Lisa sighed and rolled her eyes. "I only wish Merlin was just a fancy hat some times," she said half jokingly. "He gets me into so much trouble." Lisa then turned to Yth and gave her a very, very stern look. "You are not to experiment on ANYONE unless they consent! That is a cardinal rule of science!" She was bitterly reminded of her father, that wretched mad man who had taken the family's pet eevee away just so he could preform experiments on it. Lisa bushed the memory away with a quick adjustment of her glasses. "Now, then, Yth, was it? How about you tell me a bit about yourself." This was Lisa's attempt to change the subject, a sad attempt at that.
Merlin lazily floated over Lisa, plotting on what else he could do during the walk. Sadly, he couldn't pull anyone's hair for the time being, or Lisa would catch him. He knew he was teetering on being stuck in his great ball as it was.

Abiba let out several happy sounds at the pettings; she liked pettings, oh yes! Very much so indeed! And anyone who willing gave her a petting was good in her book!
With a happy "chu!", Abiba quickly skittered up the arm offered so she was perched on the humans' shoulders. It was something more familiar to her (rather than riding Royale the whole way) and she was a light pokemon, so it was highly doubted her weight would bother anyone.
Besides, she wanted company. Royale was too much of a grouchy meanie face right now.
As Alessa held up the sunglasses for her to see, Abiba started acting like a little Pichu again and reaching for the interesting item. Unfortunately, with the arrival of another human, they had been pulled out of reach before she could try them. Ah well!
"Raichu rai!"

Pippeh glanced over to where the pink eevee was. She really wanted to go say hi to both the pretty pokemon and the trainer, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it. It always seemed like she was bothering people when she went up on her own free will. Hopefully camp will help her fix that ideal, but in the meantime she reached into her bag and pulled out the baggie of cookies.
Opening it up, she grabbed one for herself and then gave one to Jaidev who took it with a small glare after having been scolded earlier. The trainer then decided to sit down on the ground and place the bag of open cookies next to her to nibble from as she waited and watched.

Adriel stepped over Zinnia when she was on the ground and kept on walking. "I suppose, if you want to call it a 'good' morning." He shrugged and petted Tripod, trying to calm down the now bristled up shinx. "Indeed, I do."
Tripod let out a soft, half whine, half growl towards Zinnia and wiggled about until he was put down on the ground. He moved in a fast-slow pace so he didn't get ahead of his trainer, but didn't fall behind.

Nyght had been sitting quite happily, and in her opinion quietly, on the bus. Crescent, her newly acquired Glaceon, had done a marvelous job of keeping both of them comfortably cool, and the dark-haired girl had been able to ignore the louder participants fairly easily. Apparently the bus rider hadn't though.... As the bus ground to a halt, both Nyght and Crescent looked around a bit confused, and both winced in unison as the bus driver demanded they all debark. Rubbing her eyes a bit, Nyght pulled her back pack out from under the seat in front of her and got ready to get off the bus.
As soon as they had all managed to get a safe distance away from the bus, Nyght crouched to make sure her equipment was still safely packed. Though the girl had wanted to come for the fun and bonding with her new pokemon, she also had realized that this would be a great opportunity for her to get some excellent samples! And with Crescent here to make sure her samples stayed cool inside her insulator, nothing could go wrong!
Nyght hadn't, however, planned on carrying her fairly heavy backpack and suitcase on a five hour walk.... What she wouldn't give to have Fintan with her! The Tauros would have carried everything and her without breaking a sweat, if pokemon could sweat that is.... Sighing, Nyght looked at Crescent, "I don't suppose you could carry the backpack huh girl?"
The shiny Glaceon looked at the backpack on her owner and then at the suitcase beside her. Realizing that the whole walk would be a lot slower with Nyght carrying both, Crescent nodded, "Glac!" The oddly colored pokemon sat back on her haunches and lifted her front paws off the ground so Nyght could hook the backpack over them. As Nyght touched her pokemon's fur and felt the chill that always emanated from it, she realized that this would actually be the best way to preserve the samples. "Crescent, you are like a walking refrigerator!" Patting her lovely and useful new pokemon, Nyght started dragging the suitcase after the group of people already heading towards the camp, Crescent falling happily in step behind her.

Zinnia stared, wide-eyed as he merely walked over her and continued on his way. Was she that annoying? She thought for a moment, then decided that he was just grumpy that day. She ran to keep up with the long-legged Healer.
Zyk bared his pointed fangs at Hartless. He didn't like the way that man was treating Zin! And the shinx looked afraid. You couldn't trust a pokemon who was always afraid.

Grinning as the Raichu was eagerly greeted by two other's, Musica glanced over his shoulder, spotting more trainers joing the pack of humans migrating to said camp. His eye's were drawn to the Ninetails, another one of his favorites. He admired it's graceful air, and lovely coat. I hope I too will be able to have a fine Ninetails like that. He thought to himself, smiling approvingly. Though he turned back around, and kept his casual pace. Enjoying the exercise. It seemed like it was going to be a great opportunity to work some muscles, and sweat some beads. Being a personal trainer, this was a great way to get his body a bit of it's usual daily work-out, since he had to miss most of it this morning due to the fact that he had to catch the bus here. Perhaps his mysterious apperance kept other's away from him. He smirked at his thought, finding people to be pradictable and didn't care much if he was or wasn't interacted with.

June shifted nervously. She had been late, as always. It wasn't exactly new to anyone who knew her, but these were all strangers. She tied back and dark red hair, then glanced down at the rental bunneary next to her. Sweetfoot, she had named it, for it (perhaps it was a female?) was continually hoping up and down, letting out soft chirps and becoming distracted.
This was one of Sweetfoot's rare times of concentration, as it stared at her temporary owner until June moved uncomfortably. Staring made her nervous, which was ironic. After all, she was a coordinator, and all she did was get stared at.
"Alright, Sweetfoot. Let's go."

“Really? I thought the cardinal rule of science was, ‘Don’t let anyone else find out what you’re up to and, remember, the screams are from delight at finding out that they suddenly have tentacles instead of arms’. But, you know, ‘no experimenting unless they consent’ is totally almost the same thing.” Actually, the word ‘experiment’ was an innuendo just waiting to happen, but Alastair was trying to behave himself. It was best to save such innuendos until, at least, the second meeting.
Lucine, for once, was not happy. This displeased her greatly, especially since the emotion was so unfamiliar to her. Peering around Alastair’s legs once more, she arched her back and spat at the new girl, trying to let her know that she was not welcome here. Unfortunately, Alastair wasn’t taking the hint. Lucine mewed once more and headbutted her supposed trainer, but the young man only waved her away.
Well, fine! The pink eevee sniffed and went off to find someone better to play with. Maybe when Alastair was stuck in a jar he would wish that he had listened to the mewvee! OH HEY! Cookies! Instantly, all thoughts of annoyance and anger left Lucine’s mind as she made a beeline for Pippeh recognizing her as a person with cookies. Quickly making herself look as adorable as possible, she tried to create an image that a cookie a day could help out eevees everywhere.
“Mew?” she said, rubbing against Pippeh, “Purr?”

Flari smiled. there were an awful lot of ghost types around. A few electric types too... She even caught a glimpse of a Glaceon! a Shiny one, at that! Well! She didn't see too many of those around! "Well, Liz, should we go up and talk to that trainer?" she asked the rattatta. Liz didn't answer. She was fast asleep. Flari laughed, and with a last mental check on the darker side- still dormant, good- walked over to Nyght and Crescent. "Hello there!" She said, walking beside them, "thats a gorgeous glaceon. Whats..." she checked the gender swiftly... "Her name?"

“Sorry, it’s an enthusiastic little critter”, apologized Alessa though it was the wanted result. A thought hit her… wait, how long will she have to walk, by the way? She wasn’t the kind to ask “are we there yet” right at the beginning, but she began to worry a bit. Oh well, the Raichu would keep her busy. She tickled her cheeks softly, as she seemed to enjoy it. "And are you a he, or a she?"

Devin just hurried along, listening tot he pokemon talk and listening to the trainers talk, he looked down, not saying a word. He didn't fit int here, he knew it. What was wrong with him though? He just kept walking, to make sure no-one would find him.
He was so caught up in his thoughts he tripped over something, not extremely big.

ChibiPoet Cab eyed Kacen for a while, he looked to be someone else without a pokémon. A kindred spirit perhaps? Other trainers had been bothering him on the bus ride, so she wondered if he'd rather just be left alone. She was glad for his sake that he'd cast off the hoodie, that would have made the journey quite difficult. Better if they didn't have to carry anyone there.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It would be nice if she could make a friend on this trip, someone to talk to other than Roise all the time.
She took a few quick jog-steps to come up even with him, but still along the edge of the road. "Hi," she said. "Pretty wretched situation, no?" she asked. If he didn't take to that then she figured she'd let him be. (Since you didn't post after this, I thought it'd be okay to go ahead and respond. Sorry for lateness!) Kacen glanced over to the voice that called to him and for a slight moment offered a smile that let her know he wasn't as terrible as this all the time. "Yeah, it's pretty bad. This heat is going to be terrible for the pokemon." He would have mentioned something about the trainers, but at this point he didn't really care.
It was a few moments later that he noticed she didn't have a pokemon trailing after her either, and motioned to her. "No pokemon either, hm?" He chuckled, a bitter sort of sound. "I don't have one, though I'd like to. I'm only hear because I thought I could escape summer."

Raichus, Glaceons, ghost pokemon and other pokemon appeared to be everywhere. If one thing was for sure, Naira had picked a popular camp to spend this roasting week at.
Getting tired of chasing her tail, Mallory seemed to have just fallen over in a dead pant. Even if they were in the mountians, it seemed the heat had still traveled here. "Tata..."
"Well, if you run around too much, you will get worn out." Naira sighed as she knelt over the energic pokemon who was attempting to get back up. "Just rest for a moment." She spoke softly as she petted the purple fur and wondered if there was any form of water around besides her bottles

"Waaalk? WAAAAALK?! Why do we have to waaalllk..." As evident by her excessive whining, Sunnie was not happy at all about the whole lack-of-bus situation. Walking was not her forte, and the prospect of a five hour walk made her angry just by thinking about it. "This is RIDICULOUS!" she shouted. "We can't get kicked off a bus! It has air conditioning! It's too hot out to walk!! We're all gonna get heat stroke and die, and I'm, I'm going to SUE THIS CAMP! I swear it!!" Unfortunately, nobody seemed to commiserate with her, though this was mostly due to the fact that she was already significantly behind the rest of the group, dragging herself along the trail. "Uggh... this backpack doesn't help... waaaahhhh...." Feuille had been sitting quietly on Sunnie's lap throughout the whole bus ride, and was really beginning to like the girl. She hadn't seen much of her trainer, as she was her newest pokemon and wasn't quite bonded with her yet, but this pitiful outburst of screaming and whining disappointed the Leafeon. "Come on, don't act like it's hard..." she mumbled under her breath. Being an earthy pokemon herself, she rather preferred the walk - nothing pleases a plant pokemon more than a healthy dose of sunlight. At least she could get more of it by sticking with Sunnie; she walked so slowly, she'd probably add another hour on the hike...
