Alex's stomach took this moment to gurgle in agreement and he laughed. That's a good idea Calisto. You go ahead and get those fishes and I'll get the fire started." Alex said helpfully.
He quickly got up and gathered some small pieces of and put them together. He looked down into the pit of wood he created and looked liek he was almost in a trance before the wood began to smoke and catch fire. Fire was a tricky spirit to manifest but he had enough practice to manage it.

Calisto would stand up as she looked at the lake. She knew of only one way to get the necessary fish without too much trouble. She would have to dive into the lake itself and swim around. She would do just this as she vanished beneath the surface. Her body would glide through the water as she searched the water for any fish till she found some. She’d surface again with the fish in toe as she climbed out of the lake to dry off.

Ewan couldn't hide his admiration (not that he was trying) as he watched Alex start a fire. He had only seen this technique a few times prior. "Nicely done, Alex," he exclaimed, smiling brightly. "You are a true shaman, I have no doubt!"
As Calisto surfaced, the angel procured a towel, seemingly out of thin air. "Here you go, dear" he said, handing it over. "Use this to dry off." Ewan could have made a wonderful mother.

Akira watched in wonder. She listened to the conversation, trying to absorb all the information that she could. She watched the people, and thought it peculiar that the other woman always had her arms wrapped around the man. Timidly she stepped up behind Ewan, watching him for a moment, and taking her eyes off the fire that Alex was creating. This type of embrace in her home was reserved for lovers only. With a soft sigh Akira grabbed Ewan's arm gently in her hands and she lay against him. She looked up at him blushing. She acted as the other woman hand, not wanting to be rude and betray his customs.

Alex thanked Ewan as he looked up to see the shy female in strange garb get closer to him and grab his arm. They looked very close in that moment and Gouki though back to earlier making him blush slightly at being so close to Calisto.
"It's nothing to hard with practice. It's just a matter of seeing a fire elemental as it sleeps and asking it for help in the right way." Alex said slightly embarrassed.

Calisto would nod as she would dry off not just by towel, but by wind spirit as well. It was tickling her as she giggled. She started to hum a little being part musician in trade as she started to remember her transitional trade. “I remember now that I am a healer and a musician by trade.” Her words came with a gentle smile as she sat down next to Alex holding up the now dead fish they were to cook for a meal. “I hope you all enjoy fish. These were the biggest I could find.”

Alex nodded and thanked Calisto as he began to prepare the fish trying not to look at her to closely. The knife at Alex's side worked efficiently removing scales before puting it on a stick strong enough to hold such a thing to cook it over the fire.
"Why don't we all relax around the fire and chat. I do enjoy hearing stories from different people." Alex said smiling brightly as he held the fish over the fire.

Ewan chuckled quietly as Akira leaned against him. He found her innocence quite endearing. The angel turned his head to smile at his blushing companion. "While we're on the subject of occupations," he began, "what is yours? I think you're the only one who hasn't spoken of a job."

"Oh, me?" She asked bashfully looking down at the dancing fire. "Well I don't really have an occupation...my parents rule the land, so there really is no need for me to work, but I like to do many things." The moon princess giggled lightly. She still held his arm, thinking it was the right thing to do. She smiled at the others, and at Ewan.

"Well would you like to hold the fish over the fire your highness." Alex said amused by her story. "Its not really that hard to do since most of the weight is held by these rocks in the ground here."

Calisto gave a light giggle as she sat there dried off finally as her long emerald green hair seemed to flow slightly in the wind. She was enjoying the day so far. She had met interesting people since her awakening and one was increasingly interesting to her. Calisto leaned her head against her knees as she sat there waiting for a fish to be passed to her to hold over the fire.

"Do you believe me?" she asked softly while she kneeled beside the fire. She watched Alex nervously, afraid of him not believing her. What else could she tell him to help his see the truth of the fact. "How do you do it?" she asked shyly. "May I watch instead, just to see how it is done?"

"Hmm? Why shouldn't believe? After all those in the lake are still chattering about your mysterious arrival and how you could so easily walk across the water surface." Alex said warmly.
"Don't be bashful I'll show you as you do it" Alex said glad to be able to pass a little experience to another.

“May I help with the cooking of the fish?” Calisto smiled as she asked this. She hadn’t asked yet, but she wanted to help as she looked between Ewan, Alex, and Akira. Her silver eyes seemed to hold a sparkle in them that showed she meant it. She wanted to help out as much as possible as she helped keep the fire going by telling the fire spirit to keep the fire going, but not to burn the food. She did this silently knowing that the spirit would listen to her.

Akira blushed a deeper color. "All those in the lake?" She asked looking at Alex. She scooted away from Ewan and a little closer to Alex. She reached out to take the stick. "What is the first thing I do?" she asked watching the fish at the end of the stick.
