Myia pulled out two arrows and put one in her mouth. She pulled back as she took aim. "1...2...3." She shot the arrow. She missed the one she wanted to hit because it moved. "Dang it!" She cursed almost dropinf the arrown in her mouth.

((I think I'll make one up for the next encounter xd ))

Anaheim had waited long enough. The beasts had charged at both Diana and Maverick again, the one attacking Maverick, quickly recovered from the slash, and used it's body weight to tackle the shield in an attempt to knock him down. The genprey that had attacked Diana simply out-manuevered the swing and pounced from above in an attempt to get past the blade. Another Genprey, the one that was hit in the hip called out to it's Gendrome leader, making it ram into the tree in an attempt to make Myia fall out. However, Anaheim rushed out against one of the Genprey, cutting it down the Genprey easily. "Myia, hold on!" He shouted, with Kota fending off the Genprey as much as he could.

Myia was about read to fire another shot when she felt the tree shake. "What in bloody hell!" She looked down. "The dino rats leader." She growled. "Wooo" She took hold of the tree. "Stop that you beast!" She hissed. "Thanks." She took aim once again. "Move, that dino rat is mine." She said with a harsh tone.

As the Genprey continued their assault, the Gendrome then roared in a different tone, causing the rest of them to fall back. "Yeah, that's right, you better run!" He shouted to them as he kicked off one of the Genprey that was on his blade already. "All right, let's keep going. The camp sight isn't too far off now." He told all of them. Suddenly, he remembered. "Aura!" He told himself, and instantly pulled out a pen and paper. "Listen, Kota, I need you to rush back to the city and deliver this to Aura. And buy her a nice meal, too!" He told him. Kota gave a military salute and dashed off towards the village once again.

Once Kota got into the village, he made his way to the pub and ordered a nice meal consisting of Mosswine Meat, vegetables and pastry. He then made his way to Aura's room, where he tapped on the door with his staff.

"Dear Aura

I'm sorry I'm not able to visit you today, but I've been given a contract to capture both a Rathalos and a Rathian with 3 other hunters. Kota here will take my place for a few days while I'm off, and you'll be the first to visit once I get back to the village. So, tell him exactly what you need from him, and he'll be sure that he gets it.

Anaheim"

Aura smiled as she opened the door, "Anahei--oh just Kota..? and a letter..?" She took the letter from Kota, looking rather disapointed, and read it as she ate the meal. After reading the letter, and finishing the meal she picked up her bow and her arrow pack. "Kota, I feel that today is the day I shall go out." She scribbled a letter that said,

Dear Anaheim,
I hope that I might bring you luck and a bit of a surprise.

She decided to keep it a bit vague so that when he saw her, he would be more surprised, and hopefully happy. She wrapped the letter in twine and gave it to Kota.
"Kota, thank you for the meal, now as you go back to Anaheim to give this letter to him, can you make some sort of trail for me to follow..? But don't let Anaheim know, it's a surprise. Okay?"
She was really fond of Kota, he reminded her somewhat of her parent's companions, and Kota had played a key role in Anaheim's and Aura's friendship due to this fact. He was the ice breaker in the beginning.

Anaheim used part of his armored poncho to wipe off the blade of blood as he confirmed that the Genprey pack and definetly ran off. "Everyone all right?" He asked as he paid attention to Aptonoth, making sure it was calm. He checked for wounds on the beast, glad to know that it was all right. "Good to know you're not harmed, girl." He whispered to it. "We should be able to make it into the campsite within an hour." He told the crew as the enterance to the jungle stood before him.

Kota then gave a nod and a low mew in response, taking the letter and stuffing it into it's pack while it ran off, leaving mosswine bones stuck up in the ground for a trail to follow once he ran off outside the village protective walls.

Maverick sighed as he placed his sheild and sword away "Weak beast, Well then if everyone is ok lets continue already, hey that sleeping poison that they gave to us at the guild, how long does it take to take effect anyways?"
