Rusty just smiled sweetly, looking tired.
"Th'he wath." He said, sounding just as tired. He closed his eyes, scooting forward on his chair. "I don't... I don't know, Thiloh. I don't know anything."

Rusty made a little noise and crawled on his lap. He wanted this. Needed it. So bad.

Shiloh gathered Rusty in his arms and just...held him. For the first time. He held him and rocked and kissed his cheek. Oh, Rusty, he was so sorry that you suffered.
