Dusk stepped out of the shadows and onto the roof. "Where've ya been, Mist?" The fox looked over and put the money on the sketchbook. "Well, at least you got some." She sat down and counted the money that she grabbed from Zaine. There wasn't much, but she expected that much. Zaine knew her, and he didn't carry much when he knew she was around.

Mist jumped onto her lap, and she began petting him, watching as the mid day sun shone overhead. "That's the one good thing about this place..." She said, playing with Mist's fur. "At least the sun shines."

Lucien turned to fenix "I better get going, I don't want to many people to know of me" he said as he looked up at dusk "goodbye" fenix looked up and barely caught a glimpse of her "bye lucien" he said to the old man who had already disappeared into the shadows, fenix turned back up to where dusk was 'wonder what she's doing up there...'

Kyoshi nodded when Zaine asked if was taking the job. But Zaine didn't know it was the "employer" that was getting hit and not the victim itself. "I'll be back tomorrow if I'm not doing anything." He pushed away from the bar and walked out. Going back down the alleyway he spotted a weird looking guy at a corner under a streetpost. Kyoshi was in hunter mode and quietly walked up behind him and held his head, sucking out the mans soul. The man dropped onto the floor and lay there lifeless. Kyoshi walked away, feeling slightly dizzy from everything he felt, smelled, saw, heard and touched. He walked farther away like he did every night, going to his home at the very top of an apartment building.

Fenix grabbed a rock and threw it at the wall across from him, he felt a drop of water hit his hand, he looked up and saw the darkening sky 'better get going' he started walking out of the alley but stopped and yelled "bye dusk!" then he kept going

Dusk made an eep! sound and looked over the edge. "Um...bye?" She then took off sprinting, trying to beat the rain to Zaine's bar. Mist followed her, stiffling his laughter.

"How cute!"

The rain became harder quickly, and Dusk cursed under her breath. She looked around, trying to find some type of shelter and then she saw a guy that looked familiar. Hey...it's the dude from the bar... Thunder clapped overhead, the volume of the sound making her jump and land on her face. Mist stopped, and helped her up, well...tried to.

She got up and sprinted to the overhang above the door of the guys apartment, barely missing him as she slid to a stop, practically trying to embed herself into the wall. "Um...hi. Can we stay under here still the rain stops?" "Or lets up?" Mist piped in.

Dusk looked at him and then at the door. "Um...I don't wanna get your rooms wet..." Mist scoffed and she kicked him out into the now pouring rain. He yelped and then ran back into the cover.

Now, they both looked like drowned rats, huddled against the wall of Kyoshi's apartment. "Mist...run and tell Zaine that I'm fine." Mist whined. "I don't wanna go out there!" "Mist!" The two bickered quietly, and Dusk won, pulling something out of her pocket, resembling a dog treat.

"Oh, c'mon Dusk. I may be an animal, but-" He stopped as Dusk threw the treat in the direction of the bar. He got it, and then sighed. Dusk watched as he ran to the Devil's Nest.

She then looked at Kyoshi and then to the open door. "I'm fine right here."

Kyoshi rolled his eyes. "Just get in the damn apartment. Don't worry about wetting my rooms. I'm wet too you know so whats the damn difference." He then realized that he didn't have a cig and was actually craving one or maybe a few but that was besides the point. He watched the exchange between her and the like animal, Mist. When Mist had left Dusk still had refused to enter his home. "What are you afraid of a killer like me?" He asked as he crossed his arms over his chest, bluish-green eyes turning more green.
