Oujay saw a being in the corner of his eye who looked familiar. He turned his head to find out who the person is and to see if he knew that person. "Miledy?" he thought as he couldn't really recognize her. Her head was turned away and she was walking in the other direction. She also would have looked different since she was not on a wyvern. Therefore, he could not tell so he just turned his head back and faced forward.
A girl with Teal Hair had walked into their group. She looked like she was friends with the other people in the group, whom Oujay did not really talk to, except for Teifi, but that was just a greeting. He was just staying quiet as the other people were talking and he just listened in. Oujay was more of a listener anyways. He heard that Amelia was from some place called Grado. He had never heard of that place before. It was surely not any place that was back at where he came from.
Suddenly there was a bit of raucous as one of the people working here at the restaurant was trying to block out some creature. "He wasn't sure if it was a dog or some other animal," but he just looked at the scene for a little while and turned his attention back to what was going on around the table.
Right after that another commotion occurred. This man had walked in and started talking loudly and trash to the waiter. Oujay was a little surprised by this man's way of talking. First he usually doesn't hear people talking like that and second, Oujay is used to seeing people treat others nicely, like how he does. He blinked when he heard a lot of profanity from the man's mouth. "Wow..." he thought as he just turned his head away from looking at that man. "I better not get involved with that guy," he thought as he looked in a different direction.
A waiter walked next to him and gave him his food that he ordered. Oujay thanked the waiter as he walked away. He looked back forward and downward at his food that he ordered. He just realized he ordered something weird. He got soup, but had also gotten a drink, when he could already drink out of the soup. Oujay looked at his food as he realized what he did. "Oh well," he whispered as he picked up the spoon next to his soup. He got some of the soup with his spoon and ate some of it. The soup tasted interesting to Oujay, since he really didn't eat things like this back where he came from, but he had to get used to the new food here.

Amelia ate slowly, watching all of the proceedings in interest. Dinner and a show, she thought with a grin. Well, lunch. She watched first as Castello leaped up from his chair, inadvertantly causing a waiter to dump soup on Sue. Amelia would have gotten up to help, but she knew someone would help, and she suspected one of the travelers would have had her sit right back down anyway. Amelia listened idly as she ate, first to Castello cooing to the large gwyllgi, then to Kyros carrying him over. If... if he talks, he can't be bad.
It was hard to ignore Ledreak, what with the shouting about 'b***h liquor' and then his raucous eating. He seemed to have calmed down noticeably once all of his food was gone, though. She shook her head at the offer for his barbecue sauce, going quietly back to her potato. She also turned down Jyoti's offer for her food; all the better that Evelyn's gwyllgi (Triumph, apparently) wanted it. Amelia smiled and turned back to her food. She didn't really feel like talking, so she just ate. Good food here, Amelia decided, smiling. She paused in chewing a bite of her steak as Teifi spoke to her.
”There aren't enough helpful people enough in the world, these days.”
Amelia smiled and shook her head. “No, there are. You just have to look.” Amelia turned back to her plate, finishing her steak. The silence had afforded her a nice stretch to eat. The General vaguely wondered if she had eaten too quickly as she turned back to her potato. She lifted her head, though, when she heard Teifi's voice again.
"How long do these festivities last, do you think? We need to be finding that Inn and reserving it for at least that many days, should it go beyond one."
Amelia shrugged one shoulder. She couldn't recall the last festival she had attended for this sort of thing, so she couldn't be certain. “Ah... I'd say a few days, maybe. A week at the very most.” Amelia took a bite of her potato. She chewed, swallowed, and looked back at Teifi. “The inn should be right nearby, actually. I think next door... I didn't get a good look at the sign, but it looked like the inn.”

Ledreak's arrival was the last straw for him. He couldn't help laughing out loud at the scene in the restaurant, but Domanova looked a lot more like he was going into convulsions, his laughter coming out in harsh squeaks. It'd always been that way. He recalled someone teasing him for it a long time ago, but...he couldn't remember who anymore.
He paused and felt a strange pang in his heart. How...unsettling. The sage stabbed at a cherry tomato in his salad and popped it in his mouth, the red fruit bursting between his teeth.
But the moment passed, and he was back to the joy of being in old company. Domanova gazed about the room fondly, briefly waving at Ledreak. And Triumph's appearance was, as they said, the icing on the cake--just as fascinating a phenomenon as Charles! It appeared that the undead were a bit less vulnerable to the tests of time...He set down his fork and muttered to Charles that he'd be back in a moment. The sage's eyes, narrowed slightly and hidden a little beneath his messy mop of brown hair, darted to those of his friend as he rose, smiling again.
"Triumph!" he called, rushing over to the creature, "How fare you, my friend?"

Sue was at first alarmed to see the the monster just trounce in, but then she figured out that it belonged to someone. What an odd pet to keep.
The nomad continued to eat, no mostly silent. She felt so out-of-place here, as all these newcomers seemed to know each other, and she was just kind of... there. Besides, it just wasn't the same at any table anymore. Not without Rath.

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤Jyoti smiled lightly. "Alright then. Thank you, Triumph!" She stood up and pushed her chair in, carrying the plate of food over to Truimph. As amusing as it would have been to just slide it over to the gwyllgi and have him go at it, it would have been rather rude and possibly rather chaotic and messy, with the sticky sauce, melon slices, and pork.
Though it would have been totally worth it if Teifi had gotten messy in the process.
The valkyrie held the plate of food out for the gwyllgi to eat. Better to have someone (or something) eat it than to let it go to waste, right? And she was more than happy to give the food to the gwyllgi; she liked Evelyn and Triumph. They were two close companions of hers. It was as simple as that. "Here you go! Enjoy!" Jyoti told Triumph cheerfully.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

"She gave it a name." Sue muttered, curiously. "So... Miss Jyoti... how did you train Triumph? I'm fascinated that you got him to be so reserved and controlled... hyper, but controlled all at once." The nomad stared at the Gwyllgi, puzzled. "What I mean to say is that he's not wrecking havoc. I've never seen one of his kind do such a thing."

When the valkyrie realized what Sue was asking, she shook her head. "Oh, no, no, no! You've got it wrong!" She waved an arm back and forth, another hand holding the plate steady. "I didn't train Triumph! That'd be Evelyn..." She laughed sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck with one hand. "No, I don't think I could do something like that... It took me long enough to control my old horse!" She smiled lightly, remembering some rather... interesting moments with Victory, both in Magvel and this world. She had about two or so years of difficulty with Victory, but after all of that they became nearly impossible to separate.
Except we did get separated. Jyoti thought bitterly, though still keeping the smile on her face.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

Uncle Canas "Oh my," Canas exclaimed as he looked up from his book. "It has gotten quite noisy in here all of the sudden. I wonder what the occassion is?" The group that came in seemed to be the ones causing the stir. He didn't know any of them. And it wasn't his place to reprimand them. Closing his book, he also closed his eyes and sighed. He firmly placed the book under his arm and fixed his askew monocle. He walked swiftly past the group, nearing the back when he tripped, taking a spill with a dull thud.
"Oh....ow...That hurt," He whined. He looked up, hair in a fritz and a defeated look on his face. "Can I go anywhere without tripping?" He wasn't sure how others would react, he stated as he looked up from his spot on the ground, "I'm allright. nobody panic." He noticed someone with green hair nearby and glanced over.
His eyes were playing tricks on him, they had to be! It couldn't be! But it is! This is a dream! But she is right there!
"Nino? Little Nino," He asked and scrambled for his monocle, putting the cracked lens over his eye for a better view.
"NINO!"
He got up and rushed forward, reaching his arms out to his niece, whome he hadn't seen for so long. It was back during the crisis with Nergal that he had last seen the girl. And now she was back. The only family he had left.

<[ – K Y Ř O Ş – ]> o[-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------]o -...I can change your life, rest assured...- "I have seen love in vain..." "...I have felt the pain..." Kyros reclined ever so slightly in his chair, his appetite quenched, his first meal in far too long an enjoyable one. As his eyes wandered through the restaurant, a content smile on his lips, relaxation in his calm eyes, he saw the hustle and bustle of the outside leak inwards, a man tripping near a table filled with some of the crowd from before. The klutzy man, likely a scholar due to the monocle, flailed about, creating more of a ruckus over the little green-haired girl than his group had the whole time. Well, maybe not Ledreak. Still, it was quite the commotion for such a man.
A dull throb in the back of his head. Not quite a headache, more of a feeling... a compulsion... as if he'd the feeling that something was forgotten. Something important, something vital. Like the time he left the stove on and went grocery shopping, but worse. His stomach began to turn, a sick feeling arising in his body. Quickly, he stood up, stretched his arms, and walked around Jyoti and Evelyn, behind Amelia and Teifi. Using a portion of his booming voice, he spoke loud enough that his rambunctious table could hear, though the surrounding people likely could not.
"Kids, we've gotta go. Now." He bent down, crouched between the General and Dancer, putting an arm around the motherly woman. Kyros snatched Teifi up, placing her on his shoulder as he'd done with Jyoti and Amelia before. As he stood back up, he sent a nod towards Castello. "Castello, kindly handle the bill. The rest of you, let's go."
Turning, he walked out the door, bending his knees slightly as he passed so that Teifi could fit as well without issue. Ignoring the passerby, he waded through the crowd, his mind set on this compulsion. Sure, he could be wrong, and if he was, he'd make it up to the kids. Homemade dinner, most likely. But, the what-ifs of the future depended on the present. So, Kyros pressed on, disappearing from the crowds, making his way towards the manor on the hill, its gaze overlooking the lively town as a parent watches a newborn child. "...Torn by desire..." "...Lead by the fire..." (I know what it means to burn.) o[-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------]o <[ – S A V O R • T H E • M O M E N T – ]>

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello was, predictably, tearing through a spicy orange-flavored beef dish. Even this was managed with a bit of class; the man was handsome, and he knew how to make it work for him in any situation. Somewhere between his awakening and his arrival in the restaurant, he had apparently obtained enough gel to style his hair into the characteristic pompadour that had become an integral part of his infamous look, and it swayed almost calculatedly as he sat back, glancing down the table toward Amelia. He looked a bit thoughtful, then smirked and waved at her before picking the wooden utensils up in his right hand and sliding them into place between his fore and middle fingers and his thumb.
He had just picked up a little pepper an was going to dare Triumph to eat it when he blinked and froze, like his mind was elsewhere.
"Someone... needs me," he murmured mostly to himself, sounding a bit perplexed. "I need to go, now," he added as if to confirm to himself that this was true, even as he stood. He frowned, brow furrowed as he dropped Annis wallet on the table with a loud thump and a chorus of coins sliding against one another. He couldn't think of anything he had to hurry for. Come to think of it, he couldn't ever remember hurrying, ever. So why the sudden need...
His feet weren't stopping to wait for his brain. He had already strode quickly out of the restaurant and leapt into the air. His wings spread and in a flurry of sable feathers he shot into the sky.

"YO! HEY!!" He shouted. "There ain't no way yo'r leaving me here, Castello baby!" He got up, put his hands on the table. "Looks like I won't have that waitress to go." He sighed, displeased, but stood up straight, looked at the exit. Seemed a bit far to go, different that when Ledreak stepped inside. His person moved towards it, as he approached the exit, the owner stopped him. Well, tried to stop him.
"You'll pay for your meal, like it or not, rude one!" His words bellowed onto Ledreak.
In response, he shouted, "AM I GONNA HAVTA CHOKE YA? YO SERVICE NEARLY FORGOT THA BARBECUE SAUCE! ******** ASSBLASTING CUNTS." The owner stepped back, he couldn't challenge Ledreak's words, or strength, he knew. Instead, he formulated in his head wanted posters, and banning posters to put up to prevent this again.
Ledreak was free from the restaurant, but had to run to catch up to Castello. He never said anything, he just walked behind him, looking pissed.

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤Jyoti smiled softly, placing the plate back on the table after the food was completely devoured by Triumph. She ran a hand through her hair boredly, hovering around Evelyn and Triumph instead of going back to her seat; she didn't feel like sitting down.
Kids, we've gotta go. Now.
Jyoti gave a slight nod, turning her attention over to Amelia. "It was nice meeting you, Amelia. See you later maybe?" She gave the blonde general a smile and a nod and then left, following Kyros, Teifi, and Castello. On her way out, she noticed the horse that Ledreak had gotten (er, stolen) and nearly did a double-take; it looked just like Victory! And it was now her horse, too. She quickly patted the horse's head and then pulled herself on to the horse's back.
Just like old times. She thought with a small chuckle, riding off in the direction of the manor.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

Nino was hugged by someone suddenly, and blinked up, confused. It took her a moment to recognize him. After a moment, she answered. "Uncle Canas?!" She exclaimed. "Where did you come from? Did you come through the door?!"

Anelia watched in silence as the people around her continued to interact, all watched over by Kyros. He sat back in his chair, like a content cat observing his domain. The gwyllgi nearby was given what of Jyoti's food she hadn't eaten (the amount left astonished Amelia, made her wonder how much she actually ate of any meal), and Amelia glanced over at Castello as he tilted his head. His hair shifted from the movement, and he lifted a hand to wave, a very casual movement. Amelia hesitated for a split second, then gave a wave of her own hand before looking back to her food. There wasn't much left now; as she picked up her fork, she tried to figure out some thread of conversation so she wouldn't be sitting like a moron and watching people.
Her attention diverted to her thought processes was enough to distract her from Kyros standing, but his footsteps approaching her chair caused her to look up, then back at the red-headed man. His voice was quiet (well, quiet for him), though she could hear him easily. "Kids, we've gotta go. Now." Teifi, this time, was on his shoulder in seconds, and Amelia hesitated before rising from her chair. She was probably involved in this group. Were they that anxious to reach the inn?
“I can go ahead and lead you guys to the inn now,” Amelia tried before kneeling down to pick up her lance. They were already heading out the door when she pulled herself up. Amelia looked over to the others; Nino was busy now with a purple-haired man, and Sue and the others were busy talking. Amelia looked back to the travelers. At least make sure where they're going... it's easy to get lost here. Amelia jogged after them.
Her expression shifted from curiosity to surprise, then back to a reserved curiosity as she saw them heading up the hill... towards Fefga's manor, where it sat pleasantly on the hill. Why are they going there? Amelia wondered. She looked back to the travelers; they were far up the street now, Castello a blur of black in the sky. Amelia slowly started after them. She didn't want to intrude now, but they were going to her home, for crying out loud; Amelia wanted to know for what reason, exactly, they were going there.

•I bear the seed of ruin… •A golden age turned to stone… вєαѕтмιѕтяєѕѕ єѴєℓYη Sometimes I wonder why they need me at all! … For this, a tragic journey• … A vision of a dying embrace• Somehow, the waiter managed to get Evelyn’s food to her among the chaos Triumph had caused; not to say it was an easy task for the meek man. Just by looking though, Evelyn could tell she had chosen an expensive meal; luckily for her though, she wasn’t the one doing the paying. Pleasant surprise colored her face as she looked over the dish: a lobster tail, already taken from the shell, steak, cooked medium well, and a side of steamed, mixed vegetables. Not to mention the melted butter that came with the lobster, but that was customary.
”Trouble?” Triumph had to snicker at that; it was a deep laugh that made a sort of rumbling noise. Sure he had kept of out it, but when it came to causing it, well… one druid was going to have a nice little present when he woke up. ”I sure have mama Teifi.” It wasn’t a complete lie, for as soon as he had been left alone, he only traveled on his own for about a year before settling in the mountains for a long nap. That nap was over now though seeing as his friends had returned to the world of the living.
”I have been well; well enough to poop on people that is.” He nodded with one of his heads as one of the others leaned over and used its tongue to snatch away the rest of Evelyn’s steak, which was about half. ”Can I take it you’ve fared the same?”
When Jyoti had brought the food over for the monster, Triumph was more than delighted to… take it off her hands, which he quite literally did. With a single motion from one of the heads the plate had been cleared, heck the plate wasn’t even in Jyoti’s hands anymore. Triumph had not only eaten everything on the plate, but the plate itself, before the girl even got the chance to place it on the table!
Evelyn stood up from her seat as the others began announcing their leave and proceeded to follow suit. Her plate wasn’t even cleared yet, but Triumph was sure to take care of that for her; why waste food after all? Before leaving she turned to Sue, so that she could entertain the girl’s curiosity. “You could say he almost trained himself,” the girl said as a devilish smile wandered onto her lips. ”Triumph, we should be off as well,” Evelyn said as she climbed onto the Gwyllgi’s back before the two strode out of the restaurant and headed in the direction the others had gone.
