Flamgra closed his eyes, this peace treaty would not go through so well if the matron had watched him roll his eyes. She couldn't bring herself to fight a measly human? Drow women are twice as powerful as Drow men, in every aspect. Perhaps a papered life on the surface dulled her skills or killer instinct. Flamgra thought to himself, hanging his head slightly and taking a deep breath in through his nose. The food smelled tempting, but he didn't want to risk it.
He did not look down on the matron or her weapons master, but he did think she was not quite used to the Drow way of life, yet. The promise of surface delights,as well as slaves, was enough incentive for him to over look these much needed adjustments. For now Flamgra would be quiet and still, opening his eyes to survey the surroundings, but he would not say a word. His mission was to protect Matron Lariexith, not deal with treaties.

Lari raised her brow at the sudden change of pace in the conversation. She wondered if her disappointment was clearly visible giving the Matron unease in her promise. Or perhaps she just didn't want to talk about the other Houses rejecting her. Giving a faint smile, she pressed on the conversation, "I'm not really looking for anything in particular. That just seems to be the most common offer I get. I like lots of variety. Is there anything up there that you might also have? Besides.. weapons, supplies, food, and slaves? You know, when I was younger my mother took over a whole elven civilization. And it was a pretty decent sized city. Kennyr'valsa, it was called. They believed in the Silken Weaver. Apparently a form of our religion. They called us blasphemy. They believed Lolth was corrupted by us. And they believed that they would awaken her with their little gospels and praise. Completely ignorant creatures!" Lari couldn't help but laugh at this statement before continuing, "But uh, my mother... she became the puppet master of that city. They were still living their lives and fulfilling their daily tasks but they had a secret. They were enslaved. People outside of the city didn't know that. So trading was done throughout the Realm. We had access to good, good shipment. To anything we wanted actually. We even went to the extent by reaching out to other civilizations. Making peace treaties. Building our city even bigger. We acted like Gods. They were our eyes, ears, and soldiers of the surface. We knew a lot of things going on in that area. Things that could probably throw down a couple more cities. That's what I want. I want a city dedicated as my own. And if I should ever run into any problems, then that is the city I can go to."

"to get a city that you control you would have to tkae it over your self, i could help with providing the some of my warriors to help take it over. but i can not give you a city of your own." she thought about this matrons idea and knew it could work but she did not see it in her advantage to take over a city that she would dedicate to her self.

Lariexith smiled at the Matron's response. Vasune'avin was willing to work with her on any situation so it appeared. Obviously she really wanted this alliance.
Lari then dug in her change purse at her waist and pulled out a scroll. She then unraveled it and placed it in front of the Matron, "So its settled... on this day, Alaenduis and Tor'afin are allies."

He knocked on the walls... They made an odd sound, they must be made of some sort of special stone...
He paced about, he wasn't very good went it came to waiting...

At first the Matron's response caught Lariexith off guard. But once the meaning behind her words settled in, Lari smiled even more, "Of course, my dear. Its very important when it comes to keeping documents and records in my opinion. Please hand it off and I will sign willingly."

Smiling still after reading the paper and seeing that was an exact replica of her own, Lariexith got out a quill shaped like a spider, its fangs molded into a point where the ink came out, and its legs engraved and forming the body of the pen in an artistic sort of way.
She then pressed the quill to the paper as blood red, script-like letters formed her name on the appropriate places of the contract.

Flamgra slowly got up from the table and lightly pulled out Matron Lariexiths chair,as a courtesy. Not too hard to pull her off the chair, but enough she could easily get out from the table. Flamgra turned his attention to Matron Aleanduis, placing his right arm across his chest, his knuckles lightly touching his shoulder. He took a slow bow before her, keeping his eyes on her and the weapons master, but a respectful bow none the less.
"It was a pleasure being in your house and meeting you, fare well." Flamgra made his way to the door, Keeshe sat happily on his shoulder. In all the commotion she managed to snag a few insects, which now sat bloodless and still on his shoulder. Flamgra just smiled and reached up,stroking Keeshe gently as he stood by the door and waited for Lari to join him. As well they needed to wait for their lizard mounts.
