A small gust of wind blew through the room, as Asuma reappeared in the Holding Cell Room. "I'm back...from...playing...with the intruders..." Looking over to Lemo, Asuma walked over to where he sat at the screen(if you still are), Asuma loooked at the screen, to the dots showing where the intruders were. "There is...a problem, Lemo. One of the captains...Ryan...I saw his....bankai. It's quite powerful...even though he didn't...use all he could. It could be...troublesome, later." Turning back around, Asuma walked over to where the prisoners were being kept. Like he had been before, Asuma showed no signs of being even hit from any attacks that the intruders had thrown at him. "They were...boring, the intruders. Barely even...got me interested..."
Walking down the aisle of prisoners, Asuma saw a few he recognized. There was Eme, the sister of the Vizard Feiy. Just thinking about her pissed him off. Ignoring his anger for the moment, Asuma looked at the other prisoners. From the chatter earlier, he noticed that the girl Eme was with was not only Blind, but seemed to be struggling with something. Looking closely at her, Asuma focused on the area around her, rather than Kurai herself. Her reiatsu-although it was still being suppressed-was moving irratically, in a way that Asuma only guessed that something was wrong either with her, or with her mind. The mind, after all, was what controlled the reiatsu, in essence. Turning to Lemo, Asuma looked at Kurai for a second before facing the Espada. "This girl...seems that something's...wrong. The reiatsu around her...is acting up. Keep an eye on her...would you? She might show something...later on."
Turning away from Eme and Kurai, Asuma's eyes scanned the other cells, as he saw Razil, a member of his student's, Mock, squad. Well, since Mock was here, he was probably there to save his squad member. Oh, well. He would be disappointed, when he found out that what he was trying to do would be futile. Grinning under his mask, Asuma looked around the room once more, before turning his back to them. After all, he had no idea who the rest were. "The rest...are normal. Mind if I...change that?" Chuckling under his mask, the sound that came out of it sounded like some dog growling, or hacking something out of it's throat. It was more a mix of the two. "After being...disappointed...by not fighting the captain...I need to do...something...to take my mind off it."

Kurai shrank away from the Asuma, only partially aware of the commotions being raised around her. She felt as though she was only half there. On some level, she could hear people speaking--more than one to her. There was shouting, too, but she couldn't discern the cause. On quite another, she was starkly aware of her own fading consciousness. Her humanity--what made her Kuraime Shihouin instead of an animal-- was giving way to basic instinct.
She began to fear, not for the first time, that she might hurt her cellmate. The teal aura was wavering, shrinking into itself. It was a fear not unlike what Kurai herself displayed, yet the other girl was clearly in greater control of her emotions.
Kurai pressed herself against the icy wall, folding her knees to her chest and locking her arms around them. She meant to put distance between herself and the teal aura, the better to keep her safe from whatever was coming.

Ezru appeared in a soft light as opposed to Asuma's wind "Asuma, please, don't tease the prisoners... They still have emotions... They never went through our hell." Ezru said calmly as he walked over to Aine and kissed her "And Kurai is under my protection Asuma... She is family, and family is everything to me..." Ezru said as he left Aine's side again to look at his aunt. "Kurai, I am not going to let you be hurt..." Ezru said, his reiatsu strong and warm. "I'm the son of your friend and brother-in-law, Kazi... I cannot promise much to you, but I can promise that I will make sure that you are looked after... I will do that personally, with medicine if I can." Ezru now whispered this, knowing of her keener hearing then anyone in the room "Know I don't need to promise anything, this should give you some level of reassurance..."

Walking forward, Asuma walked past Erzu, not turning to face him. "Now...when did I say...that I would do anything to her? I just said...that I wanted to do it...to one of them. You start...by toying with...their minds. and then...work from there." Stopping, Asuma looked up, as his blood red eyes stared at the ceiling. Under his mask, Asuma was scowling, after contemplating what Erzu had said. "Family...I don't know the word..." Looking back down, Asuma's gaze lingered near the ground, as he had a hurt look on his face. Trying to hide his emotions, Asuma shook his head. "I have...to go..." Quickly walking from the room, Asuma disappeared, going somewhere to try and work off what was troubling him.

"Ezru, come here please." Lemo said.. He was now back over at his desk, examining the knife Razil tried to pass to Kuraime.
"I wish to ask you a question, or two..."

"Hey, Lemo, do you mind if I use your computer for a bit." Kevin asked, he had a few things to do anyways, and show Lemo something Kevin had made during his days in the sereitai.

"Go ahead Kevin, now Ezru, this Kurai, what relation is she to you, exactly? And tell me now if there is anything I need to know about her, please." Lemo narrowed his eyes at the shinigami.
"You see, her readouts are a bit unusual, and I'm not sure, but she has not been consious the whole time.. She does not seem, in control."
Lemo eyed the caged woman suspiciously, then returned his gaze to Ezru, whom he was expecting an explanation from...

"Kuraime 'Kurai' Shihouin." Ezru started "She is my Aunt... My father married the next in line and the head of the Shihouin Clan, Yomiko Shihouin. Kurai is her little sister. Her blindness effects how she fights because she can 'see' reiatsu. This ability also allows her to feel the emotions of people around her." Ezru continued "If it would make it easier, I will take her off your hands. I wish to experiment with my latest manifestation of power... It seems to effect people by cutting off every sense, and I wish to see if it does the same to her... And Aine has expressed interist in having someone female with her... And she is family. Family takes care of Family." Ezru paused as he thought for a second "She is doing poorly because of childhood trauma. She was kept in the Maggot's Nest until maybe 5 years ago, after which she underwent therapy with my father. That is what I believe the cause of the problem is... The entire prison system. She was stored in Arctic Block 5-B. The cold, it inhibited her power so they didn't need to keep an eye on her." Ezru finished with a few more words "I think that she will be in more fit shape if she were able to move at least... I ask that you give me some time with her to see if I can correct the problem. If not, I will return her in no worse condition then before."
Ezru thought for a moment "From there you could continue to conduct experiments, or Hawk-han could, from our quarters. Also, think of it as this; if you were to release her to me, I would be forever in your debt... And I always pay back my debts." Ezru said looking at Lemos in the eyes

Lemo squinted his eye at Ezru. Apperantly this idea was not to his liking.
"I will say this as plainly as I can shinigami, I am not too pleased at how anxious you are for me to turn her over to your care." Lemo told him.
"Hawk is the one who decides what happens as far as the experiments go, and even though I am in chargge of their rooming, I am not allowing them out of the Maniak Wing period. Let alone to leve my quarters unattended, no Ezru, you shall not be taking her anywhere."
Now that Lemo was finished with that, he walked around his personal desk to one of the machines in the middle of the room, and began turning each of them on, and uploading the prisoners' files individually. There was a display on each screen, that showed each captives skills, name, zanpakuto, element, squad, rank and other information. Lemo had made full compilations of the information he has gathered, and now had entire profiles set-up for each individual.
"On top of all this, I think that she might be the first that I suggest to Hawk we experminet on..." Lemo finished saying this, and then walked back over by her cage, keeping a close eye on Hikari while he did this.

"You misunderstand..." Ezru said calmly "I do not wish to have her on my hands... She is useless except for the fact that she is useful in caring for Aine... I do not wish to deliver the children... I've done animals before, and we are more complex then they..." Ezru said "If you do not wish to release her to me, I request that you give me her once experiments are done." Ezru said calmly looking at Kurai "I believe that she will be useful even then." Ezru walked over to Aine, and led her over to Kurai "Kurai, you will be with me... We need you to help raise the children... And Kazi will watch over you as long as you stay strong. Do you understand me?" Ezru said to Kurai as he looked at Lemos "Fine... But don't hurt too much... Save those experiments for someone stronger..."

Lemo did not like where this was going... He watched as the shinigami fawned over the prisoner. Lemo knew not of the quarrels that involved family affairs and the like anymore, and he barely even remembered love. That was something that Lemo was barely still familiar with, but it did not apply here anyways. Still, he looked curiously at Kuraime, and wondered what her story was exactly.
He knew that he was not going to really allow them to take her with them. And what troubled Lemo more, was that if she was resistant, would Ezru hesitate to kill the shinigami? Because if he were to face the soul society like he has chosen, they would not make the same mistake as so. Lemo then walked around Ezru, and past everyont to the various screens on the other side of the room. He began matching up the various pieces data with his helmet-screen and began filing in the memories of each person he had captive there. "Typical, emotions and such..."

"Lemo, what the hell is wrong with you!? You are a cold heartless a*****e, and I swear if I can ever get at you I will mess you up espada!" Layla yelled out in fury.
She did not like the way the arrancar acted towards human life. Lemo seemed to have a deep seeting hate for shinigami, though she did not know why..
Layla was determined to figure out what was the point of all this going on, and she was hoping to figure out what Lemo had to do with these experiments besides holding the prisoners until they proceed. That, and why Ezru was there and what he planned to gain from arrancar's knowledge about shinigami furthering.

He looked to the busty shinigami woman yelling in her cell from the back. "Ah, phooey." He waved his hand through the air.
He already scanned through her file, and the woman was a squad 7 member, at least tries to seem intellectual, for the most part. She rather fancied the 12th Division Captain, as well as a seat in his squad., from what Lemo could tell. She was rather devious, and had a curious nature about her, she had a zanpakuto that if which it were released, it would prove very effective against any type of element.
"Ugh, Layla Kujiku.." he muttered to himself quietly. In the future, she could prove to be an efficient shinigami, and Lemo would himself not like the thought of having to face that woman if she got ahold of her power and attitude correctly.

"Lemos..." Ezru said as he stood up "I'm going to tell you this once; the emotions these shinigami have may cloud there judgement, it may make them weak in some senses, but there ability to fight far outstrips your own..." Ezru walked away "You might want to add t his to your files on each member in here; 'all posses great spirit and will fight to their last breath'..." Ezru said with no sarcasam in his voice "their power comes from there wills to survive and protect one another. That is all that kept me going in the desert with Aine; to protect her." Ezru walked out "Goodbye Lemos-han."
