"Well how manys it take?" the drunk shouted, staggering further towards Mik. Sei's orb reached his feet as he started after the angel; he stumbled sideways and back again, narrowly missing the ball. He gained is equilibrium (or as close to it as he could manage) and headed in a roughly straight line, stepping directly on the sphere.
He slipped, feel backward, and landed on his rump with a bemused expression on his face. "You bring back more food!" he yelled pointing rougly to one side of Mik. "And you bring back more liquor!" he continued, pointing to the other side. Then he spotted what he'd tripped on and reached drunkenly for it.

Sei kept the ball rolling - so to speak - though the trajectory of the orb continued in a straight line, zooming just as the drunken guard had reached out for it.
It continued it's path in the opposite direction than both teens where at - hoping that the man would follow the pretty shiny moving object and forget all about the angel. And when he ran out of range... well...
He would have to leave it here, he realized - though who would suspect what looked to be a small marble ?
Hopefully not a bunch of drunken guards.

Mik responded simply by waving an affirmative while he kept on running. Hopefully, that would be enough, and he wouldn't do anymore yeling. It wouldn't do to draw the attention of someone more sober.

The drunk kept reaching after the ball while trying to stay sitting. Soon he ended up on his stomach grabbing after the shiny sphere that managed to stay well out of reach. "Co'back here," he ordered the ball. It didn't listen and he started to inchworm-crawl after it.
Both bracelets started to glow again, signaling two hours since the teen's arrival.

When the man had turned his back to him to follow the orb, Sei darted - carefully - from his hiding place, eyes locked in that direction, eventually catching up with Mik - the one gap in his circle of orbs most likely revealing just what had the drunk's attention.
"Well." He muttered. "Can you see how far the walls go ? Is there a way to get around them or climb them without being seen ? I have to keep looking that way or the orb will stop, and mister drunkface there might turn around again..."

"All they way around, I'm guessing," he answered, eyeing Sei's circle of orbs. Huh. So that was what had gotten the man's attention.
This time, he noticed his bracelet glow, and suddenly realized that might be a problem. Not wanting to take any chances that it might attract attention in the dark, he slipped it off and into his pocket.

The drunk was now sprawled out flat and had given up trying to crawl after the orb. Not that he didn't want it anymore, he just flailed at it sputtering for it to come back. Any more alchohol in his system now and he'd be passed out.
From the west came a shrill, faint scream. Most likely, the couple had run across the guard. The reveler's at the nearby gate wouldn't be able to hear it; whether any other guards could was unknown.

Likewise, he did the same, warned by the Mik's movement at the side of his vision. When the guard stopped, he turned, leaving the orb a fair distance away from the man, and not retrieving it. Instead, one orb floated in his palm and splintered, forming two slightly smaller ones.
The blonde, however, frowned when he heard the scream. The guard ! They'd forgotten to hide the...
"s**t." He muttered, sharply. "Can you try to find a safe spot and fly over it ? Ill find my own way inside."
He wasn't completely sure how, but... If at least one of them got in, it was better than nothing.

Great. Every time they got past one thing, something else happened. At Sei's suggestion, he bit his lip, but soon nodded. "I can try." Flying over the wall, in and of itself, shouldn't be a problem...it was getting a spear or something thrown at him that had him worried. "I'll see you inside, then."
Mik set off at a run, then leapt into flight - the faster he could get this over with, the better he'd feel.

So far there wasn't an observable response response to the scream. The guard Sei knocked out hadn't woken up yet and even in an emergency the couple was slow.
The walls of the main palace were slightly higher than the outbuildings. The stream ran right beneath the walls in the south so the main building had a higher foundation. With the raised ceilings and roofs, it was almost two stories.

Even as the angel moved to take flight, Sei remained still - taking a good of a look as he was able to, to see if there was any irregularities he could use to climb the wall, or trees branches that reached far and high enough for him to drop down.

Rather than fly straight over, Mikhail decided to land on the roof; while he'd gotten considerably better at landing since he'd first met Seung, however, he didn't do a whole lot of landing on roofs, and never on this kind. Though he didn't do anything totally disastrous, like lose his footing and go tumbling right off, he did slide a little and make some noise.

Inside the palace courtyard, one of the guards looked up at the noise Mik's landing made. After a long moment of staring, he shrugged and moved on. His patrol was almost over; follow the stream, cross the bridge, and get to the main gatehouse and he'd be finished for the night. Some of his friends were having a party and maybe tonight he wouldn't miss it for once.
From Sei's vantage point, there was only one stand of trees that came close to the palace wall's, at the southernmost point. It would be a jump to get from the tree to the wall however. The palace walls were stone at the foundation, then wood panels separted by pillars, with a multitude of decorated wooden crosspieces right under the roof. At regular intervals there was an open, decorated hole in the wood panel in the top third for a window. The only break in the foundation was a metal gate where the water flowed through.

Climbing would be... difficult at best. The trees... there was a chance he could do the jump, if he managed to get the speed he needed... and if the branch would be able to support his height.
No, no, that wouldn't work.
But the water... flowed -under- the wall.
Hmmm.
Carefully, he slid his way to the lake, and once there, stepped in and willingly let himself sink to the bottom, heading for the gate.
That happened to have a lock on it.
Good thing he had no worries about breathing.
The blonde positioned himself, legs against the gate, mentally redirected all the energy he could to his limbs - the orbs falling down to the bottom of the lake, all but useless - and pulled as hard as he could manage, much more strongly than one his shape should have been able to do, hoping to break the lock or pull the gate out.
Whichever happened first.

Mik waited where he was for a a few minutes, until he was relatively sure that no one had heard him...or that if someone had, they'd decided to ignore it. He climbed up the roof more carefully than he'd landed on it, determined not to make anymore noise, until he could peer over and see if there was anyone on the other side of the wall.
