well most of the peaople i know are azn and play flute : D in my band class all the flute players are azn girl -1 boy- with black hair lul =D=+D=D+=D+=D

Here's what people in my band are like.



Trumpets- egotistical, love blasting their instruments in peoples ears. Skinny guys who wear lots of skinny jeans or girls who love being artistic and nerdy but who everyone loves. Play kinda quiet but talk really loud.

Clarinets- quiet, shy, kinda emo, easily angered. Dark hair, wearing a LOT of eye make-up. Never really talk or play much during class, but outside of class DO NOT SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!

Trombones- really tall, dorky, dont talk during class but still annoying on the trips. They dont know what they are doing and ask a billion questions about nothing.

Flutes- loudest most annoying people in band, talk way to much, rush all the time, complain, usually skinny with long hair. Really random dorks who argue with the BD and make no sense. Usually have really bad attitude problems. Are divising an evil plan to rule the world by being so weird that everyone listens because they are afraid that the flutes will go pshyco on them. (I play flute)

Alto Saxophones- Dorky guys who are freakin awesome, either really tall or kinda short, really sweet, never stop playing, play like they are trying to over take the world. Freakin loud at talking and playing, do not understand the concept of BALANCE.

Tenor Saxophones- Guys who have attitude and anger problems, can look like anything, usually bad reputations.

Bari Saxophones- Guys who play bari sax usually look to small to play it but are able to pull it of. Most of them have long hair and like to show off how easy they think their parst are.

Baritones- People who dont fit into any of these catagories and just wanted to be in band and figure out that there are other dorks just like them.

Percussionists- Guys who think they are better at playing than they really are and try way to hard to be great, obsess over little things but dont pay attention to the music or the BD. usually pretty short and funny, and perverted.

Tubas- (sorry to say this because one of the tuba players is my best friends) usually kinda chubby but who are comfortable with is and are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Mallet Players- *see Flutes*

This is just how my band is:

Flute: Perfectionist, Never take a compliment without saying how much they suck, Either preppy or mean and listen to screamo (yes iv seen some flutes like that)
Clarintet: Loud, Kind of obnoxious, and talk talk talk
Oboe: Quiet but really nice
Bassoon: Wierd, Kind of out there, (Me mrgreen ) keep to themselves and usually the coolesttt.
Alto Sax: Cocky, Talk and Laugh nonstop, Thinks the band would be nothing without them. Extremley competitive with eachother.
French Horn: Usually the cool people and get away with EVERYTHING
Tuba: Tall, Guys, Dont pay attention
Baritone: Also wierd and just theyre own catigory
Trombone: Loud and Funny. Always have something to say about somthing. Some are extremley annoying. always up to something.
Trumpet: Veeeery loud always making a joke or making fun of something and cant keep quiet,
Percussion: Never pay attention, BD always gets mad at them, cocky.

Flutes: Vultures, always battling for the next chair; obnoxious, but usually good players.

Clarinets: Most are brimming with potential, but always too quiet for the band.

Saxophones: THIS YEAR: Couldn't play on beat; YEARS BEFORE: OMG.

Trumpets: The worst of the band; inaudible if played-well, out of tune if you could hear them.

Trombones: The lower-third of the section was as bad as the Trumpets, the middle two were good, and the first chair was the most-well-educated-in-terms-of-music (if not the most silent-to-speak-and-somewhat-cocky) and potential loudest player in the band/leader of the marching band. I think.

Tubas: Tubaman ruled in Symphony band. The others sucked.

Percussionists: Talented, but talkative and inattentive.

Horn: Amazing section, the best in the band.

Baritones: WHY?!

Oboe: Cool, an Oboe!

K. Here's what goes on in mah school >_>

Starting from the front of the bandroom!

Flutes: The superficial girls. They only really care about what they look like and what the people around them look like. The one male in the group is actually pretty kewl, but everybody else hates him for something completely stupid.

Clarinets/Bass Clarinets: Mainly girls. The strange people of the band. Some will later break from the pack and become double reeds. Male players... Well... They're not gay, but people still question that. (In my band, one of them's autistic and the other one is metrosexual.)

Double Reeds: The cool people. Mainly girls. The oboe section leader is loved by everybody. I'm the bassoon section leader~ (And as far as I know, the ONLY bassoon this coming school year) =_=

Saxophones: They just don't give a damn. If they make a mistake, they fix it once, but the next time they play that part, they make the same mistake. The only saxophones that really care at all are the Tenors. Altos make up the majority.

Horns: The snobs. They're usually the people with the money, and their attitudes are almost intolerable.

Trumpets: They're some of the nicest people ever, but... They're almost always out of tune. The section leader is an amazing person, but most people don't realize it.

Baritones/Euphoniums: These people are usually the more laid-back type. When people try to start trouble, they do their best to calm people down. I was proud to be a part of this section. ^_^

Trombones: @_@ I don't even wanna start on them... They are the TRUE troublemakers of the band if something goes wrong, its usually a trombone making it worse. The section leader does his best to keep them under control. He's a lot more like one of the Baritones than a trombone player.

Tubas: There's not much to say, really... They're just there... Sometimes they can be mean, but they usually just leave people alone.

And finally...
The Percussionists: It's a recurring stereotype that the percussionists are cocky, arrogant, and lazy. It still holds true here. One time when we were about to get some food and water, 4 or 5 of them decided that they deserved to get it before everybody else and cut from all the way in the back of the line to the front. That's the only time I've ever wanted to fight somebody in my life. D=<

But I know that without the variety displayed here, band would be boring to me. So I've come to love them all as a part of mah family~

and sax players always like to be loud and prank people (true for my band xD)
