Its gone. I took the chance to change your thread title to [Closed] which it should remain until your shop is fully set up and ready to open. I also archived the post so that once your shop *is* set up you can fill the order. heart

Hey all. Long time no see. Hopefully you remember trajik007. Well, that's me. For more info on that, go to the link in my siggy (Not asking for anything, just for your info).... Anyway, I wanted to let you all know that since a recent complete hard-drive wipe (not my fault), and a complete loss of everything, I'm not going to be able to start my edits and art again until I get the new CS4 package in the mail. Shouldn't take more than about a week. Anyway, just thought it would be nice to update some old friends on the status. Talk to you all later! (I'll be dropping by more often from now on, I just feel bad with no edits to speak of anymore)

does anyone else here have particular trouble with white clothing on edits? I tend to block in the pixels in white with an alternate color bg so I can discern it.. then shade some grey around the borders so it will stand out on a white bg and block out whatever patterns are on the cloth... even so it always seems so much more difficult than any other color :/

Why not just draw the outfit in another color (say blue or purple, since the lowlights look good for those with white anyways) and then recolor/brighten it to white afterwards?

I usually do the white background but then do the color editing on other peices if I'm doing a specific white outfit (character edit).
I just odded myself out by accidentally clicking on the AEG instead of this one: "Where did all these rules and regulations come from! I've missed too much!"

I then work with the white, layer some black over it using smudges/burning for creases and curves, then adjust the colors so that it looks more natural. But that is with photoshop. With MS-paint, I usually draw out a pallette of colors (5 or 6 of a shade of white from light to dark) then block it out as needed.
