i don't care what people say, chaos sorceror is not banned. it wasn't even limited or semi limited the 3 1/2 years it was out. then it's suddenly banned, screw the rules, i can understand chaos emp and black luster soilder, but chaos sorceror, he only has one effect and not alot of attack points. he can't even remove face downs from play. so cheap, just banning him without warning. and why nobleman of crossout limited? if it's limited why isn't nobleman of extermination limited? and night assailant, wtf did they limit that for? it was perfectly fine having two to a deck. and first graceful charity is banned, now it isn't, what's next? are the going to ban tornado wall and a legendary ocean for making water decks too powrrful? come on, they might as well ban blue eyes ultimate for lack of effect. it's insane to ban and or limit perfectly good cards that don't put the duel in your favor. and wtf is this? the sacred beasts aren't banned, limited or semi limited, they strnger than the egyption gods for petes sake.

Go to metagame.com and read some of the articles there they are really helpful. And seriously, why b***h and moan about a ban list when you can just play traditional?

because i like playing with 8000 life points and some of those cards are banned for a good reason. but chaos sorceror, if anything was to be changed about, should at most semi limited.

Chaos sorceror was a broken card from the beginning, and that's why it got banned.

what does broken mean?

'Broken' in this context refers to a card whose abilities are too unbalanced to keep the game fair. Being able to destroy(RFG?) monsters simply by not having that monster attack is definitely unbalanced. x_x If it were skipping your entire Attack Phase, maybe it could've been Restricted.

I agree with the missing the entire attack phase thing.

Shaos sorceror can simply clear a path for a much stronger monster with basically no imparement to yourself. Its just a good card. Maybe with higher summoning restrictions I could see it restricted down to one, but seeing as how it fits into the harmony of the rest of the chaos monsters, Chaos decks in themselves are broken. With things like Dimension Fusion, after you've paid the only cost for Chaos monsters, it turns that summoning cost right around into a dead on advantage at only 2K Lp's

at least dark magician of chaos hasn't been banned yet.

Well, see, DMoC's effect isn't extraordinarily powerful compared to its cost for summoning, and unless there's some kind of weird house rule where you're playing, you can't attack your own monsters to make use of its battle-induced effect for your own benefit. A strong card, yes, but not the kind that needs to see banning. (i hope >.>)

Yeah, Its a little dumb that they did that. I guess its just because theres no negitave effect, and you have too much freedom.

I think what they try to do with Ban lists is stop people from running 'Staple Cards' Which in reality, they don't <_<. They just allowed a bunch of Exiled forces and Lightning Voxtexes to be in everyones decks so...e_e

Not entirely sure. I think they're just trying to stop people from using control decks for some reason whee
