Under a full moon [prp](Mika, Nightingale, and Midas)

[Faolchu]

"Do you still want my help?" Midas asked.
"M'kay." Faolchu said.
Looking up into Artemis's face he said "I'll follow you."

Mika’s ears picked up on Midas’ stupid question. Of course she wanted the help, but right now he would do best to stay out of her way.
She sensed something very near by… yes, that had to be Stars spirit.

Artemis stood and left the mausoleum. Lindsay would be close, he always was around this time. He seemed to be a bit north… but what was he doing?

 

[Faolchu]

Faolchu followed Artemis outside.
Thinking back to the time they messed about with Mika's weapons, they hadn't really shared much about themselves.
Faolchu decided to give it a go.
"How long have you been a guide?"
Catching the expression on Artemis's face however he frowned slightly.
"Is everything ok?"

Star looked back at Midas and shrugged. "If you want to," she said coolly.

She turned forward again, her dark eyes immediately locating a shiny spot in the forest top.

Nightingale.

The reve met her guide's eyes and smiled wolfishly. She didn't move, however, except to turn her gaze back to where Mika had gone. Star's eyes lowered, finding a shadow moving around the forest as well.

She sighed and merely shook her head.

Mika’s head jerked up, her gaze lingering in the trees.
And there she was, the same color of the night, but some how different.
She silently climbed up the tree watching the movement of Nightingale.
“You know, your guide is searching for you.” She whispered.

Artemis took Faolchu’s hand and darted into the trees.
What was Lindsay searching for now, it was very uncharacteristic that he would disappear so close to dinner.

 

[Faolchu]

Midas crossed his arms as the two closed in on the spirit.
"Always glad to help." Midas chuckled.
He turned and watched Faolchu and Artemis run off together into the trees.

Faolchu wasn't sure if everything was ok, but he kept quiet as the two of them ran through the trees.
I hope everything is ok...

 

[Teru is True]

Nightingale had followed Mika's trek as the female spirit climbed up into the treetops.

"Is she?" she whispered softly, her voice reminisce of the night winds. "It is getting a little late. Perhaps we should all go home to our guides..."

A soft chuckle fell from her lips as her dark eyes once again dropped to her guide, who was wandering away waving a hand at Midas.

"I think I heard something over this way," she said absently, almost pointedly trying to lure Midas away.

She knew that look in Nightingale's eyes. Just stay away, she thought.

mika arched her eyebrow looking at the stubborn nightingale.
"yes, that would be best. but that is not what your thinking now is it."
Her eyes flickered to midas and star.

indeed.


artemis lead faolchu quickly though the forest to find lindsay.
He was crumpled over a rock panting heavily.
this was not good at all.

[Faolchu]

Faolchu stopped a few paces behind Artemis.
"Whoa..." He muttered.

"Alright, alright..." Midas murmured.
He uncrossed his armed and followed a few paces after Star.
In the back his mind, Midas was almost expecting this to go nowhere.
Not thinking of anything in particular, he followed as Star wended her way through the trees.

Artemis' hand reached out tentatively to brush the feathers out of Lindsay's eyes.
... what had happened
all kinds of possibilities brought her mind screaming until faolchu made her crash land back to reality
... god he was just a child.

"I shouldn't have brought you here." she whispered apologetically to faolchu.
Her hands found Lindsay's shoulders and lifted.
he was upset... not hurt... or at least not in a way that was physical, what had happened to him... to make him like this?
"Lindsay?" Artemis whispered lifting his face. dried tears clung to his eyelashes. This wasn't right, warriors did not cry with
out reason.
"we have got to get him home."

 

[Faolchu]

Faolchu nodded but didn't say anything.
He walked quickly up to the spirit's other side and tried help support him.
As he did his best to support some of the spirit's weight, his mind buzzing quietly.
What happened...?

Nightingale smiled and shrugged as she started to slide down the tree carefully.

"That's the thing," she said simply. "I dont really think."



Star sighed as she walked. Circles upon circles until, at length, she and Midas found the other two guides--and the apparently wounded Lindsay.

"Is he okay, Artemis?" Star asked worriedly.

Artemis refrained from panicking as star came into view…
“I honestly have no Idea… he isn’t really talking.”

Mika sighed at what Nightingale had said… did she really need that?
“Look, I need something uncomplicated right now. Not thinking makes everything complicated.” Somehow just saying that made her feel ancient. Somehow down to her very bones she knew what she had said was true. She didn’t need complicated. She didn’t need a relationship to complicate her after life as she did in her life. Maybe this wasn’t want Nightingale wanted, maybe she truly just wanted to be friends, maybe that’s what Midas wanted as well, but this was getting annoying fast.

Nightingale shrugged nonchalantly, leaning back against the tree. "If you want me to leave," she said simply, "you can just say so." Nightingale was realizing that this girl, though pretty and unique, was fast not the type of girl for her. They came from two separate worlds, different cultures. Nightingale figured they would butt heads more often than they would enjoy each other's company. Friendship, however, she could handle.
