The lizard falls dead, and with that the Gold Dragon roars loud. "Well done, warriors! Well done, indeed!" The dragon's image swirled, as seven swirls of black mist appeared around him. The bodies of the lizards were lifted up and sucked into the vortexes. Soon, however, the black vortexes disappeared, leaving nothing else in the arena but the ground, audience, and fighters. The image of the dragon reappeared, his full body stretching across an entire side of the arena, and his face gazing forward at the warriors. With a monstrous laugh, he said, "And now you face me." The image soon became flesh; the draconian claws shimmering as if made of obsidian, the scales reflecting light as if made of polished gold, and his teeth pointed like hundreds of daggers. He coiled around, his face looking at the warriors. He could fly, but would not until threatened. It would take teamwork to take this beast down. There was no weakspot in his armor, as of yet, but should he lose a scale somewhere, then the fleshy underpart would be revealed. But who would be dumb enough to charge head on against a dragon?

Standing quite still as the dragon appeared, Nukes glances over to his ally, then back to the dragon, and down to his weapon. They would need one hell of a stradegy, or something quite amazing out of the kid's bag.

The dragon laughed and looked at the only one of the three of them who was ready. With his head cocked back, he let loose a hgue fireball that flew with the intensity of a meteor. As it approached Nukes, the heat was enough to scorch the earth below it.

The boy, whom up until this point had been distracted by the giant shininess of the gold dragon (being one who can really appreciate the value of a good 'shiney thing'), finally took a look around at this point.
"Shiney monkey fru fru pita dog! BALLOOON!! scream "
...of course, none of this was really supposed to make sense, excepting in that it made perfect sense to him when he said it, in some bizzare way. Nonetheless, this was followed promptly by the boy's hardheaded charge at the gigantic creature. With the head occupied, the dagron probably wouldn't even notice until the boy had managed to clear most of the distance.

It was true, the dragon didn't notice the boy until he was within reach. Having sent the fireball, the dragon coiled back and prounced at the boy with a scaly, gold claw outstretched. It looked a lot like a clothes-line except that the dragon smacked partially with his claws as well. The dragon's sheer weight would be enough to send the boy flying after it lands, should the attack hit.

((Whoops, I got distracted)) Staring directly at the fire ball, Nukes runs at it, and jumps, slightly to the left, away from his ally. Giving himself just enough momentum to clear the heat from the ball, Nukes lands, sword out, about fifteen feet from the scorched trail on the stadium floor. As soon as he lands, Nukes removes the weapon off his back and also charges at the dragon, but from a slightly diffrent angle, hoping to confuse the dragon yet more.

The dragon's side was the the charging swordsman. He didn't see him. At least, not yet. Still, that gave the swordsman some advantage, though little it was.

((mmk, I'm still not liking the new set-up, it's annoying to navigate.)) While the Dragon had not noticed his movments, Nukes runs at it, the sword trailing behind him as it is only in his right hand, looking for any weakness, other than the dragon's eyes and mouth..

The beast caught the man's approach. He quickly attempted to pull out of the way, but was unsuccessful. It was chaos. The golden reptile utters a loud growl and yells at the man, having avoided a blow to the face. He loosk to see where the man ended up and what he was doing.

((*...*((I don't know what to do to make that any funnier rofl )) ))
Diving under the lizard, Nukes looks up for any imperfections in the golden plates. Not being able to see any missing plates, Nukes lands close to the Dragon's left front leg, steadying himself, Nukes aims a quick stab at the dragon's (finger/ toe?) where the actual claw meets flesh in an attempt to annoy the beast and hopefully cause a fair amout of pain.
((You know, other people are more than welcome to help out ^.^))

The stab hits his flesh, but doesn't embed itself. The creature growls and lifts up the claw, swiping a quick slash at the man's stomache.
