Joey instantly took his arm off of Sam when Kaiba yelled at him to do so. What was wrong with him? He would have just laughed it of and kept doing as he wanted. Joey kept replaying what happened at the mansion. He was actually starting to feel pretty hurt. Especially when he said that he would never go as low as him. Oh why did it even matter! It shouldn't! He was starting to get really aggitated with these feelings. He turned away from Kaiba and the girls looked out the other window. He just sat there pouting, unsure exactly why. "Nothing Sam," he said lowly.

"Oh that would suck really bad! Yea, plus food would get into it and get all infected. Yuck!" she said agreeing with her on the stance of a tongue ring. Besides, they were really only meant for, you know.... that type of stuff. She doubt she would ever need it for that, she was already pretty prude to begin with. "Do eeeet!," Akiko said getting her to just do it. She watched as Sam wrote out the text and sent it to him. As they got closer and closer, Akiko was definately starting to feel more and mroe nervous. She couldn't help it, even though she was outgoing she was still a nervous person. Oh! And what if Yugi didn't care or like how she looked? She would die from embarrassment. They pulled up to the house and Akiko almost froze. Wait she had to be seen like this now? Already? She looked at Sam as she got out, oh she had to too? "Yea you look fine," she said smiling but obviously looked nervous now. "Ummmmmmmm," she said debating in her head whether or not to go in. Then she looked back at Joey and Kaiba, both seeming very much on edge. She'll take her chances outside of the limo. She got out then looked at the house. "Oh ok..... I can't do this..... I changed my mind...." she said feeling the nerves get to her. How ever, even though she said it, she found herself walking to the door with Sam anyway.

Atem waited upstairs, hopefully avoiding Tea for the time being. But then again, that meant her and Yugi being together alone. Who knew what she would do to him? And with the girls on the way? He sighed but then perked up when he heard his cell phone beep. He looked at it to happily see it was Sam replying to him. It was enough to make him smile, but enough to make him even more impatient. He put his cell phone away, not wanting Tea to see it and look at his messeges. He walked down stairs to see Tea huging Yugi from behind. He sighed to himself quietly. "I see you made it," he called out to Tea hoping to at least distract her away from Yugi. He could hold his own against her- he didn't buy into her charm. He made it down the stairs. He looked out the window to see that the limo pulled up. "The girls are here to get us," he said hoping for Tea to back off knowing Sam was going to be here. Unlikely, but she won't be as so up front with her flirting. He didn't see the two girls when they got out of the limo, even though his eyes were glued to the window, wanting to see Sam.

Yugi got to the door first before him even though he was closer. He stood behind him as he opened the door. The girls were already at the door and Atem just froze and stared at Sam when he saw her. Was he having another one of his dreams again? Because she was absolutely drop dead gorgous. He thought his heart stopped beating for a few seconds. His face went instantly red from multiple thoughts he dare not do. He shook his head a bit to collect himself, he then cleared his throat and smiled. Atem stood face to face with Sam. He may have lost his cool for a moment there, but once regained he looked as confident as ever. He took her by the hand and looked her in the eyes, "Thank you. You look very beautiful tonight." He used his free hand to gesture as if leading the way to the limo, "this way." Seeing Sam sparked determination in Atem, he was going to do everything for her tonight to get her to be his own. He held her hand and walked with her to the limo. [[haha ,what a cassanova XP ]]

When Sam hurried into the door Akiko held onto her back and hid behind her. It was only until they got inside that she stood off to the side very stiffly and nervous as anything. Yugi was right there in front of them, Atem behind. She didn't really look at Atem, she was staring point blank at Yugi. Wow! He looked really good! But he was staring at her and she felt so stupid now dressing up like this! Her body losened up a little but her face brightened up like everyone elses. She fiddled with her fingers a while due to nerves. Finally Yugi said something and she thought she was going to faint right there and then. He wasn't kidding her was he? She first heard her addressed, then he complimented them both then everyone? If she wasn't so uptight she would have seen how nervous he was. "Oh come on, don't kid haha. It's not much, I didn't even know I had these clothes hahaha," she nervously spoke quickly. She hated when this happened, when she gets anxious she speaks really fast. "You look good too, I mean you always look good, I mean ummmmm," she said trying to slow herself down, "you like sushi right? You wanna get some with me? Besides the hibatchi?" God, she just wanted to kick herself in the teeth for acting so stupidly.

Joey remained in the car as he was before. He only moved when Kaiba asked him what his problem was. "Me? Problem?" he said first shocked that he was talking to him. "I don't have a problem. I wasn't the one to throw you down back at the mansion," he said not telling him the truth. He narrowed his eyes at him, "And not to the mention the name calling. And the freaking out....." He put his elbow against the wall of the limo and held his head on his hand, pouting as he has been the whole time. He didn't even mention the whole Kaiba telling him he was gay and all the feelings that were stirring inside of him. Like Kaiba would care. "And just how are we supposed to get along when you have to tutor me?" he added simply to leave out how he felt.

oh, the belly button thing. hmmmm, perhaps he's a bit nervous about it so he tries to talk her out of it. But he doesn't absolutely hate it. Should Akiko get one? Eventually?]]

"I wasn't complaining, I was just saying..." he said but stopped when everyone got in the limo. "It doesn't matter," he said looking out the window. He didn't even bother saying hello to his friends. He was starting to look more so sad now then angry. He couldn't get these feelings out of his head. He hoped there were some girls at the hibatchi place- that's what he needed. Some good distraction to get his mind cleared.

Atem smiled at Sam's scrambled sentences. Good. He could tell that he was very flattered by his actions. Why had he never done this before? Perhaps an oppritunity to do so never came forth. This was the perfect oppritunity to show her how he felt- to show that he was worthy of her love. And even though his actions were bold, he wanted to do so much more. He wanted to touch her more and hold her in his arms. But he couldn't let himself be carried away, he had to do this right or she would find him creepy. He followed her into the limo and sat next to her of course. He smiled at her and said, "Sorry about that, I was becoming impatient. I wanted to see you as soon as possible. I was starting to miss you." It's never been so easy for him to smooth talk her, he was really on the ball today. But he had such great inspiration in front of him.

Her heart better slow down or it was going to crack a rib. Did he really say that? She smiled greatly and put her hands together, "Haha, you think so?" she said returning to a normal talking speed. And now that the initial anxiety had slowed down, she felt really happy. He thought she was pretty! Nobody has called her pretty, who was outside her family. She then giggled when he asked her that. "I don't know yet, maybe. Sam thinks I should get one. She has one too I found out! It looks really cool. But I've never gotten anything pierced before. What do you think? Should I get one?" she asked him. She heard a voice scold Yugi from behind. Was that Tea? And did the door hit her. Yugi apologized and when he wasn't looking, Akiko turned around and deviously smirked at her. She couldn't help it, she felt so good that he wasn't paying attention to that succubus! She didn't care if they were friends, but only friends! She got into the limo sitting next to Yugi of course. Tea ended up sitting next to Atem. Sure she was leaving Yugi alone but now she was going to bother Sam and Atem!

"I never thought too much about piercings- that's why I don't have my ears pierced," she said pointing to her ears. "I've actually been kinda scared to get anything pierced. I'd wanna get a tattoo also but I don't like the idea that it will always be there. It would have to be something really meaningful or I would just regret it later on," she said. Yugi didn't seem too into the piercing, she didn't want to turn him off from her if she ended up getting one. She giggled at Sam- she was so excited for her to get one. Then Tea had to open her mouth, basically calling Sam and possibly her a slut. Akiko felt kinda upset when the two were fighting, she never really liked seeing fights because she saw a lot of them in her childhood. But she was glad Sam didn't take any from Tea. "A slut is defined by actions, not by looks," Akiko added to defend her friend. She said it without attitude, she said it calmly.

Atem nodded. Of course he missed Sam, he always missed Sam when she was away. Atem blinked a few times when Akiko mentioned Sam having a bellybutton ring. That was totally hot, he didn't care what anybody thought. He liked it. He almost blurted out asking to see it, but Sam was wearing a dress and, well that would have been kinda rude. "I never knew you had a navel piercing, Sam," he said smiling obviously liking the idea. Atem sneered at Tea when she called Sam a slut. "Hey hey! Everyone just calm down ok?" he said with a strict but calm voice. "You're not a slut, and certainly not because of a piercing," he said to Sam sliding his hand to hers.

Joey stayed quiet the whole time, just looking out the window. They finally got there and he was one of the first people to get out of the car. He had to get with it, he was way to out of it and he was sure people were going to ask him what was wrong. He waited for his friends to get out. He watched as his friends exited the limo.

Atem gave Tea a glare back as well. He was used to her sneakingly giving Sam insults but now she was showing her hatred for Sam upfront. Atem followed Sam out of the limo and walked in with her. The restaurant was very fancy, and because of it's prestige it wasn't overly packed like any old restaurant. There were bound to be a lot of students celebrating the end of the year, but they were definitely not here. There were two different dinning areas, hibatchi area with a few elaborate tables and the sushi bar. Customers were allowed to eat either at the sushi bar or bring it back to their table. Kaiba had already been seated and served his drink. When the hostess asked him, Sam, and Joey if they were together, Atem took Sam's hand and told the hostess that they were with Kaiba. She wouldn't have believed them if Sam wasn't with them. He let them know that there were more people in their party. Once there Atem pulled the chair out for Sam to sit.

Joey followed along with Kaiba staying quiet. As they passed someone elses table, he saw a very attractive woman sitting there. He winked at her and playfully blew a kiss. She made a disgusted face at him and turned away. Joey felt good every time he flirted- took his mind off of Kaiba. Although he would rather someone say yes to him so he could really forget about what happened. Joey didn't really sit next to Kaiba, even though he was to his right. They were both at the a corner of the table. He watched as Kaiba ordered alcohol without even being carded! Nobody questioned him. Atem was about to seat Sam inbetween himself- keeping her away from him. "Hey! I want to sit next to Sam too, Atem," he said. He then winked and said, "Don't try keeping her all to yourself!" He was partially joking, partially serious. Afterall Sam was still his best bet- the only one who right now would go out with him.

Atem raised an eyebrow at Joey. "She's still close to you," he said trying to get him to back off. He did want Sam to himself, he didn't want to share. "You're still within talking range," he added.

"Well no offense buddy, but I'd rather have a hot girl next to me," he said joking. He was friends with Atem, but he wanted Sam next to him.

Akiko stayed out of it too. She was just lucky that Tea was friends with her friends, or else she would have jumped into the fight right along with Sam. It was really a bad spot for her to be in, she wanted to tell off Tea but she didn't want to hurt Yugi's feelings. And she didn't want to restrict him from his friends! Even if Tea was a stupid ho in her mind. "Thank you," she said getting out of the limo first. She waited for him and walked in along side of him. They were lead to the table everyone else was at. Tea jumped to the corner seat so that she would be next to Atem. So now she had the choice of having herself sit next to Tea or for Yugi to sit next to her. She sighed, she didn't want to be near Tea so Yugi was next to both her and Tea. "Oh you want to come? Yea sure! I'm probably going to need someone to be there with me. You know.... for comfort...." she said but trailed off at the end looking away slightly. "So uh," she said to change subjects, "what do you want to get? Something from the hibatchi first or sushi first?"

A fancy convertible came to a screeching halt outside of the restaurant. Out came no other then Mai Valentine. She was dressed to impress as usual- she wore a black tight dress with an opening going down the middle that had material going across it. The whole dress hugged onto her body and ended at the upper middle part of her thighs. Rather short, but she was used to dressing like this. She also wore a short black leather jacket with knee high black high heel boots. When she drove, she wore sunglasses, as she approached the place she took them off, swinging her hair elegantly around so to catch some admirational stares. Entering, she looked around for the group. They were already here, and walked up to Joey with her sexy gait. "Joseph!" she called out happily, "look at you! So snazzily dressed!" She then looked at the whole group, "Well hello there everyone! It's been a long time hasn't it?"

haha, I love the idea. He's seriously going to go back and forth between Sam and Mai- which would probably piss Sam off even more. I think maybe at the end of the night, Mai sits down with Joey and tells him that he better stop what he's doing because she knows what he's doing (but doesn't know about the gay thing).

Yea, that's a good way to set Atem and Sam's progress back a little. Oh! You know what I was thinking of doing? You know how when you are at a hibatchi and they flip pieces of food at you? Perhaps it misses with Sam and lands in her cleavage so Joey, as stupid as he is, goes to grab it and pisses Sam off ultraly? Up to you.]]

Atem sneered a little at Joey seeing that he won that round. He still pulled out the seat for her and pushed it in once she sat. He took his seat ignoring Tea who was on his other side. When Mai came in he smiled and greeted her. He did take note of her revealing outfit but it didn't keep his attention very long. Mai was certainly attractive, but nobody was more beautiful then Sam in his eyes. "So what do you feel like getting to eat, Sam?" he asked her keeping his attention on Sam.

As expected, the minute Joey saw Mai walk through the doors his eyes were glued on her. God she's such a babe! Sam was beautiful, but Mai was a mature woman. "Mai!" he said happily. He turned to his side so he could get a better look at her. "Damn Mai! Bang bang huh?" he flirted with her, "Wow I mean really. You're really smoking tonight!" He then looked at Kaiba when he offered a seat to her. At the moment, he wasn't jealous or anything. He was actually pretty happy, Kaiba was never inviting to anybody and to allow her to join the party was pretty big.

"Well Yugi here gave me a call and told me what you were all up to. I couldn't pass this opportunity up to get together with my good friends now could I?" she said raising her hand to her chest femininely. She then smacked Joey playfully, "Oh stop you. You know I hate it when you gawk at me like that." She smiled though and gave Joey a hug from behind afterwards. She then looked at Kaiba and smiled, "Well then Mr. Kaiba, if your buying then I will certainly drink with you." She took her seat next to Kaiba. They have never really ever gotten along before, but maybe he had warmed up to her and the group. She looked at the menu and then looked at Kaiba, "Well I don't know what you have there, but I'm in the mood for a nice shaken martini."

Akiko smiled and thanked him when Yugi pulled out her seat for her. Akiko looked over to see Mai enter. "Mai mai!" she said happily surprised. She was then a little shocked at her outfit. She should be used to Mai doing this, but she couldn't get over how revealing Mai liked to be. She didn't really mind though, because she knew Mai was a good person- she was good to all of them. Sure, she was a little money hungry, but nobody is perfect right? And she smiled seeing that Joey was totally into her. Good, what good timing. She didn't even notice Yugi blushing at Mai. She barely got to look at the menu, but she did take a look at the hand rolls and specialty sushi rolls. "That sounds good!" she said getting up with him and walking over to the sushi bar. There was a man sharpening his blades as they approached him. "We can share a roll if you want. There's this one that I really like," she said and blushed. "Hello," she said getting the man's attention, "can we get the sweetheart roll?" It wasn't her absolute favorite roll, but it was her way of trying to flirt. Too bad she felt really stupid after she said it. She fiddled with her hands a bit and still remained pink.

[[[sorry I wasn't on yesterday- me and my boyfriend went to Great Adventure yesterday! haha, lots of fun. Almost went on that El Torro ride but chickened out XD

I figured Mai would socialize with Kaiba and because of her personality, it looks like she is interested in Kaiba. But she really isn't, she just has a flirtatious personality. So maybe later in the night Joey might bring that up and she tell him she has no interest in Kaiba and neither in him, that Joey is one of her very best friends and that is about it. Plus I may have her mention that she thinks the reason he is trying so hard is to cover something up. Because she can see through it, but doesn't know what he is hiding.

I think we had trouble deciding on what to do with that. Because both ways seem to work very well. It should definitely be toward the end of the night. Right now I am leaning more toward the fact she kisses him in front of the group- because she's doing it to be allowed to the beach thing tomorrow as well as making Atem jealous? What do you think?]]

Atem knew that he had Sam's attention, which pleased him very much. Now that Mai was here, perhaps Joey would leave Sam alone. As she looked at the menu, Atem just stared at her top to bottom. He couldn't get over how beautiful she looked tonight. He knew she was going to look good, but she was more then that. She was truly stunning. "Huh?" he said coming out of his daze when asked what he wanted. "Oh ah," he said quickly looking at the menu. He was too busy looking at her to even take a look. "Probably the vegetable dinner," he said really only choosing the first thing he saw. He couldn't help but roll his eyes a bit when Kaiba called them all losers. He knew he could pay for himself if he had to. Whatever, he had more important things to concentrate on. Atem watched as Sam asked for a drink. He personally didn't have a problem with alcohol- as long as the drinker was responsible. A glass of wine or a mug of beer a day was actually healthy. But his views were influenced on his past life- in the modern day, people were less tolerable and less responsible. So he could understand why some people were against it. He personally liked whine and sake but had it so rarely and when he did have it, he had very little. "And what would you drink if you could?" he said in a small chuckle. He had no idea what she has drank in the past, he thought it would have been some small feminine drink she's had.

Mai rolled her eyes a bit at his insult to her friends. But she knew that was how Kaiba was. "Well at least your here in company," she said trying to forget about the insult. She knew she could pay for herself as well, but why when Kaiba was going to do so? She got her drink and held it femininely and gracefully, it was obvious she's had martinis before. She did smile when he tipped the girl graciously. "I see your as generous with your money as usual," she said crossing her leg and straightening her back.

Joey didn't think too much about the compliments, or so he thought. He was kind of on edge by all the attention Mai was giving Kaiba. Afterall, wasn't she his friend and not Kaiba's? "Ah..... so Mai, how long have you been in Domino? I haven't heard from you in a while," he said trying to get her to pay attention to him. "That's a good idea, Tea!" he said totally for the idea. "Well?" he asked Mai eagerly.

Atem heard both Sam and Tea- Sam wanted to stay close to Kaiba and Tea wanted to rearrange Mai and Kaiba. "Or, maybe Kaiba and Joey can switch places?" He couldn't help but smirk a little- for once Tea actually said something that didn't anger him. The further Joey was from Sam the better. He didn't see it as Sam being jealous, not yet.

"I'm starting to think you want to get rid of me Atem," he said seeing what he was doing.

"Nonsense Joey, I'd be able to see you at a better angle if you switched," he said to back himself up.

"Well I don't care who sits next to who, I can see all of you perfectly from here," Mai said not understanding why everyone was so gun-ho about her moving their seats around.

Akiko was glad that he agreed to share one with her. Akiko's eyes widened a little when he called her cute. She just wanted to hug him right there but couldn't find the courage to move her body. So she giggled a little and smiled, "Aw really? Nah not like me," she said nervously. God! Why couldn't she take a compliment ever? "I mean, thank you," she said lowly blushing while smiling. "Oh, it's a little spicy too. Nothing mouth burning, but a small sensation of spicy," she told him. They were handed the sushi which was shaped in little hearts. "Haha, ok so they are cute," she said blushing more. Oh why did she have to flirt like that? Well at least she didn't get the foxy roll and had him call her foxy! Although she would like that too.
