A NEW HOBBY

Evari stood outside the music store, her hands tucked into the pockets of her coat and her eyes focused intently on something in the window. There was a guitar, a very pretty guitar that was light blue in color; it was acoustic, but it was alright because it didn't look like one of those big bulky ones that would be a hassle to carry, and she should start on an acoustic anyway and not an electric if she really wants to learn guitar, right? It looked like fun, it sounded like fun, and it would keep her focused on something when she had nothing else to do that for her. This guitar had been here for a few days and she'd passed it every day that it'd been here, it screamed at her to buy it. It just did. And so now Evari was going to do just that. She'd gotten the money she needed from Xai and headed straight here, smiling down at the guitar in the window for a moment more before turning to head inside the store. A bell rang as the opened the door and walked in, getting the attention of a man who had been standing behind the counter reading something. He looked up, spotting the teenage girl with blue hair, brightly colored makeup, mix-matched clothes and...whoa...was she glowing? It was definitely impossible not to notice her right away, giving her a grin and a wave. "Yo, if you need anything let me know." Evari smiled and nodded.

"'Kay...ah...do you guys offer lessons?" Evari asked as she walked over to the guitar in the window she had been eying for just about the past week, running a finger along the side of the neck. It was so pretty and smooth! It was hard to tell it was just an acoustic, it was so nice. The man raised a brow and stepped out from behind the counter to see what the glowy girl was checking out, peering around and over her shoulder and making a noise of understanding when he spotted it. He was surprised he hadn't sold that one yet.

"That we do, doll." Evari made a slight face but did her best to hide it behind her hair. Eugh, She thought to herself. Don't call me doll and don't come up behind me like that...especially unannounced. Dumbass. It was making her skin crawl having the man so close behind her, slipping a shaking hand into her pocket and rubbing her lips together. She wanted to tell him to ******** off and get away from her, to stop looming like that, to stop talking to her...but he was the owner of this store, and she intended on buying this guitar from him. She could only hope he wasn't also the man who gave lessons or else she'd just have to go elsewhere for those. Though that seemed like something of a faux paus, buying a guitar at one place and then going somewhere else for the lessons. But being taught by a man...it just didn't sit well in Evari's stomach. It made her sick to think about. Or maybe that was the smell of his cologne...

...We'll go with both.

"Cool...um...can I get this? Or is it just for display?" That would be silly, why would they open a music store and then not sell the instruments they display? The man chuckled and nodded, stepping around the teenager to pick it up and loop the strap over Evari's shoulder, not realizing this was an action that made her incredibly uncomfortable and made alarms go off in Evari's head. Her heart pounded and her skin crawled, her hands shaking ever so slightly as she pulled them from her pockets to let the guitar strap sit more comfortable across her shoulder and so she could hold the guitar. Too close! Too close! A strange man with bad smelling cologne was too close and she didn't even say he could walk up to her! Her glow flared ever so slightly as she stepped back away from the man in an obvious hurry, doing her very best to hide it from him that she was...well...frankly, Evari was scared of him. She didn't know why but she was. Fortunately the man mistook it as excitement and her stepping back as just wanting more room to play with the guitar.

"Course it's for sale. Go on, give it a little strum. Just hold it like this." The man picked up a guitar to show her how to hold her own and Evari gave a tiny sigh of relief, watching and mimicking the man. A strum? So just...pluck all the strings? Evari dragged a hand across the strings, literally glowing with delight at the sound it made. Eeeeeee it sounded so nice! She wanted this one! The man laughed as the girl gave a squeal of happiness and began to curiously pluck at every string, getting ambitious and testing what each note sounded like with her fingers pressing various places along the fingerboard. She obviously didn't know what she was doing but she was having fun, and she herself had asked if they offered lessons! "Guessin' you're interested." He laughed as he put the guitar he'd been holding back on display. "Ever played before?"

Evari shook her head, keeping her gaze focused intently on the new toy she fully intended on buying and giving her love and attention.

"Uh uh, never. But I love singing...and I love music, so I want to give writing my own music a try. A friend of mine plays violin, but that's the closest I've been, really." She explained with a smile, looking up finally. The man hummed in understanding and looked around. If she was a brand new beginner without even a lick of experience she'd need the right books, he gestured for her to follow him and she did, holding the guitar upright so it wouldn't knock against anything as they walked down a couple aisles. Soon they stopped and he grabbed a couple books. One was on the basics of guitar handling, another was the basics of reading music at all, and another was a book with some easier to practice songs. He handed them to the teenager, letting Evari look through them. Oh! Wow, yeah. She wouldn't have had any idea which ones she'd need on her own, and there was no way she'd be able to get herself to just ask him to help her...so this worked out. He was volunteering, she'd take it. "Cool, thanks! I'll get these too then, they should really help." Because even Evari would admit she had no damn idea what she was doing. She wasn't stupid enough to pretend she had any clue how to play guitar. She only knew how to hold it because he had been the one to show her! Was there anything else she needed? A pick, but she could just get one of those on the way to the counter and it didn't matter what those looked like or anything. "Soooo is this all I need? And I can just schedule lessons whenever I need them?"

The man nodded, guiding Evari to the counter. The girl paused to look over the selection of guitar picks he had lined up, giving each one a good inspection. Naaah that one was too pink, she liked pink but not that much...black was boring and she'd probably lose it...blue? Nah, her favorite color but naaaah...oooh that rainbow one looked nice! Evari was about to pick it up when she spotted a green one in the corner of her eye, her gaze immediately turning and locking onto it. It was a really pretty green, not too dark but not too bright...it was a nice green. Evari's glow softened and she smiled, picking it up with a dreamily amused look on her face. This one. She wanted the green pick. Why? ...Dunno! It just caught her attention in a way that made it impossible for her to look away! She couldn't figure why just yet. Huh...oh well! She continued on her way, this time following behind instead of walking ahead of the man; this was a much better setup for her because having him so close behind her was making her uncomfortable, but he never noticed. Evari was...okay with that. She didn't need to have some stranger upset because she had a panic attack like with Mrrh. "Alrighty, soooo...that guitar, these books and that pick, right?" Evari nodded, putting everything on the counter for him. "I'll toss in a free guitar case for you too. Any one you want, go have your pick. The ones that will fit this one are at the bottom there." He pointed out to the girl as he went about ringing up her purchases. Oooh right! A case! She smiled and walked over to the line of cases, bending at the knees a bit for a closer look. She liked them! They were nice! She didn't want any of the plain black ones...they didn't have green, but they did have a red one and a blue one! She liked that blue one; it was the same color as her hair. Evari stood and picked it up with a little grunt. Damn was it heavy! Heavier than it looked, anyway! She got used to the weight quickly enough, carrying it to the counter as well. "Haha, I can see you like blue." Uhhhh..duh? Evari merely smiled.

"Mhm! And green." She humored him as she got out her wallet, handing over the amount that her really huge purchase would cost her. Wow, she was actually kind of surprised by how much it was. Only kind of. Wait...hadn't the guitar cost more? It'd said in the window...the receipt didn't add up! It was less than...did he...? Evari looked up from the receipt to the man before tucking it away in the bag for her books, putting the guitar and the pick away in new case. "Well thanks! I'm sure I'll be back for some lessons." But she really hoped they'd be from a woman, not a man. Nothing against him she was sure he was a perfectly respectable gentleman with a happy wife and children just...she couldn't...just being around him had made her sick, and it wasn't just his strong cologne.

"Come back anytime!" He told her genuinely, waving to the girl as she left the store with her new toy. She headed straight home, finding this stuff easier to carry than it looked. It wasn't so bad! The case was a bit heavy but it was her first time holding one. When she made it home it seemed Tyyne was out but Xai was home, she paused a moment when she saw her sitting on the couch. Was she alone...? She always seemed to be going out to see that Donovan guy these days. Xai was indeed alone, blinking and looking up from a device she was inspecting to see who had come in. Oh! Evari! It'd been awhile since she saw her...own daughter...that was strange. Why had it been so long since she last saw Evari? Aside from this morning when she asked for money, of course. She frowned a little at that thought, turning her eyes away for a moment until something caught her eye. Something blue and big and bulky. What was that?

Evari blinked, also feeling somewhat awkward all of a sudden. "Hey..."

"Hello...what's that?" Xai asked curiously, putting the device down on the couch and getting up for a closer look. Evari looked down at the guitar case and held it up a little higher. What? This? Oh, maybe Xai was used to more ordinary looking ones. "Oh! Is that...ooooh, right! That's the guitar you said you were going to get today, right? Very good!" She smiled, clapping her hands together. Admiring the case since that was all she could see, which made Evari smile and blush a little. "Will you play something for me?" Er...wait, what? Evari blinked. Play something for her? But...but she couldn't! Like, seriously couldn't!

"Hold on to that thought, I don't even know what string is what note yet. But when I get a bit better I'll play something for you, 'kay?" Oh, that made sense. Xai gave a nod, smiling.

"Alright, is that where you're headed off to now?" She asked, watching as Evari nodded and stepped around and past her.

"Mhm! Call me when dinner's ready're somethin'. I'll be in my room." She told her before opening the door enough for her to push it the rest of the way with her shoulder. Once she was inside she gently closed the door with her foot, putting the bag of books and her case on her bed. Whoo! Finally. Damn was her arm sore from carrying that thing for the first time, she'd have to figure out a better way to do it. Evari flopped down on her bed beside the case and opened it, for a moment just admiring her new guitar. But it wasn't enough to just look at it; she soon picked it up and held it properly, opening one of her new books. This didn't look so hard! She was determined to get this right.

NOT YOUR MOMMY

"Moooooommy!" Called a small child wandering the mall, looking around every which way. There were crowds of people wandering around already beginning to do their Christmas shopping, but none of them seemed to notice the lost little girl. Not even Evari who was sitting at the edge of a fountain putting in the number of a girl who had just given it to her, humming quietly to herself. She was doing this less and less, for some reason she just...didn't find as much interest and excitement in it anymore. The girls she did sleep with now she slept with because she was bored and felt obligated to keep going with her 'lifestyle' because it...was all she could do. She didn't like change. She hated it. And there were too many changes going on in her life right now; hardly any of them were for the better. It was so strange..why was this happening? She was losing friends left and right; Kay was missing, she was pretty sure she was on shaky ground with Tori; she had Roxy...kind of? She doubted she and Roxy could mend what happened between them anytime soon. That kind of thing took time. A lot of time. She had to go see Faris again soon, she just had to. Maybe Faris would call her? No, that was silly. She'd just go to her herself. Evari didn't like waiting and she hated making Faris wait herself, so she'd just go to her herself! Evari sighed and put her hoodie on, zipping it up and then pocketing her phone as she stood.

Evari was about to walk away when she heard a tiny cry of happiness, though she thought nothing of it until there was suddenly something small running up to and clinging to her legs. The glowing girl gasped and fell over from the impact, catching herself from falling completely by grabbing onto the edge of a heavy planter that thankfully didn't topple over from her falling weight. What the hell?! "MOMMY! Mommy I'm so glad I f-f-found you I was so sc-scaaaaaared!" Evari's eyes widened, slowly letting go of the planter to hold herself up with her weight against her hands on the floor behind her. Mommy? Wha...this...this girl thought she was her mommy? Oh s**t. ********! Um...uh...!

"Ah...nonono, I'm no--" Evari reached over to try and pry the girl off her as she began to correct the girl but the child merely shrieked and held her tighter, burying her face against Evari's thigh.

"MOMMYIWASOSSCAREDWHYDIDYOUWALKAWAYIDIDN'TKNOWWHEREYOUWENTANDIWASSOSCAAAAARED!" She sobbed. Evari's face paled and her glow dimmed, starting to realize maybe this girl wasn't going to just let her go. This was just...weird. Was Evari suddenly a kid magnet?! But wait, this girl was calling her Mommy? What the hell kind of mother did this girl have that she looked like her?! People were staring. People were staring. People were ******** staring. Evari blushed with embarrassment, because while she did love to be the center of attention and often demanded it she didn't want it when she was in a situation like this! s**t! The girl continued to cry and Evari groaned, dragging her hand down her face. Damnit, this was so not cool. She gently held the girl's shoulders and did her best to push her off enough so she could get a good look at this child. Siiiiigh. The girl hiccupped and rubbed at her eyes for a moment before trying desperately to hug 'Mommy' again.

Evari frowned and held her back. "I'm sorry, but I'm not yer mom...I'm really not." She was trying to be gentle; she didn't want to cause more of a scene than this girl already was! The girl hiccupped and stared at Evari, her lip quivering as she whimpered and threatened to cry loudly again. Evari's eyes widened and she panicked. What was she supposed to do?! Don't cry! Don't cry! The girl whined long and high-pitched.

"But you look just like herrrrrr!" She wailed, getting the attention of the people around them once again. Evari bit her lip and looked around at everyone stopping and staring at them, giving an embarrassed chuckle and quickly pulling herself out from under the little girl. She picked her up and carried her, hurrying from where they were to someplace more secluded; the hallway to the restrooms. The little girl cried the whole way and clung to Evari, pleading to her about how she just had to be her mommy she looked just like her. The girl needed to listen to reason! Evari sat her down on a bench and kneeled down so she was more her level, frowning and gently gripping the girl by the upper parts of her arms. She looked just like her mom? Geeze. What kind of mom did this girl have?

"Look, I may look like her but I can promise you I'm not your mom. Now...uh...calm down, okay? We'll find your mom. Okay?" Evari looked hopeful, watching and waiting for the little girl to calm down enough to answer her. She hiccupped and coughed a bit, nodding and sucking on her own thumb to comfort herself. Evari quirked a tiny smile and pet the girl's hair, sighing with a bit of relief. Good, she wasn't crying anymore. Now she just had to find out as much as she could about finding this girl's mom. How hard could it be? She was a kid, kids could answer simple questions! Even she could as a toddler! "So your mom looks like me...'kaaaay...um...where'd ya last see her?"

The little girl looked distraught as she tried to think of where she last saw her mommy. They went into a store...right? Did they go into a store? Is that where she lost her? She couldn't remember! She just knew Mommy was there and then suddenly she wasn't! She hiccupped again and whimpered, threatening to break into sobs again. "I..I..I DON'T KNOOOOOW!" She sobbed, clinging to the glowing girl. Evari gasped and just...froze. She didn't know what to do! Her arms awkwardly settled to hold the small girl, patting her back and looking around with a frown for some kind of help nearby. But no one was around! Ugh...what...what was she going to do!? There was only one thing they could do! If this girl didn't know where her mom was they'd just have to go back to where she found this girl. Evari gave a long heavy sigh and ruffled her own hair.

"Come on let's...go back out there and look for her, then. Okay? See if we can find her." Evari waited for some kind of answer from the little girl who whimpered and nodded, refusing to let go of her though. She sighed again and scooped her up, standing and walking out of the hall. Let's see... "Does yer mom have a name?" The girl paused, blinking at Evari and sniffling. Of course Mommy had a name!

"M-mommy." Evari blinked. Okay, maybe a bad question.

"Er..I know you call her mommy but what's her real name?"

"I-it's Mommy!" Evari grimaced. This was why she disliked children. They were unreasonable.

"But her name isn't...Mommy...there's a name that other people call her. You're the only one who calls her Mommy. What's the name other people call her?" The girl still looked confused. People called her Mommy things other than Mommy? That didn't make any sense!

"She's...m..my mommy! That's her name!" Ugh. This was going to be a long search, Evari could already tell. She started by going to the fountain where she had been sitting when the girl apparently spotted her, both girls looking around for a woman who looked like Evari. No sign of her. Not even signs of any woman at all who didn't even look like her at all being panicked! No security wandering around searching for a lost child...that seemed peculiar to her. There was one time Xai had forgotten her somewhere, she watched from where she was as Xai ran frantically around outside the door and asked every person she saw at the time if they'd seen her...Evari probably shouldn't have just sat there and watched. But hey, hindsight was 20/20, right? They continued to wander, eventually checking nearby shops for sign of a woman who looked similar to her. It took an hour but they finally found one, the woman seemed to mistaken Evari as the girl's mother at first and asked her if she was coming back for a dress she had said she'd need to think about, and Evari quickly corrected her. It was a step in the right direction...maybe? She wasn't sure, but it was the only lead she had. The girl blinked and pointed Evari in the general direction she had left in, mentioning something about being surprised she'd never seen this little girl with her in the store.

...Well that was odd. Why was this woman dress shopping without her daughter? Maybe she had come on another day...that had to be it. They were headed to another clothing store when there came a voice Evari didn't recognize, but one that had the little girl crying for joy and squirming in Evari's hold to peek around her toward the source. "Ashley?" The little girl, Ashley apparently, squirmed out of Evari's grasp and ran over to her mommy. Evari blinked and stared at the woman, and sure enough she did look...kind of similar, yet not at all like her. She was shorter, her hair was darker blue and much longer, she didn't even have bangs like Evari and her skin didn't even glow. Guess you couldn't blame the kid though, she probably saw blue hair and instantly assumed 'mommy'. Ashley cried as she threw her arms around her mother, sobbing into her thigh. The woman blinked, not even dropping her bags.

"Mommy I w-w-w-was sss-so scaaaaaaared!" She sobbed. The woman grimaced, and Evari's brow furrowed with concern. That was an odd way to react to one's own child crying...the woman sighed and finally put her bags down as if it was some kind of hassle, kneeling down closer to the girl.

"Stop that, you're making a scene. That's what you get for wandering off anyway." It didn't help the girl's tears, in fact they intensified. Evari winced, fidgeting awkwardly and hugging herself a little. What the hell? Mothers weren't supposed to behave that way or speak to their children like that, it was just cruel... "What have I told you about making a fuss in public like this?" She said with a groan, rubbing her temples. Seriously. What the hell was with this woman? Evari walked up to the pair and put her hands on her hips, staring down at the awful mother with disapproval in her eyes.

"Hey lady, shouldn't you be a little more appreciative that you have your daughter back safe and unharmed?" She said firmly and got the woman's attention easily. The mother blinked and looked up at the teenager, raising a brow and tilting her head a little. The ********? Who did this girl think she was?

"Uhhh, duh? But it's hard to be thankful when she's crying and screaming like this. I'd rather have had her back not crying, thanks." She said in a very snappish tone, rolling her eyes like this was such a hassle and standing up, picking up her bags. "Come on, Ashley. We're going home." She turned and walked away, not even checking to see if Ashley had gotten up to follow her...which she hadn't. She was too busy crying. Evari frowned, following the woman and grabbing her arm to turn her back around.

"Hey! What the hell? You're her mother!" The woman growled and tugged at her arm.

"I know!" She answered as if this glowing girl was stupid.

"Then what the hell are you doing treating her like she's some kind of burden? She's your child! You should be taking care of her and raising her to be a good girl! Do you have any idea how terrified she was when she couldn't find you? How lucky she is she found someone like me and not some kidnapping child molester?!" Evari's voice wasn't raised but it was clear she was unhappy, glaring darkly at the woman. Her grip on her arm didn't let up, and she didn't care that people were staring this time. This woman needed to be put in her place...clearly she didn't want to grow up, but she needed to; she couldn't just act like some dumbass teenager who misplaced a toy and didn't even appreciate it when they got it back. This was a child. A little girl. This woman's daughter. A girl she should cherish and love with all her heart, not something she could just toss away and neglect. Did she even care?! The woman stared incredulously at the glowing teen, as if what she was saying was just the dumbest thing she had ever heard and nothing like that could possibly happen to the whimpering girl at their feet. "Do you have any idea how precious a child is? Especially your own?! You can't do that! You can't...see your child is missing and go dress shopping, get your hair done and get a bite to eat! You ******** look for her! You show you give a damn! You grow up!" The last part made the woman mad and she tore her arm from Evari's tight grip.

"Who the ******** do you think you are telling me how to be a parent?!"

"Someone who doesn't even like kids and already does a hell of a better job at taking care of them than you do. She's not some kind of pet you can just get bored of and toss aside and pick up again when you feel like giving it attention!" Evari snapped, not at all intimidated by this dumbass. How could someone be so stupid!? Evari clenched her fists, her glow flaring for a moment. "You're her protector! Her guardian! Her mother! You're the world to her, and she should be the world to you! Do you have any idea how blessed you are to have a girl as cute and sweet as yours? But who doesn't even know your name?" Evari only called her own mother by her name! And Tyyne most certainly knew Xai's name, she just called her momma. Xai was an alien, she had no idea what she was doing but at least she tried. She gave an effort. She had no idea what she was doing but she tried her damn hardest! She put her heart into raising her and Tyyne...and she did a good job for what she was capable of, given her inexperience. What she messed up she did her best to correct. Sure, Xai wasn't perfect but...ugh...just...what the hell!?

"Do you have a kid?"

"No--"

"Then come back to me when you do. See how you like chaining yourself down for some snot-nosed brat who does nothing but cry and ask for stuff. A needy little selfish brat who tries to make you miss out on doing fun things like going on dates and going to parties and having a good drink every once in awhile. You do that for a couple years and see how you like it. Then come back and lecture me on how I raise my goddamn daughter." Evari stared at the woman with wide eyes, completely taken aback by her words. Did she not realize how stupid she sounded?! How selfish she was? How...how...childish?! She couldn't come up with enough words in her vocabulary to retort, she was just struck speechless by the sheer bullshit this woman was sprouting. The woman took this as a sign that she had won, looking down at Ashley. "We're going home, Ashley." The girl looked at Evari and then at her mommy, sniffling and clumsily getting to her feet.

"Th-thank you, nice lady.." The mumbled quietly, following quietly after her neglectful mother. Evari just watched them leave, her jaw dropped and her eyes wide. What...just happened...?

MAKING A DECISION

Evari sat on her bed, leaning against the headboard and hugging her knees close against her chest with her chin resting against them and her eyes focused intently on her cell phone. She was going through her numbers again. Man, she'd been busy these past few months, huh? She couldn't figure out why she was so crazy now that she thought back to it; sex felt awesome, but was it worth the shame she felt day after day? It wasn't that she felt this way every day just...was it worth it? At all? She continued to scroll through, counting them. One...four...ten...twelve...eighteen. Eighteen girls. She had the numbers of eighteen girls from May to now, all girls she had slept with. The teen was quiet, just staring at the numbers as she scrolled through one by one, though she stopped when she came across one number in particular.

Faris~! <3

She smiled a little, her glow flaring. Her name had always looked like that in her phone, ever since she got it and was given a number to put into it. And it'd always stay that way. She scrolled down a bit more until another name made her stop dead, her hand shaking.

Kay

Kay...where was Kay? He'd been gone so long already, where had he gone to? He still wasn't answering his damn phone! Why wasn't he answering? Was he okay? Was he in trouble? She bit down on her lip and frowned deeply, continuing on through the list. Girl, girl, twins..heh, she remembered the twins! Girl...girl...girl...Roxy...girl, Victoria...so many girls, and yet she only wanted Faris now. She was growing increasingly disinterested in hooking up with anyone, which was actually a step in the right direction, right? It was what she wanted; it was also what Faris wanted. Evari smiled, finding her way back up to Faris' number. She wanted her and only her, she had ever since that kiss and her little confession...hell...now that she thought about it she'd only wanted Faris from the beginning, huh? Jasmine had black hair, Rebecca had green eyes, hell Roxy had green eyes, Tori had one green eye...and she also knew Faris...as did Kay, so they were both associated with her Faris in some way; the twins had both had black hair, Alice had green eyes, there had been one girl with black hair and green eyes...they all reminded her of Faris in some tiny, seemingly insignificant way. Was it an obsession? If it was it had definitely been a subconscious one that she didn't even notice until she stopped to think about it now. Evari chuckled quietly to herself, combing her fingers through her hair. Wow...she was really hooked on that girl, huh?

So then why did she get so wrapped up in hooking up with any pretty girl she saw? Despite not wanting to do it anymore she still found herself wanting to look at them, she still found herself sitting here and going through these numbers wondering if she should call any of them for one last lay before she committed herself to Faris. Could she? Should she? She didn't know...this was hard! Would she have these thoughts even when she did finally go to Faris about this? These numbers...they were still in her phone, but why? Why couldn't she bring herself to delete them? It wasn't hard! Evari picked the first number she came across, Jasmine's, and brought up the options menu, holding her finger over the 'delete contact' key. Her finger hovered there for a good three minutes, her heart racing as she bit her lip. Why...why couldn't she...? She tried another number; Alice. The same thing happened. Maybe this girl? How about this one? That one? No! She...she couldn't bring herself to delete them! She was just too paranoid of 'But what if I want them?' 'What if something bad happens and I need them?' However, more important thoughts popped up after that. What if she did call them? Then what? No doubt they would know how to get her into bed; they knew her weaknesses...most of them anyway. But if she slept with them that would hurt Faris, and hurting Faris hurt Evari; she wouldn't be able to lie to her or hide it from her, she just couldn't bring herself to do anything like that, and doing that would just break her she knew it! She couldn't do that to Faris. She couldn't risk it. But damnit! Why couldn't she delete these girls from her phone!?

Maybe if...Faris did it? Evari paused a moment and just stared at her phone, blinking a bit. Could she ask Faris to delete them? Surely Faris would be able to do it with no hesitations, and she might even enjoy it! Right? Who wouldn't enjoy deleting the number of all the girls their girlfriend had hooked up with? Wait..girlfriend? Evari's heart fluttered pleasantly and her glow brightened, covering a bright pink blush that rose to her cheeks. Would she be Faris' girlfriend? Really? A-and Faris would be her girlfriend? That sounded amazing. She wanted to hear Faris say that though, she wanted to know for sure that was what they were agreeing on and it wasn't Evari just getting her hopes up and misunderstanding what Faris had been implying with her words. Evari giggled happily and nodded to herself. She'd do it! She'd call Faris right now and find out when they could hang out again! And then when they did she'd let her delete every number out of Evari's phone that had a symbol beside the name. She went through and did that first, giving all her hookups a little asterisk beside their names. All of them. She didn't skip any. She meant all of them and she'd do all of them. None of them were saved anywhere else, only in her phone. No funny business, she was being honest and she was finally deciding it was time to grow up and move on. Finally she called Faris, biting her lip excitedly as the phone rang once...twice...three times...and then finally someone answered. The voice brought a huge smile to her face. "Hi Rissy~!" She chirped, a big stupid grin on her face after getting the reply that she received from the gargoyle; Evari was very glad no one was here to see her. "I missed you tooooo~. Ehhh, not much. The...er...no, wait. Not the usual, actually. S'been...strange, lately. Lotsa weird things. But anyway! Ummm...Iiiiii want to see you! Are you free soon?" Evari was still grinning, unable to stop even if she wanted to. "That's great! Ohoh! You should come here to my house for once! Since I'm always going to yours. It's only faaaaair~." She stuck out her tongue even though Faris couldn't see it, making a tiny kissing noise after and smiling. "Okaaaaay, I'll see you then~." She hung up after that, squealing with delight and bouncing a bit on her bed. Suddenly she realized something, scrambling to the edge of her bed and looking around. s**t! Her room was a mess! She...she needed to clean! No way in hell was Evari going to let Faris see her room looking like a sty; with Kay she didn't care, but with Faris she did for some reason.

And so Evari happily set about to cleaning her room, singing to herself as she did. This was going to be so awesome!
