Cloud watched Zack as he began to get up, wondering why the other male suddenly stopped. "...Right here?" He asked and looked around. It was a nice area and it seemed peaceful. Though... what amused the blonde the most was how they stumbled, literally, upon the area.
"Ah, sure. It's nice..." He smiled faintly to the other and reached out, carefully brushing off Zack's face to the best of his ability. "You're a mess."

Zack chuckled at his friend's comment and winked at him, sticking his tongue out. He raised a hand to wipe some dirt off of his face as well, but after a while, he ended up smearing some all over his cheek.
"Er.. Do I look better now?" With all the smearing and grass at the corner of his mouth all the way to his forehead, the puppy spirited ended up making the mess worse. He stood up completely and soon started to brush his bum off as well; doing yet another mediocre job of cleaning himself off.
Zack frowned upon this and gave up. "Heh.. Ah.. Cloud, I think I need some help.." His ears slightly drooped from the slight feeling of hopelessness.

Cloud got to his feet as he shook his head. "Ah... It seems like you do. Now then... Just stand still and I'll try to get you clean." He reached out and started to brush Zack off, mindful of the other's behind, leaving Zack to get the grass off himself. Mostly the blonde concentrated on his face, cleaning it to the best of his abilities. "There... Now, you can do the rest." He laughed.

Zack blushed modestly as Cloud brushed off all the dirt and grass off of his body. Well, more like the the grass and dirt off of his face and legs. Which was understandable. Zack wasn't sure how he'd react if Cloud went ahead and simply brushed off his behind; a though that made Zack slightly chuckle and blush.
Smiling at his friend, his tail waggled a bit as he went ahead and brushed off his behind. Looking around he stretched and looked up at the sky. It was getting dark already and they have yet to situate themselves in their sleeping area.
"Well, I think we should go ahead and split up for now to get our stuff. It's already going to get dark; who knows how many rocks I'd have to trip over before getting back here if it's dark.." Zack mentioned and laughed softly over his own comment.

Unknowing of Zack's blushing, Cloud's gaze rose to the sky. "Yes... That would be wise to do. I'll meet you back here soon." The blonde nodded and turned to leave. "...Try to be wary of rocks, Zack." A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he began to return to the forest entrance.
Upon his journey he ran into a few of Acy's spirits, none of which he smiled or spoke to. They were all about in their own activities, which varied as greatly as the personalities did. Eventually he ran into his guide and explained to her where he was going as he gathered what few things he had.
"...Hm... Alright. If you need anything, Cloud, I'm always here for you." Were the words his guide spoke as she gave him a hug. "Have a good time."
Cloud nodded and patted her on the head. She was a rather sullen guide, and at times Cloud worried about her. It put his mind at ease to know he was not that far away and he could check up on her. Once again he looked to the sky, noting the darkness setting in. The wonder of how many rocks Zack would trip over soon came into play...

Looking over at his friend as he left the area, Zack smiled upon hearing Cloud's barely audible chuckle. A small chuckle; just one small step towards their goal. Those days both he and Cloud would spend together, laughing and having a good time.
Finding his way back to his usual spot among his guide's spirits, he found Seren hanging around with one of her more serious spirits. The cheerful guide managed to put a smile on anyone's face, especially that of her close friend, Acy. Much like what Zack can do with his friend Cloud. Approaching her, he smiled and soon started to explain what he planned to do with Cloud.
"So you guys are gunna bunk together? Awesome! Aw, I'll miss having you here, but go ahead and go with Cloud; I bet he misses you more." She nodded and gave Zack a big hug before he departed. Zack smiled and hugged her back. He gently nuzzled his guide in thanks before getting his things together. He knew that Seren and her spirits would be alright without him, and it's not like he'll be that far anyway. Just about ready to leave, Zack smiled and headed off towards the same spot he found with Cloud.
This time though, he was looking down the entire way; the rocks won't get him this time around.

Cloud departed and began to walk to the spot they agreed upon to stay. His gaze fell all around as he walked, noting how different the scenery was as the sky darkened. The forest entered almost looked morbidly evil as it became a thing in the near distance.
Soon he arrived and stood there, looking out, awaiting Zack's return. He wondered how fun this was going to be or if this was the wrong choice after all.

Zack progression back to the site that he found with Cloud was slow due to his extra effort in being careful not to trip on any more protruding rock or stone that might have cause him to fall. He looked up once the landscape started to look familiar and smiled to see that Cloud was already there before him. Hopefully, Zack didn't take too long.
Waving at his friend, Zack averted his gaze up at the other and started to run in his direction. Holding onto his stuff for dear life, it seemed that the puppy spirit had made it in the clear until quite a similar rock caused quite a similar fall as Zack tripped over the same rock he did earlier.
He didn't laugh immediately, but Zack once again had his face planted onto the ground. Remaining silent, he just barely mumbled out to his comrade.
"...It's the same damn rock, isn't it?'

Awaiting the in the dark of the evening, Cloud stood there, looking on in hopes to see Zack approach. Soon enough, his friend was getting closer and eventually... fell to the ground. Cloud's serious expression twisted into laughter that filled the air. "Seems like it... That rock likes you a little too much, Zack."
He placed his stuff on the ground carefully then walked over, helping Zack up again. "Perhaps you should talk to it." He mused.

"Talk to it..?" Zack looked up at Cloud and chuckled at the other's suggestion. It was silly, but it didn't hurt to entertain the idea for a little bit.
"Okay.. Hey rock..? Put a warning sign or something before you try to trip me next time." He told the rock and started to chuckle as he sat up and gently scratched the back of his head. His face was again full of dirt and grass, but he didn't want to bother this second time around. Smiling in that goofy way of his, he looked up at Cloud.
"So then.. you got all of your stuff? That's good." He simply said and nodded.

Cloud blinked at Zack, not really expecting the other to actually talk to the rock. Then again... this was Zack we were dealing with. Anything was possible. Kneeling down by the other male, he began to gently brush off the dirt and grass from his clothes. "Ah yeah... I have my stuff. Seems you have yours too... Might as well get our space set up... Or... Would waiting till morning be a better idea?"
In all honesty, the blonde didn't mind waiting until morning or working on it now. He was used to odd schedules from his guide and her spirits. Also, he ran some odd hours from time to time due to the things that came up during his living life as well.

Poking the rock for a small while, Zack finally looked up and Cloud and smiled.
"Ah, first of all... thanks for helping my brush off all the dirt." He said and chuckled as he proceeded with dusting himself off as well. "And well, how about we just set up our stuff for sleeping, and then we can deal the rest later?" He nodded about this, wondering if Cloud liked his way of going about doing things. He slightly tilted in head in inquiry.
"Or did you just want to crash now?" He asked and chuckled.
