Mephlius approached Tokeru, but didn't bother with taking a seat. "Nice mask." He smiled. "Amnity should be here shortly, and then I think we can start. Unless you're waiting for anyone to arrive."

"If I can kill the moment, sir, It's damned good to hear your voice again. Last time I saw you, you were unconscious." He smiled. "But no, Am's just the first person I could contact before I got the message that you were already here. I would have brought Jacob too, but I couldn't contact him. And Kuro..." He sighed. "I still don't think he should be on this mission. He's too emotionally attached."

Tokeru smiled at Mephlius. "That was a rather, disturbing moment for me. I suppose it was disturbing for others as well. I still haven't thanked both of you for what you've done."

He said the last part as Amnity was walking through the door. "So on my behalf and the behalf of my love, thank you for helping me."

He stood up and walked to the pool table. "Mephlius, do you play?"

"Normally, I'd throw in some cliche like 'Just doing our job', but... I think I'll just stay with 'You're Welcome, Tokeru'." He grinned. "Billiards? I know how to play, but I'm not the best at it. My aunt and uncle had a table, but I never had one after that." He shrugged. He turned to Twi as he entered. "Hey, Twi."

Tokeru nodded towards Twi, and grabbed a few billiard balls.

"Well, then you'll understand this."

He grabbed the cue ball and placed it on the table.

"Kuro is this ball." he grabbed another two and placed them on the table, one of them is the 8 ball.

"The 8 ball is Alasdair, and the other one is Raevyn. Now, in pool, you use the cue ball, to knock out the other two, but in order to get the 8 ball, we need to sink all others. Raevyn is a ball we need to sink before we can get Alasdair."

He rolled all the balls into the pockets.

"Enough metaphors. Kuro is not a friend from now on. He can't know about this or it will all fail. He is going to be needed to fulfill this plan, and it will fail if he kn ows about it."

((Guess the other two are gone.))


Tokeru smiled and pushed himself up so he was sitting on the pool table. "No, you can associate with him, but you won't have much time, if you have any at all."

He grinned as he looked at his watch. "Right about now, Kuro should be getting captured by Alasdair. His communicator will not be cut off, and I want all of you to be angry over the HIN, angry with the leadership after his capture. Pretend that we are breaking apart and that Alasdair has nothing to fear from us. That is when we will strike."

He looked at Mephlius and smiled. "He's going to brainwash them, turn them against us so we can't do anything. But he doesn't know that we can reverse it, with less effort than it took to change them. Kuro and Raevyn will be released, eventually, and we will return them to normal, and capture Alasdair."

Tokeru had stood up the moment he saw Mephlius' hand moving and sighed.

"Don't worry about it, it's a piece of crap anyway, the balls don't roll smoothly enough. I can see that pretending to be angry won't be that hard for you. You said you trusted me, now is the time for that trust to show itself. Kuro will be saved, as will Raevyn. Nothing Alasdair does will evade my plan. I have calculated every possibility, every single one, no matter how minor has been calculated and accounted for, he has no escape. Even the possibilities that you all fail and get captured has been accounted for. No matter what, it will work out. Believe."

Tokeru smilled and clapped his hand on Mephlius' shoulder. "Wonderful. Now, in a day, I will announce Kuro's capture over the HIN. That is when you three will act."
