"It's Flutter. My name is Flutter." she said crouching quickly down to scoop up her handbook. She tucked it into her purse, and zipped it away into the safe interior of her private things. Purse contents were numerous, and mysterious, and never to be shared with boys.
"It's nice to meet you Kain. You want to go back to the bar for a drink?" she suggested, being jostled around once more. People were annoyed with them for just standing on the dance floor that was meant for more movement than they were making.

I Am The Result Of... A pleasure, miss Flutter.
Kain added, with a smile. Looks like she had dropped something after all, seeing as she swiftly came upon the floor and up again. It was purse'd, such a cruel fate for an object. The dance floor was, indeed, no place to be standing still. So he agreed.
I'd would love a drink.
Said he, as he stepped a bit closer towards Flutter.
Lead the way.
That line had a meaning behind it. As close as Kain was, he was actually trying to keep others away from dancing over Flutter. Using his back and arms as a shield, pushing others away. Trying his best for Flutter not to notice what he was doing. Feet planted firmly on the ground. Actually seemed to be nailed there. Ain't nobody pushing her as long as he was there.
Well, at least the ones he could reach.... ...A Thousand Electric Volts.

She took him by the hand. She would face forward into the crowd, ducking left and right as a space would open up for them to squeeze through. She earned a bit of a beer shower with one sudden turn, and looked disgusted over it. She sputtered, and came out of the dance floor close to where Jack and Guy were sitting.
Both were still staring at their prospective sweeties. Guy for Kaori, and Jack for Raven. Everyone was paired up it seemed, so Flutter held out hope that she might just find a companion. She didn't want to think about all the other stuff that could come out of that, since it was a list that she'd written up in her mind over and over again much to her disappointment.
Baby steps.
"A towel please, and a couple of Fuzzy Navels." she orders, pushing her wet hair back off of her shoulders. She was still holding Kain's hand. Why? He hadn't pulled away from her, and she liked it.

I Am The Result Of... To say the least, he was rather surprised when she took ahold of his hand. A small chuckle escaped his lips once that bit of beer landed on her. She was quite clumsy. The bar section was reached, and there was the female that waved earlier. And it seemed like the man before her was her mate. And the other two looked like a couple as well. For all he knew, this could be the couple section of this place. Again, he knew nothing of this place. ...... And what was a Fuzzy Navel?
That's when he noticed it himself. She was still holding on to his hand. Impulses.... Felt rather nice. ...Impulses. Gentleman teachings bursting out....impulses... Gotta control that which was drilled into his head. Ack! To weak!
Lifting his hand, which was clasped together with Flutter's, he laid his lips down on her's. Giving it a small kiss. 'Kiss the palm of a maiden which you have met, this is a form of greeting which you must never forget. Father, you haunt me...'
A more formal way to say, a pleasure to meet you....heh heh... ...A Thousand Electric Volts.

A feline sapphire orb slipped to the corner of her eye as she took in her love's handsome features, a smug smirk on her lips but not so wide to reveal her pearly whites. His voice had been nearly lost in the noise, sipping at the glass, she taunted him still and very obviously.
His ruby orbs lingered and she finished off her glass, setting it down she turned in her chair to face both the man that charmed her and the club owner. With her eyes lingering on her lord's, she told them both over the noise, "Why not organize a tourney event? At least it brings business during the day, or have dance classes, like hip hop or break dance, why don't we really stir up a bit of hell and cater to those that may want to learn the more..." she waved a hand in the air, "traditional dances, salsa and things, you'd be catering to perhaps a different market untouched as well. What do you think? At least that way the space is still used instead of being dead during the day and is still bringing in money for you." she glanced at him and winked with that smirk still stuck on her lips and laughed as the boys conspired as to what stunt may bring more business in.

Kaiden was simply interested in the different poeple he saw here as he was sure he seen them before, but names were at a loss for him. He couldn't even remember were he saw them which made it even worse. He brushed the thought aside quickly enough as he caught motion of someone dancing among the group of poeple. Whoever it was... well they were good. Kaiden watched for a moment before watching her make her way through the crowd to the bar a good distance down from him. His eyes caught Guyy for a moment which gave him more information than a name was. He assumed the female was Kaori now.
Kaiden turned his eyes back forward before he caught the attention of Guyy or the others around him. He may not know them, but if Guyy knew them then he could easily assume that he didn't really need their attention because he was watching them. Kaiden let out a light sigh, but it was a content sigh. He didn't need to be moving around to be enjoying the atmosphere. He was far more content to just lean against the bar and watch the different poeple. This may had been because he disliked attention on himself. "It's a relaxing place. I like it." Kaiden was whispering to himself at this point, but none the less he was being truthful. He did like this place though it seemed way out of his personality to like such a place. It was interesting in some ways, and yet just seemed normal to him. Kaiden instinctivly reach up and grasped the necklace under his shirt and moved it in his hand as he watched the crowd absent mindedly.

The crowd parted for a moment, giving Guyy a view of Flutter and her companion. And just for an instant he caught sight of Kaiden too. It seemed the good atmosphere of the Den had drawn him out into the party. He raised his glass and nodded in a polite greeting sort of salute to the man.
His attention was drawn by the feline gaze of his beloved settling on him. He matched it with his own scarlet glance. She did taunt him, constantly, in ways he simply lapped up. She was a constant thrill to him, even as well as they knew one another. She could still stir his blood with a simple word, or look, or touch.
She was doing it right now.
"Dance classes?" Jack's large emeralds blinked at the tigress. His head cocked slowly to one side in the familiar pose of his mind chewing something over. "Why didn't I think of that? That's a brilliant idea. I could have Raven teach me to tango..." He trailed off as his eyes turned and studied the blond across the room. "Tsch. Horizontally?" Guyy shook his head and rested his palm on the bright red of his friend's hair, ruffling a little. Jack pouted and shooed him off, making the snake laugh. "Yes." he added, after a moment. "Maybe I could get Kaori in to teach lap dancing." He stuck his tongue out at Guyy and winked at the woman.
Guyy seemed lost in thought for a moment, a gradual smirk creeping across his lips.

Naw.. he wouldn't get her to teach lap dancing.. "I don't know about that.. break dancing, hip hop that sort of thing sure.. maybe aerobics even. But only when Raven is reasonably unavailable. And not simply because he's busy with you on a date or something." she smirked at the red head.
But that slow smirk on her love's face had her intrigued. He liked the idea... and she was about to get playful. "Perhaps I can steal Milove to the dance floor and maybe teach him a thing or two." She grinned taking up both his hands, lightly swaying her hips in beat to the music and tugging gently for him to join in.

Jack never really expected the tigress to agree to such a task. But it had seemed to shut Guyy up for a moment. He giggled cheekily at her little dig about Raven being on dates with Jack. What a glorious thought that was! He'd love to go out with the tall blond somewhere, as a real couple for a change, without a worry in the world. His mind wandered cheerfully. They could go to the movies, or to a fairground, or for a walk in the park...
Jack's gaze flickered back to Raven, a smile on his lips as his mind became quite distracted.
Guyy's own thoughts were interrupted as Kaori took his hands and threatened to have him dance with her. He resisted her gentle tugs. "Oh I'm not much of...hngh..." He could resist her playful words, but he couldn't resist the sway of her hips and mischievous grin on her full, delicious lips. He watched both for a moment as his thoughts got befuddled in an excellent way once more.
"Maybe, just for a dance..." he relented with a smirk, raising his eyes to lock with hers and allowing her to lead him away from the bar, abandoning his beer.

Oh the mountains of insecurity that made Flutter doubt, and analyze every move that was made to the point that she had almost shut herself down from every spontaneous activity that there could be had. Unless she was the one that was initiating the spontaneity, she was lost as to what it was that she was supposed to do.
It did add to the circumstance the fact that she kept to herself, and only ventured out when she was forced to. Having human parents, biological, gave her a base of comparison, but her new family were pixies, and fairy in general. Their customs were very different from what it was that Flutter new.
Kain's action made her think of the pixies. They were stuck in a time in which courtesies were the norm, and expected or given all the time. A slight of honor was a serious thing, which made Flutter a disaster in court since she didn't know all the things that everyone there took for granted.
Flutter looked down, and gave him a curtsy.
"Thank you kind sir. Shall we set our drinks aside for a twirl about the dance floor?" she suggested, then covered her mouth with surprise. She didn't say things like that. What the hell had gotten into her?
Argh!! The anxiety of the thought of being rejected made her stomach churn nervously. She looked out to the dance floor, her eyes caught by the man who was playing with his necklace. Was there going to be a fight? The only people she'd seen handle a piece of jewelry like that were the ones that stored magic or energy into the piece to be used.
She looked around the crowd gathered around her, and hoped that it wasn't an offensive spell. There were too many people here, most of them human without defenses against this sort of thing. She hoped hard that she was wrong, and just paranoid.

My Mind Has Finally... To say the least, it was rather unexpected to have a female of this day and age and....time even, give a curtsy. Hell, even say a sentence like that. A smile curved his, slightly, pale lips. How could he deny such a request?
Hopping off from his chair and taking one last chug from the...Fuzzy Naval ...or..whatever it's name was... Kain softly griped Flutter's hand and commenced a quick step towards the dance floor. Evading the people around him as if they were swinging weapons at him. That was yet another weird thing embedded into his head. 'Evasive Maneuvers' But then, he had Flutter as well. So it was like, evading while protecting a hostage. He had to, slightly, push others away to make room for Flutter to pass through freely. Even then, he practiced outside of battle. Didn't even know how to be a normal guy.
His evasiveness had led them both to a good spot on the floor. There was a good space between them and the others. Not much, but hey, least they could move. And he hoped Flutter wouldn't receive a second alcohol bath for the night.
Turning around, he got close to his female companion, in order to speak in between themselves, instead of shouting the conversation for others to entertain themselves with.
So, what do you dance, miss Flutter?
That being said, while moving his body to the beat. Not much of a dance, but hey! He was moving rhythmically. ...Snapped In Two.

Seemed like Kaori's Dig at Jack had him happily distracted from the conversation, he'd gone rather quiet.. similar to Guyy, who was reluctantly letting himself be taken away to the dance floor.
Kaori grinned letting her lips meet his as she worked her way back slipping past people with ease without watching where she was going at all, comfortable in the sea of people and finding a place for the pair of them. She nearly skipped around him trailing a finger around his shoulders to the booming beat, she caught a hand, slinking her fingers between his and twirled so that she was looking over a slightly raised shoulder at him behind her, her back pressed against him she had their intertwined hands clasped in front them. He hadn't even needed to move. She smirked, lifting her lips only millimetres before they'd actually touch his and purred.
"There are several forms of dance..." her eye flickered about the crowd letting him take in the view. "..there's dancing just for the freedom of movement." she nodded to a circle of friends, hips a sway some jumping to the beat without any skill except for a wiggle, "... and then you have couples who tend to either standout in the crowd.." ..she looked to a pair that were currently griding and then to a pair that looked as though they were square dancing. "And then.. you've got the choreographed skilled dancers that have painstakingly memorized some.. or all the moves from a dance video.." she nodded at another group, "And then you've got those over in that corner that have mastered the art of movement." she nodded once at the break dancers who had their own unique style... "And then you have those that don't need to dance at all..." she nodded at another pair where she was dancing circles around him almost and all he did was look like he was going to take her right there.
"But what is most important to remember, my love, is that dance should always make you feel free and put a smile on your lips." she leaned up and kissed him briefly, her free hand trailing over the side of his cheek and then to the beat her shoulders began to oppositely raise and lower a wiggle with a bit of spunk, the movement trailed to her midriff, her shoulders had stopped moving entirely and her hips began to move, her hand entwined with his rested upon one of those enticing, slowly swaying hips, as if she had caused a wave of movement, like a ripple effect, similar to that of water when a stone is thrown into a pond for example.
"So it's just a question now my love.. how it is you wish to move to the beat."

He let her lead him through the crowd at the end of her arms until eventually she selected a place in the crowd and trailed around him. he turned his head, watching her with a sly grin. She was in fine spirits this evening. And she was tormenting him in a very enjoyable way. She turns in front of him, pressing her back against his chest. He lowered his lips to hers in a gentle kiss. His free hand rested on her hip and he made no secret of how enjoyable the position was with a slight movement of his own hips.
He followed her gaze, arm wrapped around her still and listening as she pointed out different styles. The friends dancing just for the freedom of it were full of life, and clearly having fun. Ah but then his eyes fell on the grinding couple. "Mm." He murmured, pressing against her again with a smirk. "That looks fun, but I may get us both into a lot of trouble if I try that method. Either that or we shall end up 'borrowing' Jack's office for a while." He chuckled in her ear, his voice a low growl.
But her nod directed his attention to a perfectly choreographed group of dancers, mimicking their favourite groups. He grimaced a little. It was amazing to watch, but he did not have the knowledge required for such careful movements. Nor did he have the carefully learned skills that would allow him to dance like the break dancers. Though it was just like fighting, in a way, that was really Raven's niche and not his own. Shame really.
He laughed softly at the final couple, looking as if he might just grab her and have her there and then on the dance floor. "Well, I think I'm already doing that one..." he grinned. "If not for the fact it would cause Jack trouble, I might break some decency laws right here and now." he kissed her ear, teasing her gently. She wriggled against him and kissed him softly. "Especially if you keep doing things like that."
He took her hand and span her around to face him sharply, catching her and gazing down at her with amused scarlet eyes. In the background Raven pulled up a perfectly agreeable song for their dance. He smiled to himself. "I suppose there is only one way to find out how I shall move..." he grinned. He was a snake after all, he had the benefit of being able to match her flexibility. A rare talent in this world. He leaned forward, bending her back with perfect balance until her hair brushed the ground and his lips brushed her throat. And then he drew her back up against him in a slow curve.
From there, they would mould together in a seamless display of athleticism. And though he may not know the steps to take, he could follow her lead when she led, and lead her when she pressed against him.
"Hey hey guys! Do you think Raven would..." Jack trailed off and looked around. Where had they gone? Ah, they were on the floor. being very eyecatching. He giggled. Oh well! He turned his eye back on Raven, wondering if it would be possible for him to slip into the DJ booth unseen and hide beneath the decks. He'd find out if Raven could keep his cool and manage the crowd as well with a secret mouth around his...
...he blinked and tilted his head at Kaiden. "Hello there. Haven't I seen you at the library?" he asked. Better to get his thoughts away from such directions for now.

Kaori and Guyy danced and moved with a grace between the two of them that was not only genetic... but one that comes with the experience of being so close together so often. That little fact of information wasn't difficult to hide from the DJ as he glanced at his watch, it was almost time for his shift to be over.
And good thing he didn't know just what Jack was planning on doing to him at that moment, the party would be lost entirely. Turquoise orbs finally glanced in Jack's direction and he noted how he turned his attention away to someone else at the bar. Hn.. Jack sitting and not dancing? Wait a sec.. how long had he been sitting there and simply watching?
Oh well, he continued to bob to the tunes with a grin behind his station, continuing to play requested tracks whenever someone saw fit to put one in.

The song was just right for two lithe bodies to dance to, sometimes touching, mostly not, a seemingly relentless tease between them both. Or a promise of more. For every movement he made, she echoed it in her own unique way until it seemed as though their movements had been carefully practised and choreographed. Yet they barely ever danced together, and especially not in public. Certainly not the way they were dancing now. Lost in the movement with her in almost a ritualistic way, Guyy didn't even notice the eyes on them. He could almost forget he was at the club at all.
His fingers danced over her hips as she turned away from him for what seemed like mere breaths, and as one they seemed to time their movements flawlessly to arch their backs. Some of the eyes on them were hungry for one or the other dancer, or both. Some were inspired. And if a few more couples slipped from the dancefloor hand in hand with mischievous smirks, that could hardly be helped. Guyy was oblivious to all but his beloved and the music.
Jack's eyes had met Raven's for an instant, flashing desire temptingly. He would certainly have to try out the hiding under the decks thing when he got a chance. Though as Raven turned back to his work, emerald eyes slid back and lingered on him.
Mm. Maybe he could get him to dance a little and show off some moves when he finished his set. He loved to watch the DJ in full flow. Jack had picked up a few moves himself, he might even join in if he could keep up.
