"Oh, you don't have too. I was just curious." Noel had only had Cinna in her life. She just wasn't used to all the male company. "I think I should hang around guys more often." Noel smiled at all the paes in the room.

Aysu let out a sigh of relief. While her older sister had gotten much nicer since her entanglement with Bneut, Aysu still didn't like tearing her away from her studies. That was usually when her older sister was most likely to become annoyed. Or, perhaps, Aysu was only worrying too much. "Oh good." She sounded more relieved than she should.
"These guys? Don't worry about them. I'm the oldest in the room, and they'll all treat me as such." She said this louder, grinning widely at all of them. "I changed most of their diapers at some point. Except for Texas."
"You know," remarked Magnus, in an attempt to lighten the mood, "that's a little terrifying. You are old."

Noel giggled at the diaper remark. Then shook her head, "You aren't old. No way." She reached over and took the naiad's hand into her own. She smiled and then looked around the room.

Now that all worries were dispelled, Aysu was perfectly happy. She squeezed Noel's hand tightly, relieved that her ice ring wasn't melting yet. Noel was cool enough to keep it from becoming water. She tugged on Noel's hand slightly before leading her over to an empty couch on the side of the room away from the fireplace, sitting down.
This was pleasant. She could spend all evening talking to her siblings and Noel while leaning against Noel... and as long as Noel agreed, Aysu would do just that.
