"Huh. Wasn't aware of that." he commented before shaking his head a bit. "Anyway, shall we sit? Last I had alfredo, it got a little hard to eat when cold."

Tal nodded and sat, beginning in on his food. He ate daintily and carefully, just like everything else he did.

Riot did the same, his eating not quite dainty but as close to it as the neko really came. He didn't like messes, particularly with food - a bit of a long standing issue of his. Food tended to muss all sorts of things and when one had spent time preparing it and had plenty of things that they didn't want mussed, they tried to take a bit of care with the food.

After a while of silence, Tal spoke again.
"How old is he? Wincott, I mean."

"5000." the neko replied, taking another bite of his food. He highly doubted any elf would have a problem comprehending someone being of that age. Talhevar was probably quite a bit older than that.

"Fifteen thousand." Riot intoned calmly. He had a good ten thousand years on his brother but that didn't make much of a difference. Particularly when in the company of others, Wincott seemed the one more adjusted to people, easier to get along with. "And yourself, if you don't mind me asking?"

Tal smirked slowly.
"Oh, I've lost count by now. I was born 3000 years before evolved humans began to appear here."
...wow.

"Not surprising. My father used to tell me that elves have been around a pretty damn long time. He says even before his ancestors, there were elves." the neko said with a nod.

"We...aren't from Earth or Gaia. Not really. My family went West, but I decided to stay and watch the world age."

"I have no idea where my kind came from, nor do I really care to know. I like the world I am in now and would like to stay and see it through. This is where I was born and this is where I am at home."

"I have learned to make anywhere I am into my home," Tal nodded, "If I didn't, I would undoubtedly get homesick." Which he usually did anyway.

"I don't think there's any cure for that. If there were, I probably wouldn't feel the need to go back to Ireland for a family get together at least twice a year. We can't seem to stand each other when we're together anyway."

"That does make it hard to go there, I will give you that." Riot agreed, finishing up his food after he spoke. "So, besides making very lovely tea sets, is there anything else you are exceptionally fond of?"
