt so much, he wasn’t sure that he could speak.
[Don’t know, but look!] Murai motioned about with his fin. [So many Pokemon, and I don’t think they noticed us yet. So, what do you want to do?]
Kail, however, had been distracted by want looked like a group of Pokemon, mostly Goldeens and Mantykes, were surrounding a smaller Pokemon that he couldn’t see. From the sound of it, they were ganging up on whoever it was. Pushing off from Murai, the blond swam over. “Hey! What’s going on over here?” he broadcasted to the lot of them angrily. His Carvanha groaned, but followed him.
The leader of the group, a particularly flamboyant Goldeen, turned to look at Kail. [Stay out of this, human. This pathetic freak of nature needs to be taught a lesson.]
“Yeah, because one on ten is so fair. What are you even doing?!" Kail growled, swimming around them to see the victim- a Feebas, who looked frightened and defiant. Kail waddled closer to the Feebas, but the Pokemon shrunk back. “Hey, I’m not going to hurt you...”
[I don’t want your help! I don’t want your pity either,] the Feebas snapped.
The Carvanha, who had been baring his teeth at the other Pokemon, turned about to look at the Feebas. [Hey, we’re just trying give you a hand.] Well, Kail was, so Murai was stuck doing it too.
The Feebas shook her head, flailing about. [I don’t want you to! Go away!] she snarled at Murai.
The Goldeen gave a chuckle. [Alright, Selkie,] she stated, glancing at the Feebas. [We’ll let you stay in the reef, and we won’t beat you too much- but first you have to this human and his pet.]
[I’m no pet, and I don’t want to fight y-]
[Fine!] the desperate Feebas, presumably Selkie, yelled.
Kail blinked, treading water. “Did we just enter a gang war?”
The Feebas reared back, apparently readying for a major attack... and then performed Splash. The mocking laughter of other Pokemon set Murai’s teeth on edge. Without waiting for a prompt, he Bite Selkie, shoving them both several away from the rest, pushing them behind the rock.
Kail following, kicking through the water. When he arrived behind the rock, he heard Murai pleading in an undertone, [You don’t want to do this; all you know is Splash- oof!]
Apparently, the Feebas knew Tackle, too. Still, the attack wasn’t that effective. Murai shook himself off, and use Bite once again.
The Feebas wasn’t looking too good, and flinched when the teeth dug into her. The Carvanha attacked again, but this time, he used Rage, crashing lightly into Selkie- the Feebas was still weak, but not out for the count yet.
Kail decided to interrupted the battle, speaking directly to Selkie. “Look, do you really want to stay in a place where you get mobbed by a bunch of crazy people who hate you?”
[They don’t hate me...]
[Well, they’re jerks,] Murai said firmly. [Why don’t you come with us?] It wasn’t to hard to see where Kail was going with this.
Selkie glanced up. [But... you hurt me. And why would you want me to come along with you? I’m nothing special...]
[You started it!]
Kail, pretending he was a mediator, raised his hands. “Come on, it’ll be fun! And I don’t take to calling my Pokemon freaks,” he remarked fiercely. He pulled a Pokeball out of his sopping wet bag, glad he’d left most of his stuff back on the mainland. “Please?” he said, with a charming smile.
[Please?]
Finally, Selkie nodded, shutting her eyes. [I hope this doesn’t hurt...]
Kail threw the ball at the Feebas, who was sucked into the ball. It floated in the water, shaking. And after three shakes, it was clear that the Pokemon was caught! And, Kail realized with surprised, he’d just used the Shiny Ball, meaning that he’d just turned his newest Pokemon into a Shiny. “Cool!”
Murai swam over to Kail, helping his trainer get moving. [Let’s get out of here, I don’t like this place...]
[Hey!] The Goldeen and her gang had come around to see what had happened. [What do you think you’re doing?]
“Leaving...?”
The Goldeen growled menacingly. [Oh, no you aren’t. We can’t allow humans to know where we live. Let’s get them!]
“Gah!” With a flick of his hand, he released Selkie. She now had a glimmer to her scales, and was a couple shades darker. “Help us!”
Whether it was her new friends or her new coat, Selkie wasn’t afraid. Darting to the left and under a hunk of coral, she wiggled for Murai to follow. Taking a deep breath and clinging to Murai, Kail and his partner kept up, having no idea where Selkie was taking them. They were in another current now, this one hopefully taking them away from the crazy Pokemon (who’s yells could be heard behind them), and back to the shore.
What felt like hours later, Kail and Murai surfaced. The sky above them was slowly getting brighter and brighter- the dawn was coming. Selkie hovered to the side. [Are... are you two okay? I didn’t know how long humans could survive without air...]
Kail grinned. “I’m good. Thanks, Selkie, you saved us.”
Murai nudged Selkie, [You did good, mate.]
Selkie blushed in embarrassment. [It was n-n-nothing. We’re close to the Valor Lakefront... is there where you cam from?]
Kail nodded. “Yup, now, let’s go home and go to sleep.” ---- Pokemon Use: Carvanha (Murai) Items use: 1x Shiny Pokeball

Pokemon: Any non-evolved, non-legendary water-type (Feebas)

I really enjoyed reading this mission! Not only did it have a fairly interesting story behind it, (which, admittedly, many don’t) but the writing was also well thought-out, and there was plenty of detail. Now, for the battle. I liked that you went for the mid-point between anime style and game style, and it didn’t seem like a one-sided battle at all, which was mainly what I was worried about from the start. However there is only one problem that I have with it—Feebas doesn’t have the ability to learn Rage. This is a level one mission, though, and the rest of it was excellently written, so I’ll let this one slide~ Over all, an excellent mission. Keep the 400 PD, the Feebas… And go ahead to the ranks list and request a rank-up with my permission, ‘cause I thought this mission was really good, especially for a level one mission. ^_^

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission: Hunters, Seekers of Prey (Attempt 3) Hunters have always been known as the Brute Force of the Underground world network. Relying on confronting their target from afar with rifles or bows and arrows. But I have a different type of entrance mission for you.
Objectives: Bring the Pokémon back without harm. I saw it last Tuesday while roaming the forest: a shiny Ponyta. Any damage done to it upon return means instant failure. You may use any ball for capture and you are forbidden to go to a PC or Pokémon Center. Good Luck.
Reward: Pokémon Hunter Special Rank + 500-2500 PD -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tommy was walking around HQ, when he saw a mission up for grabs. But it was posted instead of a message on his TADS. He spent 5 minutes copying the mission to his TADS, and left strolling away to his room, whistling the tune that says 'I didn't do/see anything...' After a bit of packing, Tommy left on his way. Teleporting out to the beach, and calling out Krabby, he began to surf to Sinnoh.
Tommy and his Krabby reached the beach near Pastoria Town. He had a long travel to do. Knowing Krabby was tired, he was returned to his ball for a nice long rest. The determined kid on the beach started his long trek to the Eterna Forest. "Why didn't it say what forest he saw it in?" Tommy complained to himself quietly as he started walking. After a long travel starting from the beach he was at, which went through Pastoria, Oreburg, Jubilife, and Floroma, to the middle of Eterna Forest. Finally there, he came to a clearing. He looked around hopingly, but there were no Ponyta in sight, let alone a shiny.
After the long journey back to the beach where he'd started from, he went a little further to a hotel complex up a long flight of stairs.
"Would you like to stay here? It seems you don't have a reservation. You can rest over there if you want." The receptionist said as Tommy exhaled deeply in acknowledgement. "Thank you~" he said exasperatedly.
Exhausted after his long trip, he stretched out on the couch in the lounge for a quick rest. One to three more to go... he sighed loudly. A little while later, he then set off on Krabby (again) to their next destination... Hoenn.
After Hoenn, he went to Johto. After Johto, Kanto. but still no luck. Then it hit him. And literally, a light bulb came out of nowhere and smashed into Tommy's head. He was lucky he hadn't got any shards of glass stuck in his forehead or something. Facepalming, he grabbed hold of Krabby again and told him to head back towards Aquos Island.
The only thing he needed to do was to catch that shiny Ponyta. When he landed on the beach, he recalled Krabby for a nice long rest. and told him good job. The crab wouldn't be able to battle at all after both of their long trips at sea. Instead of walking or running to the forest, he did something else. He used his hover board (which he had completely forgotten about) to ride into the forest. Badly misjudging the quick ride, he sped into the nearby rocks, and plummeted to the forest floor. He landed with a sickening crunch, and lay in a heap in the middle of the forest. He slipped into unconsciousness...
When the dizzy boy woke up, he realized he was being dragged by his collar. As Tommy looked over his shoulder, he saw a Ponyta. He happened to noticed the blue mane. The shiny he was after. His sudden involuntary head movement spooked the Ponyta, causing it to let go of his collar to run off. Of course, since the red all over boy (his clothes silly wink ) was being dragged, his head was dropped to the floor of the forest, causing him more un-necessary pain. He got up with a groan, still pretty bashed up by his stupidity, rock, trees ground, and everything else in this forest. He looked at the tracks of the Ponyta as it sped off in that one direction... Tommy rested for no more than half of a nano-second to rush off after it.
After awhile of trying to track down the shiny, he found it hiding in some brush, fifteen long strides at a twelve o'clock angle, straight ahead. Tommy was about to call out his Tangela, when a net came out of nowhere, heading straight for the Ponyta. Tommy released Tangela, and a quick Vinewhip grabbed the net, yanking it back towards Tommy. After shoving the net into his bag, he heard a loud curse. Luckily, the Ponyta also heard the cursing, and ran off, deeper into the forest. Tommy heard another loud curse, and then footsteps coming his way. Tommy ran towards the man, staying within the bushes and trees. Then he stuck his foot out. "C**P!" the man yelled as he fell on his face, probably breaking his nose in the process. "GRAH!! WHO DID THAT!!" the man yelled loudly. Tommy stepped out of the brush to confront the man. "Ooh, sorry 'bout that. You see, I had tripped, feet slipping, and I might have ju--" "SHUT UP! YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!" the man ranted loudly, interrupting Tommy's lie. Tommy shrugged, side-stepping a punch, and maneuvering around the man to trip him, having the man land on his back. He was a horrible liar. "Well, what are YOU doing HERE?" Tommy asked. The man shrugged. "Touché. Same reason you're here, if I'm correct." "Touché yourself". Tommy answered, fingering his Pokéballs. The man noticed, throwing out a Nincada. Tommy threw out his Pokémon, Lairon. The battle seemingly unfolded.
Order: Lairon, Nincada.
Lairon started with an immediate Metal Sound, lowering Nincada's defense. Fury Swipes countered, though it didn't hurt much. Another Screeching of Metal. Nincada tried a Bug Buzz, though that didn't too much more. Now, a well aimed Iron Head fainted the little Bug type.
The man quickly recalled his Pokémon and hightailed it in the direction of the Ponyta. Tommy followed in pursuit. A couple of minutes later, both came to the Ponyta. And yet, the fighting trainer jumped the man from behind, choking him to the ground, and maneuvering, yet again, on top of him. "I WANT A NAME, AND I WANT IT NOW! WHO ARE YOU!!" Tommy bellowed at the man, enraged that he was hunting down the Ponyta (though he was hunting it down himself). "And how did you find this island?!" The man remained silent. Reaching back, Tommy let loose a punch that knocked him senseless. "Tobias..." The man muttered, massaging his jaw. He then did a back roll/flip/catapult that sent Tommy flying into the foliage. He ran after the fire pony again, only to be paralyzed by the breath of a Dragon. "Good job, Vibrava." Tommy recalled his dragonfly. 'Tobias' groaned as he reached for one of his Pokéballs. He sent out his Vibrava. Only, Tommy's Vibrava had the upper hand in tactics, taking a Dragon Breath, and using a powerful Draco Meteor to end it all too quickly.
The man then sent out his Charmeleon as his final Pokémon. "NOW WHAT, PUNK!?" Tommy shrugged, returned Vibrava, and sent out Poliwag. "You tell me." the smug trainer replied, angering 'Tobias'. The Battle had just begun.
Order: Poliwag, Charmeleon
A Bubblebeam shot out to strike Charmeleon hard, knocking it backwards, stumbling. It countered with a Dragon Rage, doing a solid 40 points of damage. Poliwag, in return, used another Bubblebeam. And so it went. Damage after damage after damage towards both sides, until finally, exhausted, Charmeleon let loose a Dragon Claw, sending the surprised Tadpole into the air, met by a spiraling Fire-spin, no room for speed or order. Poliwag was returned before further harm.
Horsea was immediately sent out in Poliwag's place. Horsea made quick work of a thoroughly exhausted lizard with a well aimed Hydro Pump, pushing it into its trainer with such force that both were knocked out, soaked, and probably both in tremendous pain. Tommy made quick work of tying them up, aiming where he thought a ship might be, and after Charmeleon returned itself in time, 'Tobias' was sent out over the ocean, carrying a small electrical pulse that would somehow wipe out Aquos' location. While Tommy rested, Vibrava went to find the shiny that had, again, again (put this way intentionally), wandered off. Tommy set off for the last time that day to catch that danged Ponyta!!
As Tommy neared the Ponyta, it took off towards the volcano crater, much to Tommy's disbelief. He sped after it, immediately using his hover board, making navigation a bit easier. As Tommy came closer and closer near the shiny, he could see where the once-thick trees had been burned away, some embers and flames remaining. Horsea's Brine left a wake behind Tommy, putting out the flames, but somehow KO'ed a bunch of other weak wild Pokémon. The Hunter wanna-be cranked his speed up higher, trying to now catch the fire pony.
Soon, Tommy arrived at the pit, not seeing the Ponyta anywhere. A loud, urgent neighing broke the silence as it rushed over the edge into the small crater. Tommy dove in after it, throwing an Aqua Ball to try and save it, only to get the ball back in his face. The downward momentum wouldn't allow him to throw the ball. The Pokémon and human fell faster and faster, almost at the bottom, temperature increasing. In last minute action, Tommy sped up to his highest possible speed, rushing downward past the neighing horse, and letting go of the Aqua Ball. The shiny was enveloped into the ball. One... Two... Three....... Click! Tommy sharply pulled up, just in time to avoid smashing into the floor. The Ponyta's ball came and smashed into Tommy's head, knocking him on his butt, but landing in his hands. He had finally captured the stubborn Ponyta.
Arriving out of the crater, Tommy was sweating and panting. A quick dive got Tommy to the teleporter. After one long sigh, Tommy finally went through it, extremely exhausted. He was about ready for a small power nap. He had finally completed the hunter mission.

A Planner for a Scanner (lvl. 1 mission)
Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to the Abandoned Ship and get the scanner. The scanner should be near the back of the ship, but some of the passageways may be flooded.
Pokémon: Feebas
Funds upon completion: 400
~*~ 'So, all I have to do is retrieve a scanner, eh?' Mused the elvish girl with the snowy seafoam hair and ocean eyes as she leaned forward: across the banister, on a uncrowded ferry, in the middle of the sea route between Dewford and Slateport, where she was to somehow get to the Abandoned Ship, which was getting closer and closer as the ride dragged on. The waves crashed against the vessel she was on; sea salt breezed through her long locks, revealing her pointed ears at times. It wasn't like people noticed- they were too busy chatting away with friends to pay her any mind. It was better this way, of course- no one to ask her who she is. Or what she was to do next. As soon as she affirmed that the ferry is going to be at the closest its ever going to be around the Abandoned Ship, she climbed the railing and dove into the tropical waters. Aurelia was prepared for this; all she wore was a simple, white tankini with teal ribbon detail and a ruffled, skirted bottom piece. All the equipment she had on her person was her TADS, her newly purchased Port-A-Bubble, her two Pokémon, and one empty Pokéball. She packed light because she didn't expect the mission to take long at all. Aysu - her Squirtle - was in the water as Aurelia surfaced, Port-A-Bubble worn around the half-elf's head. Wanting to get there quickly, she grabbed onto the aquatic turtle and started to head for the oversized wreck. She went in. ~*~ The hallways of a once pristine and highly accoladed vessel were weathered, moldy, and dingy. They were dim, also, and the only light in this place was through the giant gaping hole overhead near the entrance, and the pin holes throughout the corridors. She doesn't quite know how sturdy this place is, but if it had held for this long, she should have nothing to worry about. Her ears wiggled in an attempt to hear signs of life - everything was dead quiet except for her breathing. 'Good. No competition for the scanner.'As she went deeper and deeper in, she noticed that the ship was going in a downwards slope towards the back, and Aurelia was so sure of the presence of deep water- SPLOOSH!-that she fell into it when she wasn't paying attention. Aysu tried to stifle a laugh as she followed her mistress into the depths of the blue. Underwater was... breathtaking, even as the half-elf could breathe with her rounded headgear. Pokémon swam past her in schools: the Barboach, the Magikarp, the Wailmer. She was wrong about the ship having no life; in fact, it was practically brimming with it. She found that she could spend all day here looking at all the fish Pokémon. Yet, she was a girl with a mission, and had to press on towards the back. Yet, unbeknownst to her, she was being followed. ~*~ She soon surfaced into a small cabin, fully furnished and dusty. "It just has to be here; I just know it!" Exclaimed the girl as she rummaged through the dresser drawers, and ransacked the bed. Nothing of importance. Yet, she couldn't seem to shake the feeling that there was something here. Pacing back and forth she pondered as her Squirtle decided to take matters in her own hands and search more thoroughly within this room. Aysu tripped over something beneath the carpet. "Eh, what is it, Aysu? What did you find?" She turned towards her partner in crime and motioned for her to get off of the area rug to aid her trainer in rolling it away. It revealed a piece of technology, almost recent, yet covered in filth. She assumed that this was waterproof, because upon closer inspection, it seemed to be relatively intact and in perfect working order. It had a screen, some buttons and some sort of scanning apparatus on it- -wait a sec. "...This is it! The Scanner!" She gave a great cheer at this. This means that the mission is done, finished as soon as she gets off this vessel. As soon as she gets off this vessel... ...As soon as she... She turned back to where she came in from, with hands outstretched at her latest accomplishment. Yet, before she could dive back in the passageway, something jumped up from the water and knocked the scanner from out of her hands. And with that, PLOP! the scanner sinks down into the depths of the ship. Aurelia glared at her assailant, for making her mission more complicated than it needs to be. A Feebas giggles. "That is not funny!" Aurelia growled through gritted teeth, as the Feebas gained amusement from the half-elf's plans being thwarted. Aysu mirrored the irritation of her trainer's; what does this... thing... think it is? Aurelia stood back and took out Oddish's PokéBall. "Oddish, nail this vagrant with a Petal Dance!" The female commanded as the Oddish spun around, releasing pink petals in her wake. They hit the Feebas with a fair bit of damage. And this is when the ugly fish attacked. It was almost poetic, this fish. It bravely "stood" its ground, striking back with a Tackle and then subsequently a Flail as the Oddish kept up tempo on the Petal Dances... right until the Oddish ceased fire and then stumbled around, confused. Though weakened, the Feebas couldn't help but grin a fishy grin at this spectacle. Then, it K.O'ed the Oddish with its strongest Flail, power had increased when it was at the edge of health. "Ooh, I just don't have the time for this!" She exclaimed, her sense of calm long dissipated at the face of the Feebas, whom of which was smiling. In an attempt to bring her calm back, she took a few deep breaths. "C'mon, Asyu. This fish isn't worth our time. Let's find another way out of here..." She turned in the opposite direction towards the cabin door. Her hand lingered on the doorknob, surprised to see it unlocked. The Feebas gave a whine, which made the girl spin around. "What now?! Oh..."The Feebas was truly sorry at this point. With sad eyes and trembling lips, the Feebas whined even louder, not wanting to see the ship's intruders go. And it was at that moment, Aurelia saw the fish's true nature. It didn't try to infuriate her because it was a pest; it tried to infuriate her because it was so lonesome. Looking back, Aurelia now remembers the schools of water Pokémon- which didn't contain any Feebas. If the Feebas didn't interfere, it wouldn't have been noticed. It just wanted some attention. The girl sighed, and approached the despairing fish. "You're very lonely, aren't you. On this ship..." The Feebas bobbed up and down in its equivalent of a nod. "Alright... I won't leave you. But you'll have to promise me that you won't interfere with my plans again, and that you come back with me." She thought for a minute. "Oh, and that is if you get the scanner back for me, okay? The thing you knocked out of my hands earlier?"The Feebas retreated back into the water, and a few short moments later, it emerged with the scanner in its mouth. It swam up to the edge and set it down before the half-elf, eyes expecting. "Thank you." she whispered to the Feebas as she picked up the device and clipped it onto her bathing suit. She whipped out the empty Pokéball and set it before the fish, enlarged with the center button facing it. "If you please...?" The Feebas happily pressed against the ball. A light bathed it in its glow and sucked it into the orb. A few wobbles in the water later, it ceased with a confirming 'ding'. The Feebas was caught, the scanner attained. There should be no further interruptions. "Let's go, Aysu." The trainer replied after sweeping the ball into her arm and jumping in to leave the ship. ~*~ After backtracking, she reached the ship's entrance again, taking out her TADS- "Um, could someone send me a ride?"- and calling up someone to come pick her up. It was going to be a little bit more of a wait, but she could manage it now. In her mind, it was mission complete. ~*~

~*~ I enjoyed reading this mission. ^_^ It was very detailed, and there were an exemplary amount of descriptive words that we don't often see in our new members. The story was in-depth, and you stayed to the basic outline of the mission like requested while still adding life to the mission. And the battle was awesome, too, as it wasn't too short or one-sided; I have to admit, I've never seen the names of moves bolded like that before. It's over-all a really great mission. The only thing that I would look out for is hwo you caught the pokemon-- It's not a problem for it to be a mutual agreement, but just remember that not all pokemon will be as willing, so don't try that card too often. ^_^ Keep the Feebas, 400 PD, and a rank-up. (You'll have to go to the ranks page and request it, though, because I don't have editing powers)

Flame On! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Memo wandered aimlessly around the entire pokemon world interviewing trainers and Gym Leaders.
“In your opinion, what is the best fire type pokemon?”
He wasn’t very fond of fire pokemon but he figured that he could give them another chance. He had his Kirlia teleport him to Pewter City.
[Flashback]
“Ahehe…yay!”
A young boy frolicked happily in a playground with other children. The children played for hours as the sun finally started to set. All the other children had already left, but one young boy was left behind. He was about to walk home when mysterious figures appeared.
[End]
Memo walked into the Pewter City Gym.
“Heyy Brock hehe. Long time no see huh?”
Brock turned around to see his old buddy Memo. They met while Memo was Contest training in the Kanto region and Brock had helped with an appeal for Memo’s Skitty. He greeted the Aqua Trainer with a bright smile and a hug.
“Heya! What brings you back to Pewter City Memo?”
The two boys took a walk around town as Memo explained his situation.
“I see…hmmm. I personally think Charmander, Cyndaquil, or Torchic. They have a good balance of speed and power.”
Memo took mental notes and simply smiled and nodded as Brock gave his advice. The two ended their walk back at the Pewter Gym and with that Memo and Brock said their goodbyes. Memo once again teleported, this time to New Bark Town.
[Flashback]
The figures now rushed towards the boy. He wasn’t really scared, more curious than anything, so he quickly hid behind a slide.
“…”
He stayed completely silent as the figures now made their identities obvious.
“M..Magmar and Rap-rapidash…”
All the boy could do as the two tried to rip each other to shreds right in front of him was shake and watch in horror.
[End]
Memo walked to Marina’s house. The two were close because of how many Contests they had competed in together. She was a deadly combination of power and cuteness. He strolled up to her house, knocked on the door and…..and when no one answered he knew where to go.
“Ahehe, off to the Goldenrod Dept. Store.”
The young boy walked rather slowly to Goldenrod City. He noticed all the scenery that way. The fields, the sky, the water, the people, and of course the pokemon. By the time he knew it, Memo was in Goldenrod City. He sighed once again and walked into the dept. store. Sure enough there was Marina. Shopping…again.
“Ahehe.”
All Memo did was giggle and that’s all it took.
“Memo?”
Marina twirled around and practically tackled Memo to the floor.
“N i c e t o s e e y o u t o o…Marina.”
Memo said as his faced turned blue.
“Oh my gosh!! Memo it’s been wayyy to long my love. How have you been?”
Marina’s upbeat and cheerful attitude perked Memo up right away and the two strolled around the dept. store picking out seals and outfits. Memo eventually explained his situation to Marina and it didn’t take her long to give him her thoughts.
“Vuuulllpppiiixxx hehe. I think that is the best way to go. Power and adorableness! Come on hehe!”
Memo took note of what she had to say as he nodded once more and ended their conversation at the balcony.
“Alrighty Marina, let’s keep in touch kay.”
Memo said happily as he hugged Marina goodbye. Once again he teleported off to Lavaridge Town.
[Flashback]
It didn’t take long for the ravaging pokemon to smash up against the slide where the young boy was hiding.
“AHH!!”
The slide broke apart like confetti and the pokemon landed on the boy. Their constant struggling and flames injured the boy until he was rendered unconscious from sheer pain and fear.
[End]
The boy landed right smack dab in the middle of Lavaridge Town, where the person he came to see was conveniently located.
“Hey Flannery!”
The boy waved happily as he walked towards her.
“Hey Memo! How ya doin kid haha!”
She yelled from as they inched closer and closer. Memories of Flannery and Memo danced through Memo’s head. The young girl coming to visit the young boy while he was in town. The two met with a hug as Memo lifted her up and spun her around.
“Ahaha, so what do ya need Memo?”
“I needed a specialist hehe.”
Memo responded with a nervous giggle. Memo once again explained the predicament he was in and it didn’t take long for Falnnery to get serious.
“If ya want speed, id go with Torchic or Chimchar. Defense, Torkoal. Power, Charmander. And Sp. Defense…Cyndaquil.”
Memo sighed happily as he took in all the information like a little sponge inside a bowl of water.
“Are you sure you want to do this Memo….I mean after-“
She was cut off by a quick hug from Memo.
“Yea…don’t worry okay. I’ll be fine.”
Memo released Flannery and he was about to teleport away with his Kirlia until she she grabbed his shoulder and informed him about a little secret. Memo grinned and teleported away.
[Flashback]
The young boy woke up.
“…”
He stayed quiet and studied his surroundings. A cave like structure…and water. Warm water. The boy tried to move, but immediately was stopped by a sharp pain in his back.
“AHH!!”
He was rendered immobile as the pain ran across his body. He stayed still in the warm water and the comfort set in soon after. He then remembered what had happened to him.
“The…fire pokemon…”
The boy’s thought’s were interrupted by a girl’s voice.
“Ahaha, you’re awake huh? My name is Flannery and you were brought here so that your wounds can heal…you got roughed up pretty ugly huh?”
The boy just looked at the girl and nodded.
“What’s your name?”
The girl asked as she patted his head with a warm cloth.
“Memo…”
[End]
“Sunyshore City hehe.”
Memo skipped along the bustling city, looking for Flint. The boy was ready to finally have his first fire pokemon. It didn’t take long for Memo to find Flint, bright red hair and yellow shirt…come on.
“Hey…uhh Mr.Flint!”
Memo yelled through a crowd of people. Flint turned and walked towards Memo, smiling as if he knew the boy.
“Memo right?”
Memo’s head turned in confusion.
“Uhhh..how do you-“
“Flannery.”
Ahhh hehe. So you know?”
“Yes sir I do…and I think she made a good choice with you.”
“Ahehe, then lead the way.” Memo and Flint walked down a trail to a little house. All the while discussing a broad variety of topics. Contests, battles, pokemon, people, memories, Aqua, the Elite Four, and life.
“Here we are buddy. I’ll let you take it from here okay?”
Memo nodded and gave a cheerful grin.
“Remember…I see loads of potential in this pokemon here so don’t hold back.”
“Got it.”
Memo said reassuringly as he fixed his beret and readied a pokeball. Flintopened the door and out walks a Cyndaquil. Memo watches as he talks to the pokemon. The two laugh and Cyndaquil approaches Memo to shake his hand.
“Oh. Ahehe ok then.” Memo happily shakes with the Cyndaquil and then the battle begins.
Skitty VS Cyndaquil ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cyndaquil starts off with a Smokescreen.
“Ok Peep…stay on you toes!”
The Skitty stays vigilant as she waits for Cyndaquil to make it’s move. And sure enough the Cyndaquil dives in with a devastating Flame Wheel hitting Peep dead on.
“Ah! Thunder Wave!”
As Skitty rolled in the air from the attack, she let loose a Thunder Wave spinning in unison with her almost looking like a one handed clock. It hit the Cyndaquil and paralyzed it as it struggled to move.
“Now Zen Headbutt!” Peep’s head glowed a bright purple as she zoomed in on the Cyndaquil, leaving a purple streak behind her. As she closed in the hit connected and pushed the Cyndaquil back quite a ways. It the retaliated with a well timed Ember that showered on Skitty, and an even better timed Quick Attack that connected beautifully.
“Wow…”
The Skitty was roughed up, but not down.
“Finish it! Sing!”
Peep once again rushed, but this time she decided to jump and Sing while she was directly above him. The sing was unavoidable and sure enough the Cyndaquil was snoozing away.
“Follow up! Wake Up Slap!”
While Peep was still in the air her tail started to shine a very dazzling and bright pink. She thundered down on the Cyndaquil, breaking the earth beneath them.
“Yes! Now to-“
“NYAA!!”
To everyone’s surprise, Cyndaquil not only survived the attack, but it retaliated with a Crush Claw! Skitty was sent flying across the field and into a tree, but the cat would not give up. The two pokemon wobbled as they stood up. They took deep breaths, stared, and finally Cyndaquil tried to end it withan Ember.
“Swift!”
The small flames collided with the stars almost equal in power, until Cyndaquil was rendered completely immobile due to Paralysis. The Cyndaquil was then caught in a storm of stars as the Swift engulfed it. Once it was over Memo wasted no time in throwing his pokeball.
“1..2…3!”
Memo ran to hug his Skitty and grab his new pokemon inside of its pokeball. He turned to Flint who was speechless.
“Wow! That was amazing…I knew you’d be a great choice haha.”
And with that Memo said his goodbyes, walked back to the Pokemon Center and rested with a hopeful smile newfound trust for fire pokemon.

Sairaku Flame On! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You're lucky I have this mission's prompt memorized, or I would have failed it instantly XD I like the way it's set up, unique and nice. I'm not sure if that's what the gym leaders would actually say, and the stat allusions seem right if I remember them correctly. -Bulbapedia isn't loading- Anyways, good mission, take 800 PD and the Cyndaquil. And a rank up to Tier 4 Alpha Scout. Cause these things haven't happened in like...forever. And you've been active enough to deserve it. O_o E E P S T E R ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission: Hunters, Seekers of Prey (Attempt 3) Hunters have always been known as the Brute Force of the Underground world network. Good Luck. Reward: Pokémon Hunter Special Rank + 500-2500 PD ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fail. Recheck the battle. What does Metal Sound do? The paragraph where Horsea is sent out is confusing in my opinion, maybe two separate paragraphs and explain a bit more? The capture still seems a bit...corny and uncreative to me. Try reading the mission out loud and checking for errors that way, some syntactical parts are off and confusing.

MISSION- Fearow of Water
A group of Fearow have been harassing travelers near the Power Plant. To make things worse, they have our emblem on their legbands. Naturally, we're getting blamed for it. Go and stop the Fearow (fight 3-5) and bring back one of the legbands.
Pokemon obtainable: Bellsprout Oddish Machop Spearow
Rewards: 600-1200 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Memo slowly crept along the edge of the land, almost wading in the water. He scanned his surroundings vigilantly, always taking note of what happened to be in the sky and in the grassy area around him.
"Who could do this to us...and why would the Fearow act that way..."
As the boy continued to walk and speak to himself he noticed some rustling in some bushes to the right. Immediately he somersaulted behind a tree and watched the shuffling grass.
"Bellsprout?"
Memo continued to watch the Bellsprout. It didn't seem aggressive in any way, but still...Memo had to be careful.
"AAHHH!!!"
As the boy was watching the Bellsprout a group of Bird Catchers were running for their lives. To avoid being seen, Memo immediately climbed up the tree. The Bellsprout was able to dodge the trampling of feet but only by putting itself out in the open...where low and behold! The Fearow appeared. He scanned them up and down finally seeing what was the big deal. Those damn Aqua legbands on them.
"Tch! Mean people and their ways of making Aqua look bad..."
As the boy muttered under his breath he noticed that the, already agitated Fearow, spotted the Bellsprout and now set their sights on it!
"No!"
Quickly Memo jumped out of the tree and flipped towards the Bellsprout. He landed right by it's side and scooped it up. As soon as he had the Bellsprout cradled in his arms he dove into the one of the denser grassy areas and hid.
"Ok little one, wait here and don't move ok?"
Memo's calming voice and warm smile made the Bellsprout feel safe and it did just what Memo asked.
"Good hehe."
Memo continued to watch as the Fearow flew above them. He waited for a chance to attack and soon enough the group of Fearows turned their back.
"Now."
Memo popped out of the dense grass and was quick to release his Eevee, Paz, and Smoochum, Jolie.
"Quick, Paz use Double Team to distract the group while I single them out."
The Eevee nodded his head. It dashed in front in front of the Fearows and used Double Team, creating a rather shocking amount of copies.
"Now hide!"
Once the copies were in place and the Fearows took the bait, Paz jumped into the bushes and continued casting illusions from there.
"Okay Jolie here we go."
Smoochum VS Fearow 1 of 5
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Powder Snow."
Memo said as he pointed to one of the Fearows. Jolie takes a deep breath and exhales a blast of icy wind at it. The Fearow turns and wastes no time in attacking her with a Peck attack. The hit connects with Jolie, but Jolie's able to brush off the attack as she spins, regaining her ground.
"Ahehe now Avalanche!!"
Memo knew that this combination was deadly. Ice is strong against Flying Types and because Jolie was just hit, its power was doubled. The Smoochum continued to spin, creating a large snowball around herself. She finally jumped above the Fearow and released the massive amount of snow it, crushing the Fearow under the Avalanche and KO'ing it.
"Good job, Jolie hehe. Take a rest now kay."
Memo withdrew his Smoochum and sent out Azura, his Nidoran (F).
Nidoran (F) VS Fearow 2 of 5 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Okay girl, Poison Sting."
Memo once again pointed out to a Fearow and Azura launched a flurry of purple spikes at it. This time the Fearow turned and aimed a Steel Wing at Azura. As the Fearow flew in for it's attack, it missed Azura by a horn.
"Yes! Now Skull Bash!"
The Nidoran (F) jumped back and lowered her head readying her attack and raising her defense. The Fearow took this opportunity to use a Fury Attack, hitting 3 times, while getting poisoned on the second.
"Now!"
Azura sprang into action and took off like a Zubat out of Mt.Ember! The attack blew away the Fearow, but wasn't enough to take it down. It came in aiming a Drill Peck, but as soon as it moved the poison was able to run it's course KO'ing the second Fearow. The group of Fearows being distracted by Paz finally noticed what was happening and this time 2 flew towards Memo.
"Ahehe finally. Peep and Gaspar take the lead!"
Memos' Skitty, Peep, and his Gastly , Gaspar, prepare for battle.
Skitty and Gastly VS Fearows 3 and 4 of 5 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Fearows come in strong, each using a Drill Peck aimed at both of Memo's pokemon.
"Quick Peep, use Protect and Gaspar follow up with a Payback!"
The Skitty summoned a green bubble to protect her from the incoming Drill Peck. While Gaspar took the heavy damage from the Drill peck, then using it's own energy against it by attacking with Payback causing double the damage. The pair of Fearows decided to set both of their sights on Gaspar, to bad they both went in with a Fury Attack.
"Hehe now corner them with a Swift Dark Pulse Combination!"
As the two Fearows passed through Gaspar he quickly managed to phase right back in front of them. He released a Dark Pulse on the undamaged Fearow, while Skitty from behind them unleashed a star shower pummeling both of them. One of the Fearows fell to the ground and was KO'd while the other managed to hang barely hang on. It stayed flinched from Gaspar's Dark Pulse and Memo took full advantage of this.
"Swift and Thunder Punch Combination!"
Skitty ran behind Gastly and once again unleashed a Swift that phased through the Gastly's body, while it's body sparked with electricity. This caused Peep's Swift to become electrified and super-effective against the Fearow taking it down.
"Great teamwork you two hehe. Take a rest."
Memo withdrew both Skitty and Gastly and ran over to where the last Fearow was.
Eevee VS Fearow 5 of 5 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Now Paz Bite!"
The Fearow still focused on the many Eevee copies didn't notic him jumping from out of the bushes. It clamped down on Fearow's wing and didn't let go. The Fearow screeched in pain and Pecked away at him in attempts to knock him off.
"Now Iron Tail!"
Paz released Fearow and used the momentum from the moving wing to go high in the air where it readied it's attack. It spun down, tail shining and as hard as steel, and crashed it om the Fearow's head. The Fearow plummeted to the earth, it cracked beneath it. It struggled to get back up, but it did and managed to attack with an Assurance, but missed!
"Ha! Now Quick Attack!"
As the Fearow tried to flap away, Paz zoomed towards it with blinding speed. It knocked Fearow with great force on it's back ending the battle. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hehe thank you so much Paz."
Memo withdrew his Eevee and walked over to each Fearow removing the legbands.
"1..2...3...4....5. There we go."
Once he had all the legbands he grew curious.
"I wonder what made them act that way?"
He clipped one of the legbands on his wrist ans as soon as he moved it a shock was sent through his body.
"Hey! Ouch ouch ouch!"
He quickly removed the legband from his wrist and stuck all 5 of them in his pouch.
"That explains it all..."
The boy continued to talk to himself when he heard the grass nearby rustle.
"The Bellsprout hehe!"
Memo quickly ran over and told the Bellsprout everything was ok no. The two made their way out of the grass. When Memo had already started to walk away, Bellsprout grabbed onto his pant leg and made it clear that it wanted to come along.
"Hehe ok...but we're gonna battle for it kay?"
The boy asked sweetly as he pat Bellsprout on the head, The Bellsprout happily agreed and prepared itself. Memo released his Ladyba, Cherise, and the battle began.
Ledyba VS Bellsprout --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Comet Punch!"
Cherise quickly started the battle off by beating up on Bellsprout 4 times. One the assult was over Bellsprout attacked with Wrap. It's vines extended to pull in Cherise and squeeze her.
"Hehe, sorry for this. Bug Buzz."
As Ledyba was being wrung out by Bellsprout, she managed to open her wings and move them so fast that it caused powerful vibrations to attack Bellsprout, heavily damaging it. Memo threw his pokeball and counted.
"1..2...3! Yay!"
He quickly went over to Cherise and the pokeball. He lifted up the ball before it disappeared to the PC.
"That was good Cherise. Rest now hehe."
He recalled his Ledyba and walked back to the Aqua HQ. Once he got inside he put the legbands in a box, labeled it..."Fearow's Legbands", put it in the living room, and went off to his room for a nap.

Sairaku MISSION- Fearow of Water A group of Fearow have been harassing travelers near the Power Plant. To make things worse, they have our emblem on their legbands. Naturally, we're getting blamed for it. Go and stop the Fearow (fight 3-5) and bring back one of the legbands. Pokemon obtainable: Bellsprout Oddish Machop Spearow Rewards: 600-1200 Hmmm, well there isn't much I can say about this aside from a few grammatical errors. And I didn't even know that Ghastly could use Thunderpunch, that made me go, "Waydaminute!" *checks serebii* There were maybe one or two punctuational errors that I had seen, misplaced commas and what not, easily overlooked. I say it's a pass, have fun with your new Bellsprout and your 1100 PD (100 knocked off due to those minor errors.)

MISSION- Clone Clearout Must complete Fearow of Water
The word in Lavender Town is that Team Aqua has been moving large amounts of equipment out of the Power Plant. But we don't have an installation there, so it can't be our doing.
I've looked over the legband recovered from the Fearow, and it looks like the work of Team Clone.
Your mission is to get inside the plant and find whatever is left of their operation. Bring back any documents you can get your hands on. Try to go unseen, but you might have to fight anyway. (Fight 0-3 guards with 1-3 pokemon each)
Pokemon: Any basic stage Electric or Ghost type
Funds: 1000-1800 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The moon shone brightly as it reflected off Memo's sunglasses/goggles. His hair dancing in the wind under his beret as he sped across the land to make his way towards Lavender Town. The scenery seemed to fly by him.
"-sigh- Dumb Team Clone...always trying to make us look bad..."
As the boy spoke under his breath, he noticed the edge of Lavender Town poking out from the horizon. The, almost non - existent, light that the town gave off permeated through the darkness. The neared the edge of the town and set his Aqua Bike DX there. He quickly crept his way into the town and then back out into the field, rolling, somersaulting, and zig-zagging.
"Now where are you again..."
The boy scanned the area from the very top of a tree looking for the powerplant that we were supposedly using to ship and move items. He spotted the powerplant after a few minutes and swiftly made his way back there, making sure his movements were fast and almost invisible. Eventually he was stealth walking on the side of the building peeking out from the corner.
"1...2..."
Memo quickly counted the amount of people keeping watch in front of the building.
"Hmmm it would cause unwanted attention if I battled them."
He looked up and noticed a small opening.
"Just get in and get the information Memo..."
The boy told himself whule he quietly let out his Kakuna, Soulja. He whispered to the Kakuna to use String Shot to latch itself onto the opening while he held onto him. The Kakuna nodded and spat a sticky string in the opening lifting itself and Memo up to it. The two wiggled and crawled their way through the space until they reached a small grating where they could see inside the plant.
"What the..."
Memo and Kakuna looked down to see a large machine.
"That kinda looks like that Team Rocket thingy..."
Soulja and Memo nodded in unison. Finally Memo quietly removed the grating and quietly jumped down into the room along with his Kakuna. There wasn't much in there now. It seems that Team Clone had been clearing out.
"Well nothing much to do now except gather data."
Memo once again quietly let out another pokemon, his Pachirisu, Fresa.
Once she was out of her ball next to Soulja she didn't skip a bat and opened her mouth to speak. Luckily Soulja thought ahead and as soon as she opened her mouth he put a light String Shot over it. It literally pained Memo to not laugh, but he had to hold it in.
"Mmfmffmm!"
Fresa was obviously shocked and infuriated by this as she mumbled away. Memo had to explain the situation to her before he peeled off the String Shot.
"Ohh ok~ You could've just told me silly~"
She said quietly. Memo pat both his Kakuna and Pachirisu on the head.
"Ok you two, we need to get in and out of place as quietly as possible. Soulja I need you to keep watch for us."
The Kakuna nodded and strung itself up onto the celing to keep watch.
"Good boy. And Fresa I need you to grab all the important papers you can while I go through their computer files."
"No problemo Memo hehe."
And with that Memo, Soulja, and Fresa did their jobs. Soulja kept a vigilant eye on the Pachirisu and his trainer making sure nothing went wrong. Fresa was zipping around the room picking up and quickly examining all the documents before stacking them in a pile in the center of the room. Memo was busy clicking and typing away at their computer looking for anything important, and when he did he transferred it to his TADS that was hooked up to the computer. By the time Fresa and Memo were down gathering all they could the floors and tables were nearly empty and Memo's TADS' memory was nearly full.
"Ahehe great job you guys."
Memo praised both of his pokemon. He returned Fresa before he unhooked his TADS and gathered all the papers to put them in his bag.
"Ok then Souja, if you'd as kind as to get us out of here hehe."
The Kakuna made a happy face as it pulled itself and Memo out of the room and back into the opening. They worked their way back outside. The moon and stars were shining brighter now. Once Memo and Soulja made it back out they were about to head back where Memo had parked his bike when they heard commotion from the entrance of the plant.
"Eh. What's going on?"
Memo and Soulja crept down and looked over the edge of the building. Their blood boiled and their faces cringed as the saw what was happening. A Team Clone operative was ganging up on an Electrike with his Golbat and Machop.
"Grr...we gotta do something."
Memo and Soulja dashed into battle.
Kakuna and Wild Electrike VS Golbat and Machop --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Memo jumped by Electrike's side and stared down the Team Clone goon.
"Hey Electrike...i'm here to help ok."
The Electrike watched Memo with slight nervousness and disdain, but allowed Memo to help.
"Humph hey kid stay outta this...it's none of your business."
The Team Clone goon said menacingly. He then did a double take noticing that Memo was from Team Aqua.
"Hehe. What's the matter?"
The boy said rather coldly and almost seductively.
"Ah! Quick Golbat, Bite!"
The Golbat swooped down Soulja and attempted to bite him, but as the bat got closer Electrike launched a Spark attack that almost ended it for the Golbat.
"Good job Electrike. Now, String Shot."
Kakuna quickly spat out a String Shot at Golbat getting it's wings all caught up in the string reducing it's speed. The goon took this time to order a Low Kick attack on Soulja. The hit connected, but lucky for Soulja he didn't weigh very much. He simply brushed off the attack while the Electrike used a Thunder Fang attack on the now slowed Golbat. The attack Ko'ed the Golbat.
"Wha!"
"Now Poison Sting!"
The Machop was still in a very close range to Kakuna so landing a critical hit wasn't hard. The purple barbs scattered all over it's body eventually poisoning the Fighting pokemon. Shortly after the Electrike attacked with a Crunch, dealing a superficial amount of damage.
"Hah! Cross Chop!"
The Machop chopped away at the Electrike that was still hanging onto it with it's jaws locked in place. It finally used a Thunderbolt before it was knocked off. Electrike no longer had the strength to battle.
"No!"
Memo yelled with worry. He then turned to glare daggers at the goon.
"Poison Sting!"
But before Soulja launched his attack the Machop fell over. It seems tha the poison and Thunderbolt took it's toll on it.
"Heh."
The goon withdrew both of his pokemon while Memo tended to the Electrike. But the battle wasn't over yet. The goon had sent out his Linoone.
"Let's end this...Gaspar!"
Gastly VS Linoone -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"!"
The goon obviously hadn't prepared for a Ghost Type.
"Uhhh...Slash?"
The Linoone hesitantly slashed the Gastly. Memo and Gaspar both chuckled as it simply fell through it.
"Hehe, Dark Pulse."
Gaspar let loose rings of darkness on the Linoone that pushed it all the way to a tree. Memo watched the goon sigh with discontent and order another Normal based attack.
"Headbutt.."
The Linoone once again reluctantly attacked Gaspar only to phase through it once again.
"End it. Thunderbolt."
Gaspar nodded. It's purple gas now grew a bluish- yellow and it released a flurry of lightning sparks all over Linoone Ko'ing the pokemon. The goon withdrew his pokemon and seemed to run for his dear life.
"Good job Gaspar. Take a rest hehe."
Memo withdrew his Gastly and was now holding the Electrike in his arms as he walked into Lavender Town to drop it off at the Pokemon Center. He waited there until Nurse Joy came back out to inform Memo that it was going to be just fine.
"Ahehe that's great."
Memo patted the Electrike once more before he headed out. As he mounted his bike the Electrike ran out after him and barked.
"Huh?"
It continued to bark and now Memo completely understood.
"Hehe, ok then...i'd be glad to have you as a partner.
And with that he opened a pokeball and let the Electrikre get in. The ball wriggled only for a moment before Memo smiled and rode off with his new friend, the moon shining bright. He quietly walked into the HQ, placed his TADS in front of Thard's room along with the documents and went off to bed.
