One minute and thirty seven seconds later gig sat there with impatient, he wanted to finish up his new toy so he could go play with it, so it had felt like hours had passed a real long minute and thirty seven seconds....so gig would speed it up. He would cast wind out of his left hand blowing wind up threw the coal to heat them up a great deal faster, and it worked. Giglamesh would put the first piece of metal all the way in setting it atop the hot coals threw the chip in the clay pot. A crest would form under the barbeque rack, and windd would blast up threw the coals again making the inside of the pot very hot heating and making the sheet of metal red hot. Then bare handed, like a beast, he would remove the first sheet and put in another. As one heated, he would set the red hot piece on the tiny anvil point and begin pounding it to give the curvature of a handle. To make sure it was right he set it in his palm, and began to hammer it some more trying to get the curvature of the handle right. By the time he got it right the other piece was ready to he would take it and do them same trying to get the curve of the two halves to match perfectly. Maybe not perfect but he would get them close to exact same curve then, back in the fire then went and a green wind crest would form again blowing up thew the fire to make them both red hot. He would push the two pieces together and bare handed he would slightly torque them to create the curve in the handle like a handle....he was just blatantly cheating.
While it was red hot, giglamesh would force the guard down on to the two still hot and soft metal halves that would make the handle. The other end he would slide the tip of the anvil, and begin to hammer flattening the two halves in so the metal would would form to the other plate. While it was red hot, no longer but still soft, he was keeping pressure trying to keep them to form together. Still kind of sketchy, but the final step would make more sense. Giglamesh would then repeat the processes one again with the two plates to shape the handles, put them together to create the katana like handle curve with his bare hands and strength. Gig was very much abusing his physical strength, and the nul fire enchantment, the crest with skull pattern on his back never stopped glowing during this entire process. He would slide the guard on to the two halves, and pound the ends to form them together some. So to some it up, gig now hand two oval like cylinders with sai like tips, on tip bent down. One might see how they could be used by....a few hits to the handles would cause them to separate. Grated they should never be hit, but a few hits would break the handles in to pieces. Thats where the next and last black smithing step came in.
Giglamesh would turn over the clay pot and toss the multiple mythrill poles inside. Then set it on top of the fire, and he would again cast wind to flare the coals to heat the as much as possible. While it was getting hot inside the clay pot, it was not enough, so he would then cast fira under the pot the heat and power of those flames were burn and cause stress on the pot. Which was hot enough for his goal, which was to liquify the soft mythril metal. One was not enough, again and again he would cast fira to heat the mythril to the point of liquid. Finally he would take one handle and slowly pour the liquid mythrill down in to the handle till it was nearly full. While making sure to hold one half of the medium he would place it withing the liquid mythril, almost instantly smoke would flare up. But since it was part of gig as he held it, the medium was unharmed but did cool the mythril enough to make it solid. Then He could not let river see it....but he casted a spell she did not know he had...he did not use it because he had not learned the stronger forms of it. gig would cast ice with the handle inside. The heat from the surrounding ice would causes the ice to crack heavily, yet it would also flash freeze the hot mythril. The ice would almost completely melt, yet the mythrill would completely harder withing the handle, thus making the handle solid. He would repeat it once again, filling the second handle with liquid mythril, placing the second half of medium inside, making sure to turn the medium the exact same facing of the other. Why because when the blade was turned the opposite for the two to attach together like he was going to make a single weapon.
Giglamesh would begin to file down all the edges on both handles to make them smooth, there were a few rough edges, a few lumps of mthril squeezed out nothing to big. They looked pretty simple...but they worked, he could use the two handles as weapon as they were...and while temptation called him to play with them...he wanted to finish them more, finish them so he could really use them show em off to river. He would not wait to show them off the her she was going to flip out wanting her own, but she can not has. Gig so ad the troll face grin just thinking about showing them off to her.

Rank: 4 DC: 50 Success rate: 10/20 Requirements: enchant 100, blacksmith 100, concentration 100, wisdom 40 Now the next very simple step wrapping the handles, cake, but he actually started at the top and worked down, because the end cap would be what held it in place. He pulled the long red cloth out from his pockets, separated it placing it against the top of the handle and would begin to take one side around and a time, making sure to keep it extremely tight, crossing it and bringing it back around. Except for the first, the wrap never went completely around only half way before twisting and gong back around to the other side. He would continue this all the way down the handle to its it where he would set it down. He would then remove from his coat a end cap which he had already made before coming out here. Two inter locking parts, which each separated in to two halves. He would put the back over the end of the handle the peg aligned perfectly around the cross medium, and he would then take the top the metal pegs had notches so once they slide within there holes, it would be incredibly hard to separate them, which was exactly what he wanted. With no real blade, there was no point in taking it apart for maintenance except for cleaning the handles as...well thats all they were just handles. He would wrap the second handle exactly like he did first, making sure to take his time despite excitement, better to do it right and take time, then to have to do it over. After wrapping he would set the end caps over as he did before pushing them together locking them in.
Giglamesh would stand up a handle in each hand, what if he made a mistake, what if the them selves? Could the enchantment not work any longer? Mythril almost touch gigs hands so magic should easily flow threw the handles, but it was all a guess. He would angle the handle ends together so the lock, then slide them in for the second lock, and to connect the mediums again. "....ok....here we go...." fira crest would form on the back of giglamesh's hands red light would glow from within the small red gems on the pommels, which were attached for looks.Then....nothing...did it not work? The gems that were also on the guards would glow red then the shape of a blade slowly formed out much like a filling loading bar. A blade formed out of each side of the handles....but...they were different, they curved like katana's....did the mythrill curving curve the blade also. But as giglamesh began to wonder about it, focusing on the blades, they became straight like long sword again. "...the hell?" They were curved he was not imagining it, so why are they not curved now....then as he wondered that they curved again. "You ******** with me?..."
Of course the blade did not reply....yet. But gig would begin to contemplate. When he thought about it being straight...it turned straight...when he though about it curved it curved. Was the magic within his body being guided by his subconscious? He would play with that idea, and it worked, he thought about the blades being straight they would straighten...but if he did not they would curve....but why? It would take a few minutes of gig standing there like a statue to figure it out. He made the handles much like tsuka's (katana handle) maybe subconsciously from touch and memory he thought katana, and thus it shaped like a katana. He though heavily of katana, and guess what...it curved like a katana. Such a mysteriously awesome weapon. Giglamesh would begin to use both hands to spin the blade out infront of himself rapidly, and it would create what looked like a transparent red energy shield. Then much like a pole arm, or bo staff giglamesh would continue to use his finger to spin it around to his side, behind his back where he would lean forward taking it in to left hand and continuing to keep it spinning. Much like he was in combat he would twirl it using both hands slashing one side then turning it to slash the other opposite side. He would get close to a skinny rock and jumping using a mix of corporia and twirling his double sided blade from left hand to right, in a slashing motion slashing threw the rock, before he thrusted his right hand using aerora, blasting a dent blast of wind at the rock, with the combination of the slash separating it from its base the wind pushed the rock back a decent distance where it hit the ground. Then gig came the the amazing realization. (see comic)

Giglamesh would continue to twirl and slash the weapon at nothing, before seperating it in too two, where he would continue to slash at nothing. But it was obvious he had a great deal more experience with duel wielding weapons over a double weapon. Good with double weapon, amazing with duel wielding. He was just a kid in the mountains enjoying himself....but why play...he could go use them in a fight. With that he would ready to go aid river....He looked at the blades after reattaching them...His subconscious could alter it from the enchantment..maybe. Giglamesh would hold the duel blade straight up and down, and focus on the top half of the blade. Sure enough one side of the blade would retract out of one side, then once it fully retracted the top blade would increase in length, almost double. It was like around a great sword size now. .....Giglamesh now covered all the proficiencies in melee weapons he was best with duel wield swords, great sword, and poled like weapons. The third he was not the best at with, but could kill a great many using it that way....was a tear rolling down giglamesh's face? Was the beauty of this weapon so great to gig he was actually crying....nah had to be something in his eye. The large blade would retract, and he would separate the handles sliding them under his belt. Now it was time to find river and show them off....and kill something to gig would assume he would halve to do to possibly But now a conundrum .....he could not use them to hill found river...and it was nasty a** birds...gig had a idea, rather fun one for combating flying creatures.success: 12/10 post: 15/20

Screaming the harpy knew it was facing death. Kicking sand once more in defiance; the harpy refused to give up still. Yelling it’s rage, the harpy wobbled as it flapped it’s wings trying to get some lift once more. Rage enhanced the spell as it aimed the scream attack at the evil human. It was impossible that this tiny human killed her sisters, and is in fact killing me… something is wrong. Many thoughts rushed at her, but killing this child was the only thing she wanted to do.

Her mind actually started designing outfits. A way to keep amused. Feathers might be a good addition. She thought, then refocused. It was annoying it took so long to fight these creatures. But! Not being one who gave up; River attacked with a spell of her own. Electricity crackled as it arched towards the winged creature. Proving the element was a trickster in its own right, the spell moved unpredictably as it followed River’s aim. Her hand tickled as the spell finished, and again she felt a strange presence for just a moment when she called the element. River tried to ignore it, but over the last few years they were getting louder and louder. She remembered her first time, when she was still a toddler. She gripped the bat as she spun trying to get some speed to crack the harpy’s head. She turned as she felt another presence and had the feeling she would be having a guest soon. Twisting her wrist she aimed the bat a little having the nozzle aimed where she struck then she fired a grenade pointblank range. She would be surprised if it missed, but with her luck she would not be surprised if things take yet another turn. «Ma-✓ Pa-✓ Ra-✓ ண used 15/30 15/30 3/6¤ »

╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ ☠Giglamesh: HP 3480|MP 1160|AP 1160| EB 22+30(haste)|DF 20|MDF 95☠ ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ Giglamesh would walk collect his tools he was using while creating the magic weapon and return them to a tool box on the open compartment over then engines. Giglamesh knew the best way to deal with the disgusting bird women, but he had to decided. Looking in the compartment of the massive motorbike was like looking in to a portable armory. A massive amount of explosives , and a large amount of varied bullet for his different guns. Now the best way to deal with a hovering harpy....which river was probably not doing, was shoot them out of the sky. Real simple you miss, then then fly straight at you making them easier to hit...knowing river she was out there slashing and stabbing, before she shot, no matter. "Now...which to use.....Hannabira?...no not enough accuracy, kagetsu would be best option for range and accuracy....but...it would have to reload way to many time. So i guess a test run is in order." Gig was referring to the Xm-29 he had acquired a while back, yet had only used it a few times in training and not once durring a mission.
He would pull the rifle off his lower back and set it on the closer open side of the motorbikes trunk like compartment. "Ok Incendiary grenades would be best to burn away there feathers...but since i plan on going long distance there accuracy would fall to much...and since those suckers are expensive...ill stick to cheap ones. Now thirty rounds per clip...but what ammo type...Perhaps incendiary to burn away the feathers to assist in the free fall....nah generally from the heat and height of the mountains they can be resistant to the heat...perhaps tracer so if i miss i will know how much to correct to hit the target....yet they would also find me sooner. hmmm...Explosive tipped would work wonders, but those are always a bit to risky for me...plus in this heat out here might be a chance they would back fire in the chamber....So H.v. .......from a three round burst rifle...somewhat suicidal on my part...but great damage and the bullets will hit long before the stupid bird hears it coming...plus i might as make use ot that adamantite barrel i got for use with it.....but my shoulders going to be killing me...."
Giglamesh would pop apart the O.I.C.W. and slide out its normal composite steel barrel, for a backup adamantite barrel. One of the hardest known substances which would be needed to be firing three round bursts of high velocity rounds, rounds which normally one shot would dislocate untrained peoples shoulders. Those that could fire bursts, or full auto h.v. rounds usually never lasted long because the bullet itself had such power it would begin to bend the barrel after one of two clips. Thinking ahead giglamesh got this barrel in hopes it would resist the high velocity rounds power....even still...because it fetched a pretty penny he was going to be careful...and cheap with these rounds. Giglamesh stood there loading multiple clips with the High velocity ammo one bullet at a time, carefully yet quickly putting them in the clips. After loading multiple clips, he would begin to slide them in to pockets along the inside of his coat, and under his sash. Aftrer grabbing a few spare grenade clips also, and after putting the Xm-29 back together with the admantite barrel he would throw the shoulder strap over his neck rest the rifle at his front right side. With his left hand he would slide out one half of the magic weapon, he couldnt wait to show river yet....hoped he would not need it here. He would grab his demon bone mask putting the string behind his head and setting it in place over the left side of his face, he reached down to grab one final item. Slipping it on with the masks horn protruding threw the hole first he set his hat on his head and was ready to go. In to the valley he would begin to walk after closing the motorbikes trunk like compartment. Gig didnt make it far before he took the rifle in a combat stance and shouldered the rifle and began looking threw the scope, zooming in and out looking for his first free fall target.

╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ ☠Giglamesh: HP 3480|MP 1160|AP 1160| EB 22+30(haste)|DF 20|MDF 95☠ ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ It was only a few moments before he crossed the crosshair with a hovering harpy. Giglamesh watched it for a few seconds it was....acting weird. He moved the scope around and saw more doing the same. H would zoom in more on them till they digital scope zoomed in close to there breasts...a single trickle of blood from his nose and a grin, but he shook it off and zoomed out some reestablishing focus. "Three hundred and fifty meters out...hovering above the ground around two hundred meters..but...why so high? If i remember right there range limit is around two fifty meters then...why so high they could miss something....and there just hovering....not moving...are they looking for something, maybe river?....No there staying ...away from something....but what?" Giglamesh watched the harpy circle in place for around a minute, yet it only circled in place, constantly moving its head looking down torwards the ground.
With a sigh adjust the magnification level to make sure he was right at a good distance. The scope on this rifle was amazing, it could zoom out to 1k meters, change from nightvision, to thermal, and even x-ray and telescoping. Such amazing tech....which was why he had to keep it on him at all times to keep it safe from river. Giglamesh had not use it much in fights, in fact...he had not used it in a fight yet...and if all goes according to plan he wont today either. With the prior tests he made when off missions he found that at around six hundred meters the bullets began to heavily lose accuracy, even though the scope zoomed up to one thousand. Not quite sniper rifle range, but with the high tech scope it nearly doubled the range of this gun. Giglamesh would slide his right foot back pushing soil to act as a step to brace, he would aim the crosshair around midsection of the harpy, with the kick and range the target was away the three round burst would cause each shot after the first to bounce up. Yet his goal was not to kill it one shot...simply to clip its wings. Giglamesh would close his eye for a few seconds then take a deep breath and tighten his muscles, he would open his eye and still as he could be squeeze the trigger. Like a cannon fire spewed out from the barrel pushing him back, yet with no break the second would go off spiting out from from the barrel tip, the third with less remorse then the second pushing him back the most. The sound was deafening and would ring threw the valley, but it was so loud it was hard to tell where it came from. Even with bracing giglamesh's feet had slid back three inches from where he braced himself and fired. He let loose three extremely fast bullet, but was his shots on target?

[Trip successful]
The harpy never saw it coming it only felt something wiz passed its left side, then suddenly the and massive chunk was ripped out of its right from the force of the passing bullet. A second passed under it flapping with with not effect, but as the harpies wing flapped down a third object flew right threw the harpies left bicep, and almost instantly the force would cause skin, muscle, bone, and feather to disappear a food diameter around where the object passed threw because of the incredibly force. The creature never saw it coming and could not even react and gravity brought the bird woman rapidly to its grave head first. As it hit the one of the valleys cliff top, the fall from so high had such force that as its head hit it head literally exploded upon impact shooting its eye out of there sockets before the bone gave way under weight, speed, and pressure. The force from the fall caused its legs and lower have to break the spine laying over on its back, the bending caused the midsection to rip spewing out its entrails as it right wing to flap about from neurons randomly firing from such fast and incredible trauma. It was dead the second its head hit the rocky cliff top, all the later was just the effect from the fall.
Giglamesh watched it free fall all the way down to confirm its death and upon its gruesome demise, he picked his nose and flicked a booger. He would then begin his walk in to the valley, there were many sharp rocks that had fallen off the cliff walls over time, but he hated birds with a passion so even a gruesome death was not enough for them, in gigs eye.

The valley is my home… it’s bad enough the foul one showed up… but this human was just as bad. The harpy moaned as she tested her wings. She had realized she should have run away back when she still could fly. She tried accepting her death but as she stood there shivering from pain, pounded with fear that replaced the earlier anger… she wanted to live. The valley was a happy place once. Back when she played with her sisters and lived in peace. She remembered the jagged wall on both sides had nests with young hatchlings trying to learn to fly. Everyone was happy and in peace. No silly invaders, no demands for sacrifice. The harpy clawed weakly taking a few steps back as she bowed to the victor. If she was able to leave now, she still could live another day. The human looked… what was the word… skeptic? The harpy knew one risky way that could end this fight so she turned her back on the human and started limping off away from the girl. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ ✿River:HP-2760-142 MP-574-55 AP-550-25 EB-11+5 DR-7+10+5 MDR-7+80✿ ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ River raised her eyebrow when the harpy bowed. Uh… She thought unsure if this was a trap or a show of defeat. The harpy turned and limped off, not looking back. Well… huh… River thought and she picked up her case for Helheim. She waited for the harpy to walk off a bit more before she started to jog towards the crater. She hoped that there were no more fights coming. Making good headway, River nearly was at the crater. The pathway shrunk the closer she got, then it took a sharp twist and a small hole leaving a slim person like River able to sneak in. Anyone else would struggle, climb or fly like the harpies. Just before she entered the doorway, a harpy screamed from above and dived, aiming both talons at River. Sighing River took out her gunblades before she shot at the harpy 18 times in annoyance; nine from each gun. «Ra-✓ Pa-✓ Ra-✓ Ra-✓ Pa-✓ Ra-✓ Ra-✓ Pa-✓ Ra-✓ Ra-✓ Pa-✗ Ra-✗ Ra-✗ Pa-✓ Ra-✓ Ra-✗ Pa-✗ Ra-✓ ண used 24/30 24/30 3/6¤ »
