A smirk grew across his maw as he watched her cheeks darken slightly. He fluffed himself out mindlessly as he watched her. When he finnaly got a responce he nodded to her and flicked his tail behind him. "Thank you." He purred slightly. He was really hoping that she ment it. He shifted slightly. "I'm kinda hungry. Would you like to join me for a hunt, Artemis?" He asked standing up and shaking the dirt off of his pelt. Then looking down at her.

Artemis stood as well, and shook off before responding. "Sure, I could do for a meal." She smiled slightly up at him, shifting slightly on her feet in... some feeling.

Tic Tac smiled at her as she stood up. He flicked his tail behind him again then started to walk toward where he last smelt the heard of antolopes where. He smiled back at her and nodded. "Alright I'll lead. I'll take it up from the sky." He started to hover some beating his wings against the wind. He looked down at her then started to go a little higher and father, from her, leading the way.

Artemis followed him at a good-paced trot, keeping speed with him with attention paid to both the sky and ground, not wanting to trip while trying to follow.

Tic Tac flew just a little higher then looked down at the sky. "Coming up. I can probally get one myself, but keep on gaurd down here." He called out before falling slient as he got closer to them, not wanting them to be spooked. He narrowed his eyes and turned around quickly, so if they ran then went toward Artemis. He quickly swooped down heading for a weak one that he picked out. His claws extended out as he wrapped his paws around the body, digging his claws into the antlope and then digging his fangs into the neck, pulling his wings against his body then coming to a stop.
"Ha!" He called out with a smirk then backing away from the dead body. "Artemis! You get for pick at meat." He sat back on his haunches with a smile on his face, waiting for her to atleast start eating before he started to.

Artemis was slightly disappointed that she had not been able to help, but hid the disappointment and jogged to a stop, walking the rest of the way to him and the carcass in front of him. "That was a quick kill~" she complimented, bending down at the back half of the animal's side, biting into it. "Thank you," she said after swallowing her first bite.

Tic Tac nodded to her and laughed a bit. "Sorry. I hope you don't mind the shortness of the hunt." He chuckled slightly again then flicked his hair out of his eyes. He waited for her to lean down and start eating before moving to the otherside of the meal he started to munch down on what he had in front of him. His stomach was growling a bit but it was stopping now that he had somthing to eat, something to fill up his stomach.

Artemis shrugged, "It's fine," she said between bites. Finally, after she had finished her back hip, she sat back and started to clean the red from her maw and paws, even though she knew she'd have stairs for the next few days, probably...

Tic Tac looked up at the female for a moment and smiled at her before going back to eating. He finished off his part of the meal then pulled a clean bone away with him. Cleaning most of the blood off of his maw, chin and paws. He looked at Artemis yet again with a soft smile on his face then started to gnaw on the bone he had in front of himself.

Artemis looked up from cleaning herself and chuckled at him, "You're like a tamed hyena, gnawing away at that bone..."

Tic Tac chuckled a bit at her then gave her a goofy grin. He flicked his hair that fell over his eyes away from his face. "Ehh, bones are good. Not only hyena's like them." He chuckled before going back to quietly gnawing on the bone.

Artemis raised a brow, "Well, to me you look like a hyena," she said, turning her nose up at the bone and working quite hard not to chuckle at him.

Tic Tac chuckled again as he looked at her. "Well in that case I'm a bit fluffy and winged hyena, I've never seen one of those before." He chuckled as he gnawed a little harder on the bone, making sure taht there was no missing meat on it, he was sure he didn't but just incase, he hated to waste it.

Artemis turned away from him to hide her grin, and only turned back when she has composed herself, "Oh, fine, that's a fair enough argument," she finally worked out, working on cleaning her paws to keep herself from laughing any more.

Tic Tac looked up slightly surprised that she looked away she grinned, he caught her grin out of the corner of his eye. He shrugged it off then looked at her with a soft smile. "Thank you for joining me in this meal." He chuckled slightly then sat up so he was sitting down, looking at her. The way the sun came down really made her look beautiful. He couldn't look away.
