"Mmm. Yes. It causes somewhat of a paralysis of our...vampire side, and makes us somewhat human in our strength, speed, other senses we may possess. And all this is with the watered down version if the dart. There is another version we don't see as much anymore...but that causes the vampires to go into some state of shock so they can hardly function at all...
There have been disappearances as well as this weakening, then they are killed. Deathdealers have been hunting in packs now to try and find sources for this outrage...."

*Rogue took a long drag on her cigarette and walked to the window moving the curtain aside and looked down at the street.*
"We're kinda working on that you could say....but in a matter of short words, we are...clueless."
*She turned and looked at Rikku.*
"A lot of the attacks are now happening in the day...vampires getting knocked off as they sleep. Several of the smaller covens in New York have been destroyed."
*She looked away. Rogue's fist clenched and she had a quick image of herself busting through the wall beside her, but she restrained.*

Nodding, she put her manuscripts aside and slipped off her coffin, landing on her feet gracefully. She was a very short person in comparison to some of the younger vampires. Placing a hand on her shoulder, she watched her, knowing she wasn't that much of a comfort though she'd try.
"Something will come up.."

*Rogue shut her eyes for a moment.*
"So many have died throughout the city...good vampires...a lot of deathdealers, young and old..
It is an outside source, well trained, and well guarded. We just wait for the b*****d to slip up I suppose.."
*She took a drag on her cigarette, and turned looking Rikku squarely in the eyes...Her green eyes flickered as she looked into Rikku's deep blue.*
"I don't know what else to do.."

"You should get out some...I know you've not been out much in awhile, maybe some fresh air would be good. A good hunt perhaps."
*She turned enough to give a small smirk to Rikku at the door, then walked out.*

Smirking very slightly, she nodded before her eyes drifted to the unconscious mortal on the floor. Closing the door, she turned back to the body and grinned.

Alexz pushed open the coffin lid quickly. Something was wrong. Her senses were going wild, what was it? She closed her eyes, pinpointing where all the energy was coming from.
"Rogue..." she whispered before disappearing in a flash of light.

Cyrus steps in only after knocking three sharp times on the heavy wooden door.
He steps in and finds Rikku.
He walks over and bows deeply to her.
"Mistress. I bring distressing news."
"I come bearing the bad news that around 6 of our death dealers were murdered by 1 lycan within a minute."
"they say that the lycan calls himself Jaden the Wolf."

Many days had passed to the joint of Knux, however he had made few friends that he would of likes, especially the elder's. Maybe this would be one of those times in which waiting for an elder to leave their quarters and have a long, hard chat would increase his reputation about the vampire race.
Knux stood in the middle of all the room's, his eye's scanning over each and every door carefully, estimating already what would be behind the blockade of the door, wondering what kind of Vampires they were, expecting a rather curious scene and feel to there room's.
However, standing prone, his body leaned backward up against the sterdy brick-layered wall behind him, his right leg slid up the wall to about the height of his knee on his left leg, making a small curve in his knee, pushing outward, maybe getting in the way of large objects that would be pushed or carried down the hallway. Very stubborn Knux was, not caring about anyone apart from his own life, taking care of himself and himself only.
Knux stood isolated in his own shadows, his gleaming blood red iris creating laser like beams from the pupil, sent directly in place to where the line of his sight viewed. His entire body shrouded by the darkness around, only few beams of light coming in contact with his body. Silent and isolated, he awaited.

*Rogue opened the door. She had already finished half the flask she carried in her right arm. Damn Mauser. Damn HIM.
She finished the flask quickly and threw the glass against the wall. The noise was piercing as the shattering of glass can be. She welcomed the noise. She couldn't evade the bullets. What was it worth if she couldn't even evade a bullet, let alone two?
She ripped up her top that was still full of her blood that had spilled everywhere. The spot on her stomach that had been hit was still very raw as well as her leg. She took her pants off then and went into the shower.

*Kaei dried off her hair a bit with a towel, then checked the slowly closing hole in her stomach and the one in her leg.
They did not bleed much at all. But still.
She threw on some clothes and walked back downstairs into the main room.
