Hiba dared to look up only when she had calmed he raised his ears and righted. She wasn't going to like his answer, but it was enough she'd talk to him. He folded his own wings against his back. "I'm not sure, I can't forget about them because they, I feel responsible for them... but I." He paused looking to Seraphim. "I don't want you to leave..." his sentence trailed "And i.." He looked away. His heart had been pounding the entire time. He felt a loyalty to her he couldn't break... Maybe it wasn't loyalty but love, he had once loved his former mate. but she hadn't felt the same. but Here it was this feeling had returned but for Seraphim yet he couldn't say it aloud. He worried he'd hurt her... or she would just turn away thinking his feeling a false one.

Seraphim pressed her ears to her head. She was glad her back was to him, for she could no longer hold back the tears that threatened to burst forth at any moment. "I don't... want to leave you either." she said her voice barley above a whisper. "But I don't....." she paused, not wanting to say anymore. She didn't know how she would be able to deal with cubs period, let alone ones that belonged to a mystery lioness and a male she loved. Perhaps her feelings were selfish, but then thats all she ever really knew. Life was sooo much different down here upon the ground. To be selfish and jealous of another amongst the stars was a common practice. It divided those who were weak, and those who were strong.
So why did it feel so painful down here on earth?

She didn't want to leave either? His heart nearly leaped. It was no doubt the prospect of cubs that frightened her now. Though at the same time they frightened him. He didn't even know how to care for them. His own mother loved him, but he was far from her ideal son... his brother was much more ideal to Guen. He had no idea how to act around them... he pressed his ears against this skull and glanced behind him. He had to at least try they where after all partially his responsibility.
It tore him in two. He refused to cry, he couldn't. If he did Seraphim would as well, he didn't want to see her cry like that.
"I love you." he whispered he felt it in his entire being, he did love her, and from what he knew his feelings might be returned.

Eyes now suddenly wide, Seraphim turned her head slowly towards him, her entire body shivering as what he said sunk in. Her heart nearly stopped as she took a massive breath. Getting to her paws, she turned to face him fully, for a few moments struggling with what to say before her usual smirk spread across her muzzle. "Of course you do." she said in her normal teasing tone as she padded towards him and bumped his chin with the top of her head, pressing her muzzle into his mane. "Because I love you to." she revealed, for a few moments forgetting about the cubs as she was too wrapped up in how much comfort she found in him.

for a moment Hiba was unsure of how she would react. He couldn't help himself once he realized how he felt. He waited as she seemed to be struggling with her usual expression that fit her so well. he was relieved as she spoke seemingly to regain her normal persona. Hiba wrapped is paws around the lioness
"I'm.. so glad" he breathed truly greatful as his embrace tightened.
"Does that mean we can stay?" a mischievous voice came from the bushes nearby.
Damion bit his sisters tail.
"Owch!" She shot daggers at the frigid cub before her grin returned Kishi and leaped on the pair.
Damion just shook his head simply emerging from the bush. Kishi had dragged him back here...

Not at all liking being jumped on by the cub, Seraphim let out a hiss and clung to Hiba in both a way that suggested she was seeking shelter from this little monster and wanting to hog him all to herself. Her entire body told her to scream no but instead all she did was glare at Kishi. So far if she had to chose in a situation of life or death....she quite preferred the little boy.

Hiba was surprised as he heard the voices coming from the bush. They were back. He couldn't believe they came back. The cub landed on them both, he could feel Seraphim's grip tighten. "Yes you can stay but please." He insisted "Don't do that." Seraphim didn't like it that much was clear as she seemed to glare daggers back at the smirking cub. Hiba understood why too it was her nature after all. Hiba pulled the female cub off and placed her beside her brother again.
Kishi smirked back at Seraphim now she'd get to bug this lioness constantly. It would be fun. "Owch!"
Damion could sense his sister's thoughts from a hundred yards away... She just didn't get it. he stamped on her paw. They weren't going to be allowed to stay if Kishi drove their father's new mate over the wall.
"I am Damion, this" he motioned to his sister "Is Kishi I thank you for taking us in."

Seraphim narrowed her eyes at Kishi, thankful that Hiba told her never to do that again. Next time she couldn't guarantee she would keep her claws in check. Glancing at the male cub, she pointed at him with a claw. "You. I like you." She then glanced at his sister.... and promptly said nothing.

Kishi nodded, she'd think of something funner latter. She simply smirked back at the lioness when she said she wasn't liked. That was too damn bad Kishi was a famous trouble maker after all. All hell would break loose now.
Damion simply gave a nod.
Hiba nudged Seraphim "shall we continue the night is still young despite the delay." he smiled at her affectionately maybe it would get better when they found the waterfall..

Seraphim glanced at Hiba and nuzzled him. "As long as they remain here." she said with an irritated flick of her tail, pressing her ears flat to her head. She didn't want such a perfect night to be ruined by two little brats... or well one brat and one alright cub.

Though Damion at least didn't mind, except He'd actually have to put some effort into keeping Kishi away this time. That would be annoying.

Seraphim eyed Kishi for a moment longer before adjusting all of her wings and padding after Hiba, and rather close to him too. She did her best not to look back, after all she felt it was below her to do so, and instead focused upon him and the stars in the sky. He smelt really good too, and she was tempted to just bury her nose in his mane.

He paused waiting for her to be beside him if anything from now on they would walk this path together. Hiba continued with her her through the forest the sound of water falling became quite apparent. They continued closer the sound became more powerful in essence as the water came crashing down onto the pool below. "Here it is." Hiba smiled, moon flowers seemed to dot the meadow.
The waterfall was at least two stories high maybe larger, the moonlight caught the scattered water creating scattered rainbows throughout the area. It was a beautiful night on top of that.
"What do you think?" he turned to her and asked.

Seraphim blinked, her eyes wide, jaw open. It was almost as if she was standing at the base of an aurora itself. "Its... .amazing!" she said, a smile tugging at her jaws. "I want... to live here." she said, taking a step forward and gently touching a paw into the cold water.
