"Ah." There really wasn't much more to say on the subject. The lake was a nice place to be when there was nothing else to do. But Morgan couldn't help feeling Seamus had come outside looking for trouble. She glanced around their surroundings to see if anything of interest was happening now that Ascella seemed to have run off. Her gaze settled on a small gathering of picnickers a short distance away. Two girls and a boy was all she could make of their group. She stared at them openly, trying to recognize who they were.

Seamus nodded to Morgan and let his thoughts wander. He didn't have much more to say to the red head, although he was quite proud of himself for catching her out of a bloody tree and not mussing a hair of his own head. He saw Morgan's eyes land on a group of picnic enjoyers, and he sent his gaze there as well. He recognized the girl from potions, Moira. She still looked good. His appreciative gaze then landed on the male with her. Seamus frowned, he didn't like competition. Even if he wasn't completely interested. Plus, the guy looked like a piece of bacon the way he was tanned. Raising an eyebrow and Morgan he nodded in the direction of the blanket. "Hungry?" He started over.

After a moment of hesitation, Morgan followed after her fellow Slytherin. She wasn't much of a party crasher, but her curiosity had a way of getting the best of her. As they approached the trio, she recognized the Gryffindor Moira, but the other two people looked only vaguely familiar. Morgan was on good terms with Moira and didn't want Seamus to do anything stupid. "Play nice." she whispered in a meaningful tone to her housemate as they stepped up to the blanket.

Unable to help himself, Seamus let out a laugh. In a low tone he muttered back, "Don't I always?" They had reached the blanket, a soft looking red thing, probably handmade. He sniffed. His things were of higher quality and it wasn't only by choice. They were a high standing family and had to set an example. Giving the bacon a significant once over, he turned his attention to Moira. "Hey there."

Hearing the sound of two people coming their way, Joel opened one, only to see a rather ravishing red head coming his way. Not that Moira's hair wasn't ravishing in itself, but this was another red head. Immediately jumping to his feet as a respectable person should, Joel bowed slightly, assuming that it would be impolite to take her hand. "Well, More people. I am rather pleased to meet your acquaintances. I'm Joel Ryan Callēndentē, at your service." With a smile, Joel stood up straight, and moved so he was sitting on the grass off the blanket, as to leave room for the students he did not know. He could only assume that they were not Ravenclaw, considering the fact that he did not remember seeing any of them, spare Moira. Joel took a seat on the grass, and leaned back with his legs crossed in front of him, his hands grabbing the enchanted grass, the soil going just under his fingernails.

Kari had been lost in her own little world and had only recently snapped out of it as she heard an unfamiliar voice come near. She had glanced over and noticed that it was a boy, and Moira apparently knew him. As quickly as the newcomer had appeared, two more people came. This was when the young brunette grew timid, and brought her hands from behind her back and clasped them in front of her, covering her mouth somewhat. Her cheeks also flushed as they did when she always got shy. She said nothing to the new people but stepped back and took shelter by the tree they were under.

Moira rolled her eyes at Seamus' entrance. Just as soon as she'd finished, she rolled them again at Joel's reaction to Morgan. She wasn't going to take that well. Nodding tersely to Seamus, she turned her attention to Morgan. "'Lo Morgan." She wasn't sure why they were here, but things had the potential to get kind of ugly, judging by Seamus' typical actions.

Morgan glared a bit at Seamus after he spoke to her. His attention was now on Moira. Suddenly, the boy laying down hopped up and introduced himself rather theatrically. The redhead raised an eyebrow at his bow. "Charmed, I'm sure." She watched as Joel settled himself back on the ground, sneering a bit. She also noticed the younger girl retreated a few feet away. Turning her gaze back to Moria, she was able to catch the tail end of her eye roll. That made Morgan grin a bit. "Hello, Moira. My apologies if we're interrupting."

"Not at all. We were just enjoying the scenery and then Joel happened upon us, and now you all, it's a party." She watched Seamus out of the corner of her eye. Although she hadn't seen him at all yet, she was hoping Judas wouldn't pick this moment to make his entrance. Although she still thought Juicy was a cute moniker. Juicy. She giggled. Judas was a sweet kid, and didn't deserve to be tormented, least of all by this Slytherin. Moira scooted back towards Kari to make room on the blanket. She had respect for Morgan, and didn't let their house differences affect that. Not that they were close.

Seamus waited a beat, allowing Morgan the chance to sit. After deciding he had waited enough, he moved into the space Moira had cleared. Wiggling his eyebrows to Moira, he turned his attention to the smaller girl standing quietly under the tree. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure. What do they call you?" He extended his hand to take hers, inclining his head.

Kari was simply observing the others, hands placed softly on the trunk of the tree, one at about her eye level and the other hand about her chin level. She held a wonderous look in her navy eyes, as she saw how each person spoke and acted around one another. It was then that one of them spoke to her. She turned to look at the boy who did. "No. I'm K-kari. Kari Kamiya." She responded in that timid voice of hers as she reached out her hand to the boy, thinking it only polite. Her father had taught her to always be polite, no matter what.

Seamus beamed. "Stuttering, how droll. There's no need to let my looks incapacitate you." He gave the younger girl a wink as he took her hand, held it briefly, and released it. "I'm Seamus Riley."

Morgan accepted the invitation to sit, even if Seamus had taken her intended spot. "Yes, the grounds are lovely. Well kept." Were they really making such small talk? At least it wasn't about the weather. Moira was more of an ally than a friend, but time could change that. Morgan didn't believe that friendships couldn't transcend the boundaries of the houses.
Speaking of, she eyed Seamus as he put the moves on the young Gryffindor. She rolled her eyes. It seemed to be the popular thing to do when in this boys company. A small scoffing sound escaped her lips, mostly as a sign to Seamus that she was on to him.

Seamus heard the scoff behind him and rolled his eyes. Had his back not been to her, he might have given Morgan a wink, as was his custom. She got him, and that was something that made him, loathe to admit it, concerned. The only person that really got him was Jana, and this weird Romanian. He turned his concentration back to the Gryffindor. "How are you enjoying this fine day?"

Moira shifted uncomfortably, watching Seamus flirt with Kari. She was hoping he wouldn't do anything foolish, and make Kari even more wary of the Slytherins. She turned back to Joel, "This is Morgan. Have you two never met?" It wasn't hard to believe, but possible.
