OOC: I have no idea who won the last hand. I guess we should ask Sou?
When everyone had either bet or folded and it was time to show, Firyal turned her cards over, fanning them on the table, revealing a four, three queens, and a king. It had turned out to be a good hand, but another's might be better.

When the next hand was dealt she studied hers and decided with a minute shrug that she would hope to be favored by luck. She slid a single card toward the dealer and her ante to the pile in the center. This could be interesting.

Ah well, not his lucky day. Conomor accepted his new hand and looked at it thoughtfully for a few moments before discarding two of them, and accepting replacements. This was the best hand he'd got so far; hardly the best ever but still the best he'd had. If somebody raised the ante and he went for it, he'd be out if he didn't win the hand... Still, there were plenty of people around the table without a flitt so he didn't really mind losing out on an egg if someone else had a better set of cards this round.

"The hand and pot goes to Firyal." Three Queens? That was ridiculous. He needed to shuffle better! Collecting up everyone's hands, the greenrider took extra care in shuffling his cards before dealing this time.
"Just two more hands, then," he declared, dealing out the next hand.

Vera scanned her hand thoughtfully, and pushed forward her ante and bet, two points in total, and quirked an eyebrow, waiting for the others to make their moves.

T'ka tapped her foot quietly, trying to manage her irritation. Not at the game. It was all well and good. But she was being harassed mentally by a very moody Haanyath, who didn't like being left out 'like a lowly herdbeast' as she put it. For the sake of her sanity, T'ka was eager to go soothe her dragon. "Fold," she stated, laying her hand down and looking up at the ceiling.

People were getting a little squirmy with so little points left. "Hand goes to Vera, on account of everyone else folding," F'sey announced. Not that it did her much, but at least she had more points than some others. Now, time to tally.
