Cher took his hand in a handshake. "Cher, Cher Grasha." She looked the door to where the helicopters were. "We're going on a mission in a couple hours, would you like to help? Not many people came this time."

"I think one of them is fixed now." Cher looked at the one Gavin had repaired. "They're pretty loud when they take off, but you get used to the noise after a while."

The door burst open suddenly, the phoenix messenger coming back in a hurry. Echo kept his back to him, not turning around and staring out at the clouds. He tapped his fingers impatiently on his crossed arm. "Well, what's the rush?" The phoenix caught his breath, bending over but speaking when he could. "He sent me back here....as soon as he got....the news." "My news, or--?" "Both Echo." He replied, standing up and rubbing a stitch in his side. He'd run into a table on the way too. Echo turned his head to look at him over his shoulder, his eyes boring into him like fire. "Both? What do you mean, both?" He shifted from one foot to another, unnerved before talking. "He got yours and that the Keepers are going on a raid, er, mission." Echo looked back outside, taking a moment before he spoke, chuckling a little. "Get him to send a small group to where they heading, kidnap one of them instead now, just a straggler." The messenger turned and went back to the captain, closing the door behind him.

Elizabeth looked at the clock on the far wall. 6:10. "Okay people, go ahead and start getting the copters fired up!" She yelled to where everyone could hear her. All of the people grabbed ear plugs, because they were all human. It seemed there wasn't that many other races coming, and that was a downer on their part.

Cher heard the helicopters getting ready, the noise slightly hurting her sensitive ears. "We're going now," She said, starting to head towards them. "Just hop on the "bandwagon" and help out if you want to." She picked up a pair of earplugs and shoved them in her ears.

Elizabeth grabbed a pair for herself and hopped on one of the 2 helicopters. She sighed. Another day, another raid. She laughed, for the rhyming.

Cher decided to get on the opposite helicopter. She sat down on a box and started to clean her crossbow again. A happy feeling rose up in her stomach, making her feel fuzzy.

-I get into the Helicoptter Cher was in- "The world could end at any moment and you can either except that fact or fight it. No matter what you do though your role in the end never changes. That was what my brother said to me a long time ago. I never understood it until now. I think what he was saying is that in the end we're all a part of something bigger."

Cher looked out of the corner of her eye at him, but kept focus on cleaning. "I guess that'd be true." She picked tiny pebble off of it that could have jammed the gears. "I mean, we're all here for a reason, right? Even if it is for the end of the world."
