I have to share! Jade saw me playing in towns, and she wanted to play it too, so I logged her in on her computer and started it for her and showed her how to catch bugs, pick flowers, and pick up trash (which she's not really interested in doing.. she likes visiting houses more!) and then I remembered since we're both logged in and in towns, I can visit her and she can see me on her screen, and her on mine!

So she spent a long while clicking around and telling me to follow her (into all the empty houses) but we did sit in butterfly's house a while and 'typed' to each other. Her typing was mostly jibberish, but she would sometimes throw her name or ella's name in there, which she knows how to type. rofl

Anyway, maybe when some of you are on and in towns, we can all hang out. For some reason it doesn't show either of us logged into the friends status though, so we can't find each other that way! Maybe if we meet up in one of the purkle neighborhoods sometime or something.

Eeek! I think I just now glimpsed nibbles on Jade's screen, but by the time I got Jade to walk down to see, she'd disappeared. I'm sorry!

Yeah, by the time I saw you on her screen, I'd already quit out of towns to catch up on other stuff, namely adding some decorations to Jade's house at her request, only her new wall and floor (she likes purkle now more thank pink!) wasn't showing up in towns after I changed it.

But Jade was having fun running around and going into houses!

i had a look yesterday, i couldn't view many areas, but the ones i did see were all full neutral

For Gaia Towns (a train station link from Barton Town on the maps) you can reserve a whole neighborhood and get 5 of your friends to join you in the same neighborhood within 24 hours of reserving it. Right now there are two purkle neighborhoods (see the first or second? post in the thread) and we have lists set up for more. Town permits will be bought in Aekea for those who wish to place their house. Oh, and creating a house is free, so if you haven't done it, go do it! Go to Aekea and housing commission and choose your style.

All styles are good. And they make for the exact same size inside the house, but they have slightly different looks for the outside of the house (both in town, and for outside the room edges when you're looking inside the house.) You can browse the housing arena or inside towns to see if you have a preference. There are little variations like the slope of the roof or where the flowerbox is placed..

The costs will only come in when you start buying furniture and wallpaper and flooring to furnish your house. Having an empty house and placing it in towns are both free, I think. And it costs 1000g if you're the one to reserve a neighborhood for friends, I think. And once a neighborhood has been reserved, if all 6 spots in the neighborhood aren't filled by you and friends within 24 hours, the spots become open to anybody. Oh, and it's 20k to double the floor-size inside your house.

Hmm that's a good idea if they would make our gold go up as we wander around! It doesn't though, that I've noticed, nor during the other pop-up things like slots, fishing..

I suppose you can still switch windows and vote in polls every now and then while running around towns. 4laugh

You're right, I'm sorry. I think when this was starting off, you had just come into the gaia couch scene, and I was trying to think who else might join another neighborhood, and at the time, all we had left were mules. Now that we have some more active members, I've made some quick adjustments before I rush off to the chiropractor. I know I've left out some other members, and will have to look through it more carefully and see who all hasn't placed a house yet and wnats to, etc.
