Sapphire glanced back at the other man a moment, then followed after Robin. Well, that was her answer then. Wasn't sure what they were doing, but they knew what they were doing so best to follow their lead.

Spider-man stirred, he was currently engaged in a feverish nightmare where Osborn's bat-razors were turning into real, vampire bats that all had morbius's face, and were trying to eat him, but little did he know, his super-powered metabolism was already beginning to purge the fear toxin from his body...

Sapphire glanced back as she followed Robin when she heard a new voice. It looked like the girl she had seen earlier and...was that Spider-Man? She hesitated a moment, fighting the urge to rush over and see if there was anything she could do to help him. Wouldn't be smart to just bolt out of the shadows. Still, had to be something she could do.

Seeing what Batman was doing, Kara reluctantly shot back to stand directly in front of his enemy; if Batman got hurt saving someone that she'd brought in, Kal would never forgive her. Plus, much as she hated to admit it, she'd probably never be able to forgive herself. Batman was twice as bad as Kal was, constantly lecturing, glowering, and generally making her life ten times harder than it had to be. That said, he'd saved her a** on multiple occasions, was a good friend to Kal (even if the two of them refused to acknowledge that they were friends), and was an invaluable member of the league. Standing with her arms crossed sullenly over her chest, she glared at the enemy. "Hi," she said dully, "My name is Supergirl, and I'll be your superhero his evening." Of course, none of that changed the fact that she was going to be in for it when Kal got there, but whatever. She'd made her choice.

Batman turned and said, almost shouting, "Sapphire! Come back, I'm changing the plan. Batgirl, Robin, get Superman. Sapphire, come here, if you know Spider-Man at all as a friend, he'll do better waking up to someone he knows as a friend, it'll help him clear his mind a little faster. I'd do it, but my costume, due to the design, sometimes is more of a hindrance when dealing with Fear Gas victims." He turned to Supergirl and said, "Be on your guard, Supergirl. He fights physically, but his very essence is magic." He walked next to her, and took up a stance next to her.

"But he's already..." Robin trailed off, glowering, and stepped into the transporter. Batman obviously knew that Superman was already coming, and he still wanted them out of the way.

Kara flinched, her head automatically snapping back to look at the girl called 'Sapphire.' It was the blue spider girl, and just like that, the rage was back. She could feel a muscle in her jaw clench uncomfortably as she looked at that hated figure, and she wanted to rip, to tear-- She's hurt us; she's hurt our other love... Frightened by the inexplicable emergence of that alien thought, she swallowed and turned back to face the enemy. Normally, she would have responded to Batman's words of caution with an impish smile and/or irreverent comeback, but she was currently too shaken and preoccupied to manage anything but a curt nod.

Batman took advantage of Scorpion's distraction and pulled out something he thought he'd never need again from his utility belt. He leaped back, and threw it, making it cling to the spectre's back. It was the batarang-attatched-sonic emmiter. It activated as soon as it stuck to Scorpion, and immediately, hundreds of bats came down and started attacking the ninja. Before the ninja could try to remove it, the Dark Knight leaped forward again, throwing a flying kick, in order to throw Scorpion on the ground.
