She laughed. "I love her not having one. I think it is absoloutly adoreable - If she could stay that way forever I'd have it that way. But for her sake, and my sanity .." She trailed off, falling into a fit of laughter.

Overhearing the conversation, she grinned slightly. "Right, I'll just adjust this to my liking. Alright .. Once upon a time, there was an egg and a spoon. Now, the eggs and spoons were against each other, and lived on opposite sides of the town. This fight had been going on for years until one little spoon decided to try and make peace. Slowly, he stood at the border of egg and spoon town, and conversed with the egg. The egg was in hysterics at the spoons pathetic attempt at peace, and shunned him aside. The little spoon was not very happy, so he went into the egg territory. The eggs were outraged, this had never happened before. They all charged for the spoon, but the spoon had the advantage. As they ran into him, they smashed into tiny pieces, and made a rather big mess on the ground. The spoon triumphed and all the spoons came into the egg land, and the eggs made peace with the spoons, and they all lived happily ever after and endured many egg and spoon races." She grinned slightly, pulling a tiny spoon from behind her back. "See, here he is." She handed it to him, smiling.

Remy stood, shocking Lenta. He stretched, then jumped to the floor, trotting over to sit by Odd. "Eggs and spoons... Hmm. Would you two like to hear a story I wrote?" He asked softly, blinking behind the mask.
Lenta's eyes were wide, her jaw hanging loosely a few inches below her neck. Remy hadn't warmed up to anyone but herself, and there he was, trailing behind the infants like a mother hen! It was almost laughable. Maybe Odd had captured his attention...

She looked up at him, tilting her head slightly. She was slightly taken aback, and slowly backed away, looking to the ground. She turned away, slowly pawing away into the opposite corner, sitting and engulfing herself in her book once more, attempting not to cry.

Remy immediatly regretted his words. "It was a good story..." He murmured, staring down at the ground. "I just thought... maybe we could..............." Then, trailing off, his shoulders slumped in defeat. "I didn't mean it like that."

She looked up at him, shaking her head. "No, no. It wasn't that, you wanted to tell a story to the other infant, so I didn't want to interfier. I didn't put any, feeling into the story, I just knew he liked spoons, so I made one off the top of my head. It's fine, really." She looked to her feet, shuffling uncomfortably.

"I would have liked to tell it to both of you. I suppose he would have liked yours better, anyways... He seems to prefer spoons over medieval politics or romance stories." He smiled weakly, standing and padding to her side. "What was the book you were reading before?"

She blinked, smiling slightly. "A medieval romance novel. It's Romeo and Juliet, to be precise." She pushed moved over to it, pushing it foward to him with he nose.

"Wonderful story..." Remy murmured, placing a paw reverently on the cover. "Sad, with a twist of love... Have you ever read The Cure?" He asked suddenly, looking up from the book to Essence.

She nodded. She indeed loved to read, and was sure she had read every book in the world atleast twice, well. Maybe not that much. "Three times."

"What about Artemis Fowl?" He asked again, tilting his head. This little infant girl sure knew how to read... Remy felt himself drawn to her instantly. Then, almost feverishly, Remy spoke again, staring at the ground. "Mother says she's going to buy me the second Artemis Fowl book... I've only read the first."

She gasped. "There is a second? And nobody informed me? What cruel fait has brought this to me?" She sighed, shaking her head. "I must ask mine to buy it aswell.. The first I have read, yes. I had no idea there was a second .. Does that mean there is a third, too? I must get out more." He definatly had caught her interest, so much so, she had forgotten totally about her self-conscious head prodding.

"I believe there will be a third, yes." Remy nodded, beaming. "If you would like, you could have my copy when I am finished... Mother's picking it up later this evening, and I should be done tomorrow afternoon. Unless, of course, you'd like a new one..." He waited, breath held, for her reaction.
