THeSLuSH CandyCaneRazorBlade Okay, well, I play Animal Crossing: Let's go to the City and I'm having trouble marking the acres in my town D; I've had a look at the AxA guide but it's given me 5x5 acres insted of 4x4 so I'm assuming it's for a different game gonk Can anyone help me? >.< That's what I did! xD But then I get five acres down and 5 acres across. Is that how it's supposed to be? I read it was meant to be 4 acres by 4 acres. o.o

okay so every 8X8 section is 1/4 of an acre
so four 8X8 sections = 1 acre
there should be 25 acres using this method
so 5 across, 5 down, yeah thats right xD
my 16X16 is actually 2 acres in one,
i just think its easier to map out then 8X8
math is confusing sometimes ><

Is there any idea how to differentiate a real painting to the forged ones?? Sometimes when I bought paintings from Redd, some of them were fake.
Btw I'm very sry for posting the topic "AC's museum collections" without reading the rules at "IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT" topic

And dun worry about your mis-post, it takes a minute to get used to this guild, since there is so much information in it whee
To find out if paintings are forged or not from Redd, you must first buy them, unfortunately. There is no way to differentiate between the real ones and the fake ones at his shop. There is a way to check and see if they are forged or not before getting them examined by Blathers though. Forged paintings will sell for only 10 bells to Tom Nook while authentic ones sell for 490 bells. So you can go to Nook and see what the price for your painting is before you go to the museum, but that just seems like an extra trip to me, you might as well try your luck with Blathers xP

1. Added more info on Special Characters in city. This list is not complete yet, but is my next task ^__^
2. Added a complete list of which patterns you can receive by giving Wendell certain fish.

I'm sure some hacker will show up someday with the 'key' to figuring it out, but until then we all just have to cross our fingers and pray we don't fall for another of Crazy Redd's scam's. smile Hope that helped.
