Music is always helpful, AOL radio rules ! I find if I paint one color at a time on all of the models that need that color the work moves along quicker.

I completely agree...Its kinda funny but while I paint diffrent armies The diffrent music helps me concentrate... The best gift GW has made (in my opinion) are the inks I have been building a blood Angels army for the last month...but Blood red, really isnt a great color on them. But I found that A base coat of blood red with an Equal parts mix of Chesnut and Red Ink makes a perfect blood color. (I put it on my wrists and scared my Roommate into thinking I cut myself, thats how perfect it is)

well I've never really listened to music while i paint. But now I have one of my stereo speakers on my desk.(where the warhammer magic happens) But actually I made a cool peice of terrain last night and listened to music while I made that...I have to post that up in the terrain section.

I do! Usually System of a Down or Apocolyptica gets the creativeness going.

(sorry Dart) Actually since they type of music played while painting or modeling can effect the out come of the fished product it think this topic is right on the mark. 3nodding

I try and listen to songs that fit the army of the model I'm paining...like for my Plague marines, Leper Messiah by Metallica, or Tentative and Attack by System of a down. My Dark Angels- Unforgiven by Metallica, or Revenga by System of a down. Eldar- Dust in the wind, or I wish I had an Angel by Nightwish. Speaking of Painting my Eldar, I got the New Ranger models, and I have painted one, And he's nearly done. I'll get Pics up when I finish. His cloak is changing to it's surroundings, from Foresty and trees to a more urban like area. It's cool.
