Tick was badly shaken. Everything she knew to be true had been brought into question in a few short minutes. She moved to stand next to Raieth not sure what anything was anymore.
Raieth laughed upon hearing the caterpie's eager declaration. <You are very brave for one so small.> She made a sweeping bow to soot and bounced to her feet still pumped from the fight.
She turned to Poke, "Thank you for bringing me to this town." She paused suddenly remembering why they came to the town in the first place. "Oh, we came here for coverings didn't we?" She looked down at herself, "But I have nothing for trade. Unless I could make something..." She looked at the others, uncertain.

"Stop!!"
"Where did he go?"
A few other similar shouts were heard in the distance from where the group stood. And before much more time had gone by, someone came bolting out from around the corner and towards the small gathering of trainers and pokemon. The young man didn't quite seem like he was going to meet with them however.
"Hey, that's Poke!" chirped the small fire monkey that was running a few steps ahead of his trainer.
"Yeah.. but we don't really have time to stop and talk right now," replied the man inbetween breaths. He didn't seem to be too troubled by his situation, and neither did the chimchar for that matter.
Further behind, another guy seemed to be running after him, but he had a good amount of ground to catch up on. Knowing this, he shouted out at the group up ahead.
"HEY! STOP HIM!"

Because Raieth was closest she stuck her long leg out to trip the running stranger. "Why you run?"
Tick was instantly there hackles up, hissing.

Just as he started to go past the small gathering, he felt his right foot snag on something, causing him to come crashing down onto the pavement. Well he didn't see that coming. With a groan, he pushed himself up a bit, finding a Vulpix hissing at him. But as his dark red eyes looked up more to see who had tripped and spoke to him, he was a little more shocked to see a blue... being standing there.
He was definitely a little confused with what he saw, and at first he thought he might have been seeing things.
"Just trying to get away," he said before looking up ahead to see the chimchar still running off. The fire type must not have noticed that he fell yet.
"And now I need to catch up, so if you'll excuse me..." he uttered as he crouched before starting to run again.

Both poke and aya jumped around to see what was going on, and poke wa ssuprized to soo none other then blade, bolting down the street away from somebody else. She blanched when raeith had stuck her leg out in order to trip him. She had a good inkling as to why he was running in the first place....
"err...well...I think he's...ahh..." she grasped at what to say and what to do. He was a nice guy, and she could call him a friend, but he was doing something wrong.
Aya seemed complety confused. At first she had prepared to fire a icy wind, but raeith had stopped him before she could. And now instead of activly doing something, poke wa sstanding there trying to stay something. Aya looked at the fallen man, frowning.
"Poke, what did he do?" she asked her.
"Heh....heh...ummm" she looked the other way.

Raieth noticed Pokes response and hesitated in grabbing him. In that short time, the strange man and gotten up again. She gestured to the running figure. "We catch him?" She felt her long legs coil like springs ready to jump forward at their word.

Andrew began pumping his arms at the thought of taking on Aya again, but just as this all was getting him worked up, he caught sight of a man running down the street and another chasing him. "Hey, he looks feisty." Watching, he was mildly amused as Raieth tripped him.
"Erm." Neko was totally lost by now, as the situation had changed so much. It seemed though that her friend knew exactly who he was, and as he jumped back onto his feet, she turned to a mumbling Poke. "Well? If you know this guy should we be helping him or not?" She wasn't sure why Poke was being so evasive at all.
It didn't take much however for Andrew to spring into action regardless of information of any kind. And he jumped up and on top of the man's head. "I got 'im!" He looked mighty pleased with himself, but Neko was now back in panic mode. Because, well, even if he now had his little paws over the runners eyes, Andrew was not big enough or heavy enough to keep the guy there. "GET OFF!!" She shouted, seeing disaster in the making.

Blade barely had gotten moving before the Riolu had sprung up onto his head, covering his eyes in the process.
"H-hey! Get off!" he shouted while reaching up to try and pry the pokemon off of him. He didn't want to hurt it, but he did need to get it off of him. The guy behind him probably was starting to get close, but he couldn't check right now since he was being blinded by a pokemon.
And while he knew Poke was nearby, he didn't really expect her to help him. She was a gym leader after all.
Though, he had to wonder if the chimchar had noticed that his trainer wasn't right behind him any more. Sometimes it was a bit hard to tell with Gouku..

you bet I am =soot said at raieth's complaiment, though he didn't know if he'd be fighting her or her vulpix=
*with a blank stare at soot, giga wondered what the two were talking about* ok, seriously, what-? *he didn't get far in his question before he heard someone yell and another person pop out of nowhere.*
* soon the man was doing a face plant thanks to raieth's leg work and being 'attacked' by the seemingly crazy riolu, causing soot to stifle a laugh and gigaus to just stare in his 'wth' manner* ok, this is odd....
*he picked up that one of the trainers knew this man and figured 'wth, why not'* sorry soot *was all he said as he faced the oncoming man, standing between him and downed one*
uh? what do yo- =he wasn't pyschic, but soot knew something bad was about to happen=
*holding up his cell phone, giga turned on the alarm full blast, right next to the unprepaired bug*
=with a loud screech and bug-eyes, soot let loose a torent of string shot towords the oncoming man=

For crying out loud, how the hell was she supposed to take care of this situation?!?!
She had heard rumours before of blades "theiving ways" But had never really believed them to be true. Why would a guy like him want to steal something anyway? But she remembered that she was a gym leader, and as a gym leader she was supposed to uphold the law....even though she wasn't sure if she should
"well..he proably took something...so we should...stop him...." poke said, sounding very half hearted and also very quitely, but then paused as Andrew had decided to take matters into his own hands.
"Ahh! Andrew!" Aya saw the rioulu try and stop Blade from running away. "Be carefull!" so, being the helpful pokemon that she was...she jumped up and grabbed onto blades back.
"What the-" poke also saw that soot and giagus were trying to help out to...but not in the best sense. "c-careful gigaus or we might be seen as acomplises!"

The man chasing Blade let out a shout as his legs got caught up in the string shot. With a thud, he came to the ground before turning over to try and pull the gooey substance off of himself.
"I SAID STOP HIM, NOT ME!" he yelled at the one with the Caterpie.
The guy wasn't the only one to go down, as Blade felt something heavy jump onto his back. Being already off balance from the Riolu blinding him, he fell over with little issues. Groaning from the impact of the fall, he tried to think quick on what he needed to do to get away at this point.
"Please get off of me..." he muttered to the two pokemon that had pounced onto him.

Raieth deciding that things had gotten too far, reached out and picked Blade up by the shoulders pokemon and all. Pinning his arms to his sides and lifting. "What is going on?"
{{Raieth would be able to lift him aprox 5'5" off the ground at the shoulder. Not sure how tall Blade is. Up to you if she is successful.^.=.- }}

*with the man chasing blade tied up, giga thought it might be a good time to try and collect his bearings* OK! ENOUGH! EVERYONE ONE JUST STOP FOR A MINUTE! *he put his mask back on as he did this. not to hide his face from the man chasing blade, just 'cuz it didn't feel right yelling without it*
-digit had woken up from all the yelling and now was trying to crawl out of his pocket-
da-da-don't do that a-again! I could have had a heartattack! =soot sat there panting from the fear that just ripped through him. looking down, trying to calm down, he noticed a egg trying to flee the pocket it resided in= gigaus, digit...
*giving a heavy sigh, the trainer reaches down, grabs the togepi, and holds him in his folded arms*
digit: weee~
*walking over to blade and raieth* that's what I'd like to know. why is he chasing you? *he motioned to the man trying to get unstickyed*

((He's 5'10", but seeing how he was on the ground, I'd imagine it'd be pretty hard to pick someone up like that.))
It was just one thing right after another it seemed as he felt something grab onto his shoulders. The one that had grabbed onto him started to lift him. But about halfway up, he kinda managed to struggle away, turning towards the group. The guy chasing him was currently downed, and he supposed if he was to get away from this he was going to need to speak up. Not much sense in lying right now either.
"I j--"
"HE TOOK MY BIDOOF! HE STOLE HER!"
Blade barely began to speak when the other guy had cut him off, and when it happened, he was a bit dumbstruck. But he supposed it explained why the guy was so adamant about taking him down. Even so, what the man claimed wasn't the case. Pokemon were never on his list of what to take.
"What? No I didn't.." he said with a frown.
By now, Gouku was at the edge of town, and finally he looked behind. When he saw that Blade was nowhere in sight, he blinked some and glanced around.
"Huh... is he still back there?" he asked himself. After a few moments of thinking, he decided to head on back to make sure everything was alright.

Seeing that he wasn't running Raieth didn't try to grab him again. "Bi-doof?" She looked down to Tick for an explanation.
"It's a pokemon." She flicked her tails. If he did steal the pokemon he could expect to get to know fire a lot better in his future.
