 Ryu walked onward, not really seeing what there was in front of him, he seemed to be lead just by instinct now. The wolf loked back up into the cloudless sky, it seemed the sky took on his feelings of lonilyness. The black wolf sat with his back to the base of a great oak tree. Barly even knowing what he was doing he found, something, some scent that caught his attention on the wind. 
His mind told him to stay were he was, but in his heart he knew something might be wrong. So Ryu got to his paws, shook all the dirt and dust from his heavy pelt and followed the mysterious scent. Somehow he thought he knew it but parically he thought wrong. " What we the others doing? They do not even know i am gone." he thought keeping his gaze to the ground in front of him. The wolf came arouns a bend, following the path that lay parcialy hidden, by undergrowth. He lifted his to find a moose, laying on the ground. It side use cut open and entrails were laying on the ground. But something else was here with him, he felt a presence but wht was it?

Blood came back to where Thorn and Sero were blood's head hung low. He didn't get close becuase he didn't want to frighten them. "Thorn I am so very sorry I attacked you. Please forgive me! I don't know what came over me. I am so very, very, very sorry." Blood pleaded to Thorn.

Kona wandered towards camp with her head held high. Star was going to need protection, especially if Blood came back anytime soon. She arrived at the camp to find a teary-eyed Star and a very confused Aveia. She nodded to Aveia. "Alot has happened today, I'd advise you eat from the calf I've killed. Blood Fire is rampant in the area, and Sero, Thorn and Blood have left. Ryu has gone off alone it seems." she nuzzled Star's neck, hearing a hiccup now and then. "There, there." she murmured. She dragged the calf closer to Star and bid her eat. Star pulled off small pieces and slowly calmed down. Kona's tail swung back and forth listlessly. The sun hung low in the sky, and the air had cooled significantly. Soon, the first stars would appear in the sky, perhaps even the Dancing Lights. Winter was about to get much harder. Kona gazed off into the forest, watching it's shadows lengthen. Star had finished eating and curled up next to her. Kona's heart was heavy with grief. Hopefully Ryu would return home safely, Thorn and Sero would find what they sought, and Blood would find shelter for the night. She lay her head on Star's warm shoulder and quieted her mind. There would be little sleep for her tonight, she would spend that time with the night as her companion.

Aveia whimperd and nodded, and trotting a bit away went to eat the claf.Tearing off small chunks and hungreyly gulping them down.When she was done she turned back to Star and Kona.Laying down near the den she put her head on her paws and looked to the sky.The lights would come soon, and they would bring thier colors.She whimperd agian hopeing that the others would come back soon.

Star curled up next to Kona. thoughts were flying though her head, "Is Blood going to come back? What will the pack do to him if he does come back? What will happen to me since I'm his daughter? Will I have to choose between the pack and my father? What will I do?" Star cried for a bit and then fell a sleep.

Thorn whimpered and then sat up. She was in a lot of pain. She looked at Sero with frightened eyes. "How long until I'm fit enough to travel?" she asked Sero, panic edging her voice. She stood up for a moment and paced in a small circled around Sero, before sitting back down. "I'll just slow you down. Are you sure you want me to come?" Thorn asked quickly. She looked to the north, towards the pack, and then back down to the south. Her head whipped back and forth for a minute and then she turned her gaze back to Sero. "What if I can't make it?" she whispered.

The feeling of being watched was growing stronger, something was near by he tried clearing his head, but the feeling could not be shaken. the black wolf stared at the surronding area, watching the landscape, waiting for something to come at him. Ryu rounded around a rock, finding only the stench of death and sickness in the air. HIs eyes grew wider, and started to shake. Had his eyes decived him or was it just an ilusion in fron tof him. Whatever it was it made him quiver under his pelt. In front of him lay, a Mountian Lion her stomach was ripped open some entrails were there, nothing was inside the chest cavity.
Blood dripped down from the upper part of the belly. The mountian lion eyes were open wide and filled with terror, paws were outsretched as if it was running away from something. all over the body of it seemed to be bite marks. Something was not right here, Ryus shifted his stance and stared at the bushed around him. What ever do this was still around, he slowly backed away, careful not to make a sound to alert the creature. As soon as the wolf was clear away from the clearing he ran, ran toward the camp. His mind was racing at what had happened there. " Kona" The black wolf howled as he burst into the entrance of the camp. He fell on his belly, trying to catch his breath, he was terrified and his fear scent wafted through the camp.

 Sero sat there until Thorn was ready to go. When her question about if she could make it left her maw, Sero's eyes showed doubt, but his face was firm. "You will make it," he said in a reassuring tone, now standing up, "I promise you."
Their journey finally began and hours passed as they ran through the snow and trees. Nature was not on their side as they continued their trek, for it threw blizzards, hail, and even hard winds at the two wolves. Halfway through their journey, after taking a quick rest, Sero felt different, more...volatile. His eyes widened as he knew what this feeling was. The brute traced through his memories to see where he got it from. It led to when he was cleaning up Thorn's wounds. He did not know that he had a wound of his own, but her blood seeped into the wound, making the male contract Blood Fire. "s**t!" he yelled as he snapped up to his paws, "We need to get going, NOW!"
Spike raced down to the south, making sure that Thorn was not far behind. With muzzle stuck in the air, the scents began wafting into his nostrils. A familiar scent was what he was looking for, when he found it. The brute raced around a large oak and came upon a small building with two men outside and a couple more inside. "Come on Thorn! These humans helped me the last time!" he said in a gruff voice.
The rabies were forcefully trying to take over, but Sero was not going to let that happen. He walked up to the first male outside. The man had a trenchcoat on and smiled as Sero approached him. "My my," he spoke in an intrigued matter, "What have we here? Is this the pup from before?" Sero responded with a bark, "Hmm... it looks like you and your friend there have some pretty nasty wounds... oh my... Her actions... That female has rabies. Do you have them too wolf?" Sero dropped his head, fearing the worse, "Ah, well... Let me take you into the building so I can help you two."
The man disappeared into the building, leaving the door open for the wolves. "Come on Thorn," he said to the femme, "He will be able to help us."

Blood walked back to the camp thinking about what he was going to say. His head hung low. He was thinking that the pack would never except him. He was also sorry that Star had had to see him lke that.

Kona's foray into thought was abruptly broken as Ryu dashed into the camp. "Kona!" he howled. She jumped to her feet, startling Starfall in the process. "Ryu! What's wrong? Where have you been?" she exclaimed. The black wolf had fallen to his belly, panting, and the scent of fear was thick about him. Kona shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. If he had been infected with Blood Fire, he wouldn't have been so coherent when he entered the camp. She calmed herself. What ever had happened, the wolf had enough foresight to warn her about it. She sat next to the panting wolf. "Star, go lay in the den until I tell you to come out." she turned to Ryu. "By the moon, what has happened to you?" she asked quietly.

Star walked back into the den, but she stayed close enough to the entrance of the den to be able to hear what was going on. She thought maybe it was something about her dad.
Blood heard Ryu howl and thought that maybe something was wrong. He dashed into camp. "Is everyone ok?!" Blood said. everyone turned their head twoarsd Blood. Blood stood still and waited for someone to say something.
