"THIS IS ANIMAL CRULTY! DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO ANIMALS IN THOSE SLAUGHTER HOUSES!? Do you know?" He was going to get her ranting.
"What!?" He shouted though he tried to disguise (though it was clear) that he had been the one to get her going.
"Oh I'll tell you! Sometimes they don't even do it properly! The cows are locked in shakles on conver belts and thrown into a chamber filled with blades set to slit their throat! But sometimes! Sometimes the cows struggles and blades miss so they get carved up alive!!!!!"
Landon went to cross his arms but he realized his hand was drenched in blood soooo, yeah he stopped himself pretty quick.
There was no stopping Gwen once she was on a rant so Landon quickly sauntered over to Charlie and, seeing as Dan's back was turned, pretened to stab the boy with the scapel.
Just for kicks.

Charlie rolled her eyes at Gwen as she ranted on. Judy eventually did too, going back to her lair... I mean, back room. To do whatever the hell she was doing back there.
And Landon made his way over to her, pretending to bash Dan in the back with a scaple. Charlie backed away from him and made a face at him.
"Take those gross a** gloves off, then you can stand by me," Yeah, blood was not her favorite when it wasn't human. Though, human blood wasn't her favorite either.. But disecting s**t was just nasty! Even guys could admit that!
"Ooookay?" She stuck her tongue out at him, smiling still.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Taking his hand she realized his smile was a bit distant, as though he wasn't paying much attention to her. What?!? That just couldn't be. Something had to be done! Walking with his hand intertwined with hers, Maddison vowed to prove to Jay that she was the only one in his life and that he should just forget Ms. Pretty Boy.
Once outside the door that lead to the Biology class, no doubt the class she would be ditching later, she turned to face him and smiled seductively.
Stopping short she wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. Her gloss lips mashed with his as she whispered against his lips. "Until later handsome."

How will I know the right way to love you? He sighed softly and squeezed her hand through his deep thoughts. It just wasn't the same with Charlie anymore. She felt distant to him. Heck, she was distant. That's only because she had a life. She had one, and so did he. Jay just didn't think he could ever get over her.
Maddison stopped otuside of the Bio room. She turned to face Jay, smiling seductively. Jay blinked and glanced into the classroom. There she was with her lab partner. Landon was teasing the heck of poor Gwen. He shook his head sadly. He felt arms slither around his neck. Jay turned too late. His lips mashed against Maddy's. He gasped softly and returned the kiss softly.
"Until later, handsome," she whispered against his lips.
Jay nodded dumbly, still thinking of Charlie. He smiled slightly at Maddy and ducked into the classroom.
If the past is the problem,

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jay didn't return the kiss in the way she would've liked but she didn't question him as he went inside the classroom. Making her way to math she thought about what would happen from here and until later that night. Something in her mind told her not to let her guard down and now as she walked alone she didn't think class was such an inviting thought.
Biting her lip in thought she went inside ignoring the teacher's scowl and smiling confidently at the girls who worshiped her. Grinning she took her seat and pulled out a notebook to doodle on. Heck, she hated math! Giggling as the head of the soccer team winked at her, she gave a flirtatious wave and shrugged. It wasn't like Jay was here!

Landon shoved his hand into her face and loudly demanded, "Lick it." Was he kidding? It was hard to say.
His brown eyes focused on her's with as much intent as a lion watching over its prey.
He pulled his hand back sharply.
"Juuussstt kidding." He peeled the disgusting plastic off of his hands and left them..on the table.
Dan would be happy to pick them up!!
"Now that I'm al clean," He wiggled his fingers in front of his face "I can do this." He quickly took hold of her hips and took her bottom lip between his teeth to n** it lightly.
All in time for Jay too.

Charlie inhaled just as the gloves were shoved into her face. She stood, disgusted and staring blanky at him.
She could handle dirt. She could handle grass stains. And hell, she could handle a softball to the gut at ninety miles per hour. But she could not handle cow heart being shoved into her face, not to mention being told to lick it.
But before she could muster up some words, he pulled it away, and telling her he was kidding. She smacked his bicep and rolled her eyes. "You're such an a**," Gloves, gone. Thank god.
And then Dan was like, staring at the bloody mess that he had set down.
Creeper!
He grabbed them and set them down closer to himself...while still pokingat the heart.
He was soo freaky!
Then Landon turned to her, showing her his clean hands and taking her by the hips to bite at her bottom lip.
Yeah, right there in front of everyone.
Charlie was used to people watching her, but she was also used to having some sort of gear and a field around her as well, when that was happening.
But now, some whooping and hollering echoed as she hooked her arms around his neck and sighed softly against his lips.
And since her back was to the door, she hadn't seen her best friend stroll through the door, twenty ish minutes late.

How will I know the right way to love you?Jay handed the teacher one of his late passes. She marked it off and handed it back to him. She eyed him carefully. He nodded slowly, telling her silently it wouldn't happen again. He was pretty sick of breaking rules like he had been doing. Little things. But temptation could lead to much bigger problems than just a mark on your perfect attendance.
Jay tiredly looked up. Landon had hold of Charlie's hips and was nipping her bottom lip. He glanced away. Just like his heart, he sank into his seat next to Shelby, a pretty sweet girl. Unlike everyone else, she was actually concentrated on dissecting her frog. No one paid any attention to him. It was the star couple behind him that was getting all the attention.
Jay snapped on his gloves and removed his coat. He rolled up his sleeves, leaning over the frog. Shelby gave him a sweet, innocent smile. That brightened up his day. "How can you--"
She smiled at him again and tapped her ears. He looked closer and nearly laughed. Earbuds. She was clever. The wires were hidden well underneath her dark hair. Shelby was one of those people who didn't care much about the status system in high school. She was only here to learn and enjoy herself. Jay liked to think he was the same way.

This behavior needs to stop now! First you roll around the floor like a pair of porn stars in some shark fetish film and now look at you!"
That wasn't going to go down when for good old Judy and her cow hearts.
Landon broke away from Charlie to face Mrs.Langer.
"Judy! I'm sorry but I've moved on, can't you understand that!? I mean, you, you just don't deliver!" Yeah, he went there. The whole class erruputed into screams and oohs accompanied by laughter and disbelief.
'Judy', looked...she looked genuinly shocked.
"L-Landon L-amb, I-"
"LAMBY!"
"YEEAAAAHHHH BOY!"
Nopw Judy was done, the class was on Landon and Charlie's side of chaos and public displays of extreme affection.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Flipping open her phone she saw her picture message and opened it still grinning at the picture of tomboy and that guy having sex in the ground. "Did you guys see this?" She asked innocently with a shocked smile of disapproval on her face. "Can you say major slut? I heard she's a lesbian. Poor Landon is being used." Her voice dripping with sweetness as the classmates around her sympathized. Being the queen bee had its advantages and spreading rumors was one of them.
Her friend Stacy picked up instantly on her purpose, "I know! What a major slut. She tried hitting on me in the restroom once." Soon the whole class began to buzz about Charlie being a lesbian. "Maybe she changed her look to attract girls." Stacy commented with a snicker followed by a few from the girls in the back that were listening in. "Oh Stacy, don't be so cold. Charlie's trying to get both guys and girls, I mean have you seen the way she looks at Jay. Pathetic."
Her phone vibrated in her hand and she flipped it open to a text from her other friend. Sending her the juicy details she closed her phone and laid her head on her hand. "Really that girl is so horny. I mean she couldn't wait to just go home and do it in private. She had to have him there. Poor horny b***h." She shook her head in fake symptathy as Stacy "tsked tsked" in agreement. The teacher didn't pay them the least bit of attention which was perfectly fine with Maddison. The whole class continued to talk cruelly of the tomboy.
One job done. A few more to go. This girl wasn't going to get her boyfriend. Never.

Charlie heard the teachers shrieking voice again and rolled her eyes. A faint blush still colored her cheeks as Landon pulled away from her to turn to Mrs. Langer.
Thats when she lost it, she completely started cracking up.
Landon had totally forced Judy into a corner, she was near speechless and going back to her desk, rolling her eyes and blushing like a shy girl on stage with chicken s**t all over her nice, new church dress.
Charlie looked up, still laughing so hard her eyes were watering. But that all stopped when she spotted Jay with Shelby, actually working.
Her jaw dropped slightly, she had forgotten he was in this class.
Now her cheeks were painted light pink again and she was biting her bottom lip.
Charlie rested her hand on Landons shoulder. She was not going to look at Jay anymore. She was going to ... She sunk into her chair and crossed her leg over the other as the class chanted on for Landon.
She felt her leg buzz, she had gotten the picture of Landon squeezing her a**.
Lovely.
Everyone had it now.
But that didn't bother her much.
What did bother her, was the text messages she was getting after that.
Slut, that one didn't hurt near as much as the next few.
'Heard you were a lesbo!'
And
'Lesbian b***h!'
And more like it.
She looked at the screen as more and more text messages came up. She was damn near tears. And Charlie- She never cried. Not ever. Not since her mother died really.
With the exception of the day Jay rejected her.
But she was about to lose it. She didn't understand this. And thats when she clicked the phone shut and ran out of the classroom.

He wasn't looking in her direction, wasn't paying much attention, hell he didn't even know anything was wrong, until he spotted Charlie's pink shirt running out the door.
What?
He turned around just to be sure, and sure enough, she was gone. His brown eyes narrowed slightly as the chants echoed through the concrete walls and the thoughts whizzed by his head.
Oh no, had he embarrassed her or something? Girls were emotional weren't they? And he had never had like, a real girlfriend before. He had girls but, not something comitted. Had he broken some sort of dating taboo?
s**t.
He nipped at his bottom lip before spinning around himself and sprinting out of the class after her.
It was a pretty grand entrance.
His sneakers skid against the linolium floor as Landon strained his eyes for a glimpse of her pink shirt.
There it was.
"Charlie! Hey Charlie, wait!" There wasn't much of a crowd so getting to her quickly wasn't too hard.
"Charlie, what's-I'm sorry." It was his fault right?

Charlie hadn't made it far before she heard her name. She instantly knew who it was and turned on her heels towards the voice.
Landon.
He was in front of her in seconds and she just stared at him blankly. The phone was still clutched in her hand. She was actually suprised she hadn't snapped it in half yet.
"Sorry?" Right, he obviously didn't know. But the whole biology class probably had new text messages with the rumor going around as well.
"Its, its not your fault Landon," She bit down on her lip, she was not going to cry.
No way.
No how.
"I its," She just handed him the phone.
How long til bell? She did not want to be in the crowded hallway right now.
And she also forgot about the texts in there from Jay. Not that they said anything really at all. Other than making plans to hang out. Which usually meant playing catch with some sort of ball.
Whether it was football, baseball or even softball sometimes.

Bell.
"Landon, think we can skip out now?" Her voice was shakey, but she had to get out- Now!
"There she is! Look, maybe she's breaking the news to her boyfriend!"
