Xar couldn't help but smile widely at her words. He had a feeling she would probably try to stuff him until he died from overstuffing. That was a pleasant thought for a change.
"I'll look forward to it Chavi, see you later!" Xar replied waving and then took the plate willingly from Jyses and following him eagerly out of the dining room.
"Do you and her always threaten each other like that?" Xar asked curiously as they left the room. "I do think she is rather interesting and definitely an amusing sort." He added with a happy smile.

"Mmm, for the most part yes. It has just evolved into teasing banter now. Her twin is much the same way, we show we care by exchanging creative insults till we end up wrestling." He wasn't going to admit it often ended up with him on his a** as they ganged up on him.
"Yeah...Chavi seemed to like you. Here everyone does menial chores unless you scheme, threaten, or bribe your way out of them." Jysayne grinned.

"Ah." Xar replied shaking his head with a grin on his lips. "Sounds like that would be fun. Though..I bet more often than naught the two of them gang up on you. Females tend to do that at times."
Xar pulled a piece of roast off and put it in his mouth chewing it slowly and savoring the taste. It was delicious. He snuck another piece as they continued up the long winding stairs to another story. He hoped they would get to Jyses quarters' soon as he was starving and couldn't wait too much longer before he downed the rest of the food on the plate he held in his hands.
"She did? hmm..that's nice." Xar commented thinking over Jyses last words before asking with a quirky look on his face.
"So then you've learned to scheme your way out of menial chores?"

"They do...wrestling with my cousin is a lot easier. No one dares gang up when your wrestling with Illy." He closed his eyes, giving a small snicker. "Most people tend to give me a wide brerth after that."
Jysayne bypassed two staircases before starting up a third skinny one. "Just to warn you, ask before you use any of the stairs. Some lead to blind ends and others you are not allowed to use. This one leads straight to part of the dorms so it's narrow, makes it easy to defend."
"Yup, I tend to find the list before it's posted and change a few things with ink. It's a bit of a climb so I really don't care if you munch as we walk."

Xar laughed. "I can see why people would want to leave Illy alone. He is a rather formidable individual."
Xar followed Jyses closely, not really thinking of the staircases they passed until the other warned him of them. Then he turned to gaze at them with a speculative glance. He had heard of such things before so it didn't strike him as strange.
"Good to know. I shall keep to whatever stairs you tell me to. I wouldn't want to disappear in this place." He replied with a small shudder.
He chuckled at Jyses' next words. "Smart of you. Does anyone ever suspect that you've changed it?"
He munched slowly as they continued up the staircase. It wasn't too hard of a climb, but Xar could see how Jyses might consider it a bit of a climb, especially to his untrained body and eye. Xar was used to climbing up narrow rocky trails without many notches so a narrow staircase wasn't that hard for him to manage. He just hoped that no one would be coming down the staircase as they were going up. He really didn't want to lose his plate full of food before he managed to polish it off.

"Illy not so much formidable then he is unpredicable. That where people tend to get wary. Most of the time you know someone is out for themselves it when you can't tell what drives someone they become a threat."
"Probably but since they have not caught me yet no one is going to say anything." He grinned as they reached the landing."Third door on the left," he muttered, walking and counting doors before opening it. "Just plop on the chair by the end table."

"Ah..that I can understand. That's how I get on the other merc's nerves, I do things they don't expect that I'm capable of doing. Unpredictability does tend to frighten people a lot, especially if they can't see a pattern of any sort." Xar said in between munching on a piece of fruit.
The fruit was rather juicy and strange tasting but it was pleasantly tasty to Xar's palate. The dark juices ran down his face and nearly dropped on his clothing. He however managed to catch it in the palm of his hand and lick it off of his hand before it marred his armor's shiny appearance.
Xar laughed at Jyses words, and shook his head in disbelief. "You'd think they'd be a bit more intuitive to your schemes by now. However..good for you."
He followed Jyses closely, kind of like a little puppy would it's master and followed his directions walking across the room to the end table and plopped down in the chair and looked up at Jyses.
"You do still want that massage right? Finishing the food off won't take me very long."

"I think my sisters run interfernce since I change their chores around to." He sat on his bed, streching out before nodding. "mmm, sure...what do you need?" He muttered slighlty ill at ease. Between the stress and the tightness...blah. "Do I need to get naked or something?"

"Ah..that would explain a lot."Xar replied with a chuckle and quickly finished off his food.
"Oh not much, if you have oil or lotion you want me to use that's pretty much all I need. No no..nothing of the sort," Xar replied with a laugh. "If you pull your shirt down to your waist I can get your back well enough with you pretty much fully dressed. If that is fine with you. If you want i could even just work through your clothing." Xar replied with a small smile, and cleaned his hands as best as he could and pulled his armor off so he could move around without making any noise when he worked on Jyses' back.
"If you want to forgo a massage that's fine as well, though I do feel as if I owe you for all you've done for me today. You're the first fellow drow I've ever been able to call a friend."

"Mm, in teh dresser, on the bottom." He muttered quitely, letting the robe puddle to his waist and laid down, eyes half closed. "Just a little mmmmm nervouse. Never had anything like this done before." He dug his feet into the soft covers.
