Dierdre shook her head, but was still a moment, she had never thought of how the clans got their eggs. "I got mine from one of the clans" She said. "I assume they get theirs from breeding, but don't quote me on it."
Irusan turned his sandy eyes back to Isabeau. He stared for a long time then looked up at his owner, who tickled his chin with a smile. It was hard to be upset for too long, holding this little thing, even when considering where he had come from. She kissed his nose and then held him out a bit for Isabeau. "Did you want to hold him?" She asked.

"Oh wow really?!" Isabeau practically dropped the book bag off her shoulder when Diedre asked her the question. "You really mean it?" The thoughts of the clans maybe taking eggs from nests became a blur in her mind and she looked at the little dragon with excitement. Just being able to pat it would have been enough to keep her happy for life but being able to hold it instead. She reached her arms out to collect the dragon, fully expecting him to be heavier then he looked, she was trying her hardest no to make it look like she was making grabby hands at the dragon.

For a moment Irusan wrapped his tail around his guardians arm but then Dierdre murmered "Play nice, dearling" And he resigned himself to being passed amungst the humans.
He wasn't too heavy, but he had weight to him just hte same. He was warm and his scales were small enough to feel soft. He pressed close to the girls chest, that was safer than hanging in the air.
Dierdre did watch like a protective mother but didn't try to take him away, letting her hold him. She understood how much someone could want one, she had never really expected a guild to give her one, given her less than graceful nature.

Isabeau held onto the clinging baby as it wrapped it's tail and limbs around her for support and comfort, it felt just like a snake right now. Although the scale will get much larger it was impressive that they would feel so soft right now. "It's okay little one, I'm a friend." She patted the top of it's head. "What is it's name?" Isa looked back up at Dierdre with curiosity as she stroked the silky soft scales of the little one.

"Irusan" Dierdre said with a smile. The tiny dragon gave a a little cheep noise at hearing his name, content to look over Isa's shoulder and get a new perspective on things.

Trying to hold the now curious and squirmy dragon without dropping him she smiled at Dierdre when she told her his name. "That's a cute one, I don't think I can come up with anything good for a name if I got one." Affraid of dropping the little dragon Isabeau decided to give it back to it's guardian, reluctantly but out of consideration that she would be eyeing it like a mother if it were hers as well. "Thank you for letting me hold him, you just made all of my dreams come true, as sappy as that sounds." Most of the time she sounded like she was living in one of her story books as opposed to real life.

(I don't know that difference of midnight blue and black xd ) "Only teenage and adult dragons talk you know."Sophia said calmly.Nova was shocked when he read the book.He sneaked it back in Isabeau's bag.Then,ran back to Sophia.

Dierdre took the little one back and snuggled him against her chest. "Some really smart babies have started talking before" SHe said. She turned her attention back to Isa "You'll think of one, trust me you'll know. You're going to try to get a dragon, too, right?"

"Oh Wow." Kitanis' eyes widen from seeing the new beautifully colored dragon hatch. She could feel both her dragons lean in closer to see the baby dragon as well, placing her hands on each of their snouts to make sure they didn't get too close.
"Relax boys, don't want to scare newborn, congratulations he looks like he'll grow into a wonderful dragon." Katanis spoke, she just realized she didn't even know who she was talking to.
"I'm really sorry about earlier, I hope my dragons didn't scary you. I'm Kitanis, the brighter colored dragon is Lapis and the darker one is Sappheiros."

Isabeau smiled at Dierdre and chuckled a little. "Oh I would love to get one someday! But I'm not sure how that works." She eyed the dragon who was reading her book as he walked away, amused at how human-like the dragons can be. "I just might have to take a trip to this city more often, hopefully on purpose as opposed to getting lost." She often poked fun at herself for stuff like that, even though it could happen to anyone.
As Kitanis came over to them Isabeau watched her dragons with envious eyes, she was the first one Isa saw with more than one dragon. "Oh wow, you have two dragons?" She wasn't afraid of just speaking out for some reason, it contradicted her normally shy and excluded personality.

Dierdre smiled warmly at Isa "You'll get one, I think a new batch of eggs are coming out soon, or they should be, at least." She said. She flipped Irusan onto his stomach and tickled him gently, kissing his little nose. She let the little dragon wriggle so he was righted in her arms again and make a little huff noise.

(( Oh I figured she was since she didn't stop to reply to any of us x3 Just kept going on =3 ))
"Oh that would be so awesome!" She began to drift into her day dreamland again, imagining herself with a dragon was easier to do once she knew it was completely possible. After a while she started to feel like she was becoming a fan girl and thought maybe she was being a little immature with her reactions towards them. After all, everyone here probably grew up around dragons and the knowledge of getting one someday. "Well I'm glad you got one." She said with a warm smile as she watched the little dragon get comfortable in his guardian's arms. "Maybe if I get one then they can be playmates or something." Wouldn't that just be fun, spending the day at the park while their dragons romped around playing.

Dierdre grinned "I'd love to!" She said happily. "Of course he'll be a teen by that time, but still a good play mate!" She finally let the squirming dragon onto his feet in the grass. He stayed right near her legs and she kept a close eye on him as she spoke. "I'm sure you'd be a good guardian, you certainly have the interest!" She laughed a little, remembering the first time she had actually seen a dragon, it had been during the races. She had worn the same awed expression.

"Well thank you, I hope I will be a good guardian eventually." Isabeau sat in down on the grass, taking her messanger bag off her shoulder and placeing it on the ground. "I'm sure he would be nice to my little hatching anway, he's such a cutie." She reached her hand towards the shy dragon, offering it a welcome to be scratched on the head.
