Sahara raised her proud head, her eyes searching and her ears pricked. She rose from Timber's side slowly, as if unthinking about her movements. There was something in the wind... Something that... She took a single step forward tentatively. Could it be...?

Shii froze as she heard the grass part under a paw and slowly turned her head to stare at the one who'd moved. Familiarity washed over her in warm waves but puzzlement parted it like rocks on the shore. "Who...?" She asked, her voice buta breath on the wind. She could remember a puppy with this wolfs coloring, but she could not put a name to her face.

Sahara turned to catch the flash of recognition that flew across the wintery female's features, and her brow leadened slightly as sh etried to place her. "Do I know you?" There was no hesitation in her voice, only the forthrightness she had been known for as a pup. She blinked once, slowly, her ears pricking to barely catch the ghost of a word she had issued. Indeed, the more she looked at her, the more she looked like someone she would have known - either in her wanderings away from her birth pack, or someone part of that pack. She could not have known. She hadn't stayed in her pack longer than was neseccary to learn how to fend for herself.

Slowly Yasashii crept forward, head low, unsure. "I remember a pup who looked like you....but that was a long time ago." She raised her head and cocked an ear, the other lowered. Slowly her black banded tail wagged. "You couldn't be the one who left....could you?" She asked, the dream like fog lifting from her eyes, showing the sharp calculativness behind the veil. "I am Yasashii, one of my late packs hunters. How fair you?"

Sahara drew her head up, ears pinned lightly backwards. She hated to be reminded of her old pack. But then she realized it was her father she had a grudge to, not the pack itself... her gaze softened. "Might I be only one?" She teased, a gentle smile playing along her muzzle. "I am doing well. But what are you doing here?"

The white wolf settled herself on the ground, hind legs folded underneath her belly, front paws crossed primly. She took a moment before she replied, "I am not sure if you remember where we were situated." She started, "But our pack is scattered to the seven winds. ...What is left of it that is." She nodded, "Yes, most of us were midnight snacks for the sea dragons." A sardonic smile played on her lips. "Fitting end for the pack that dwelled on the seaside mm?" Her eyes showed nothing but the deceving dreamy fog again.

"Don't feel bad." Sahara prompted. "It coulda happened to any pack. But I was thinkin' that my father lost his head again and blew off the rest of the pack. Guess the that's not it. Oh, I've wrongly accused my poor papa." She added sarcastically, the image of her sire flashing into her head. "But... y'know... we've got a pack right here. I don't know if Wild will..."

"He would never match our packs males when it came to sheer stubborness or unpredictabity." Shii said, of course she didn't know who she was speaking of, "No true mate would harm his family." Her tail was still slowly waving in the dirt, turning the underside of it a browinish color. She stood out like a sore thumb against the rich green foilage.

"Are you so sure?" Sahara smiled, shooting Wild a backwards glance slowly.

Blud Angel looked around the area with a frown, she had never realy been anywhere without Raver before. Now he was gone to wonder parts of the world she could not fallow. After setting alone in her little den for what seemed like weeks, even though it had only been a few days. She desided to wonder off and see if there might be anything around of interest. Along her walk she had hurd a few sounds, they where to veg to tell just yet. Slowly she made her way around to see what was now whom might be out and about.

Yasashii just smiled, her eyes closing as she did so. "You know it is true. We had to be violent to be able to survive." She lowered her head and studied a paw, the underside of it was brown, from the dirt, the pad slightly worn.

"You speak truth, Yasashii. No wolf could match the fury of those in the old pack, either." She smiled, somewhat grimly.

Blud Angel walked slowly up to where the talking was coming from, there she looked from one to the next in mild interest of them, the words they spoke ment little to her. never the less she listened to them to see if they might talk of something she knew.

Faunns wandered about the island alone, wondering where his mother was or if he even had one. He let out a small whimper and sniffed the ground, his brown-red and black tipped tail hung low his little white ears perked. Little red eyes scanned for another canid. Faunns continued to walk aimlessly around the islands. He was a lone pup and he longed for a friend. Suddenly he heard some voices, his tail suddenly began to wag furiously and he dashed away to find the souces of the voices.
"Who are you?" Faunns asked meekly as he stopped short peeking his tiny head from the bushes to see two other canids, females talking to eachother one was white and blue the other was a brown, black with orange symbols on her.

Sahara smiled, her eyes drifting to the youngster standing before them. He seemed just a little wary, and she peered gently into his startling red eyes. "I am Sahara, and this is Yasashii. Who are you, little one, and what are you doing here, all alone?"
