She rolled her eyes and smiled, flashing her fangs before curtsying back to him and taking his hand, twirling under his arm before resting her other hand on his shoulder. Her dancing days were never far behind her, and even now she envied the grace and the performance of the ballerinas. But oh, how she enjoyed her own versions of the dance. "I assume you're leading?"

" of course, it is my way." group behind them started up a lively tune, Jasper quickly starting the dance and leading her down the streets. " i have found a lovely gift for you, for your creation day.. would you like it early?"

Her eyes glowed with suspicion though she kept time with his movements, her body flowing fluidly with his. Now why would he give her a gift for her creation day? In truth, she had forgotten that it was coming up so soon. How he remembered with that mind of his was amazing even to her, and that was a hard thing to do nowadays. "May I ask, why?" She pulled away from him and twirled in time with the music, coming back and beginning the step again.

" Well, my dear suspicous friend, i have had an appifiny. i was tearing the soul out of sweet Genie over there and i heard her last free thoughts, she kept crying because she wouldnt have a gift for her mother... so, with a moment of guilt, i sent her Genie's head with a nice note. the woman felt so much joy she died crying." fairly pleased with himself he spun her, catching her neatly to him again as he continued. " .. and i realized, i have never given you a gift. not very friend-like of me is it?" Kaia was the only person he knew of that he could take interest in, only she could rival his dancing and she had him beat hands down at singing.. he often asked her to sing for his band.

The maniacal actions made her smile, the spin made her laugh. True, though she tended to bring him people for the puppets he had, he had never given her a gift. It wasn't until now she noticed. The tune changed up and she went into a smooth transition, dipping back. "Why do I feel the need to be suspicious of this gift?" He didn't give gifts, he crushed spirits and played the boogieman. This was definitely different.

"Hmm decisions, decisions..." She smirked back at him and spun again, this time pressing up against him with her leg pressed to his hip, ending the dance. "I suspect the gift may take less time than the list, and I'm pretty sure I've heard part of the list already before." She gave him a full smile, fangs and all. "Alright, I'll trust your gift."

Sliding his hand over her thigh playfully he let her stand on her own again, snaping his fingers. the largest puppet came forward, his hallow chest opening so a girl fell onto the street.. bound and terrified. she was the 'newest and brightest' of the balatte world right now.. seeming to be the 'best' there was. people didnt know the money her rich father put in to make her the top girl though. the tittle made him laugh. dressed in a sparkling red preformance outfit the girl made angry sounds, but he ignored her. " yours to tease to eat as you wish.. the little tart dared say she was the best, i disagree."

When the girl fell out her eyes were immediately interested, glowing brighter and a mix of red and green when Jasper's words comprehended. Her smirk was an evil one as she knelt in front of the girl, her fangs elongating. "How honored she must feel then, to be in the presence of the best." They both knew she was talking about him. They were close to even, but she bowed to his superiorty no matter what jokes they had. "Now how did you find this one? It almost looks like you took her right off of the stage."

" actually i did.. i lit the audiance on fire and took her in the panic.. every one is convinced she did it as a stunt and will show herself when she is ready.." not that that would be any time soon, of course.. he gave a crooked smirk, lower his head slightly and touching the brim of his hat as he asked slyly. " should we have her dance for us?" his eyes had, of course, started to move.. the star bursts in the centers spinning as they always did when he was enjoying himself.

That made her smile as she stood up, leaning against the wall. Of course he was the only one not worried about being seen. That was Jasper for you. "Sure. Why waste a costume? Speaking of which, that is a nice one. You should save it afterwards if you don't turn her into a puppet." She knew without looking that his eyes were moving, because she felt the same sadistic giddiness. They were both having too much fun with this.

" Mmmm.. best save it now. there isnt enough wood or metal to fit this girls ego into.." lifting a hand he caught the girls chin, lifting her to her feet and smiling coldly. " you heard the lady.. strip." he ignored the muffled pleading, simply staring her down until she did as she was told. when she was done, standing trembling in nothing but a small bra and her garter, Jasper turned to offer the garment to Kaia.. barking sharply over his shoulder at the girl. " Did i say gawk, girl? Dance!"
the music started.. to the funky chicken dance. the girl made pained sounds, her cheeks flushed and tears running down her face.. but Jasper only laughed as she danced awkwardly.

Kaia smiled and tossed it onto her shoulder after studying it, watching the girl with her arms crossed. Only the fact that this girl had seemed so defiant and brave a few moments ago made it funnier than it was. And it was clear that by the awkwardness, she hadn't been taught very well or she hadn't paid very much attention to her instructors. "My, the times have changed, Jasper. What ever happened to the real dancers that actually had finesse? Even this dance can be done gracefully, yet I see no fluidity." It was a real shame that the art seemed to be dying among today's generation. Very few had the heart of a dancer anymore.

" they were killed or bullied into letting the rich people have the spot light.." allowing the girl to wobble her way through the song he caught her hair as she tried to sit and cover herself.. holding her up almost absently as he looked back at his puppets. the music became 'jepordy' as he offered the shivering girl to Kaia. " a pet for the lady? maybe.. a snack?"

She shrugged and pushed off of the wall. "I'm feeling merciful today." She handed him the garment and wrapped an arm around the girl's waist, her other hand tangling in the girl's hair as she tilted her head so her pale neck was exposed. Pressing her mouth to her neck she sucked lightly, drawing the blue vein to the surface before her eyes glowed red, her fangs unsheashing just before she bit in and fed. The warmth hitting her tongue made her moan in appreciation, also making her more grateful to Jasper. She hadn't fed in days, not even when Eclipse sent her on an assignment. This 'present' was a God send, because thanks to her friend, she didn't have to go very far.
