zphal_girl87 Miakou Name pronunciation is fun. Except when people get weird things from relatively simple names. I mean, there is a "d" in my name. It's not "Brennan". I once got a prescription with the phonetic pronunciation of my name on the bottle. "Brindin". O_o God, I just kind of respond to anything that starts with a D and mangles from there. And spelling? Impossible for most. Usually anyone who hears my name first can never spell it, and anyone who sees my name first, can't pronounce it. gonk DEE-DRAH (what I actually go by) DEER-DREE DEAD-RAH DEE-DARADEER-DRAH DIED-RAH DIED-REE Ugh... and those are the common ones. Some people just slur it beyond recognition, as if that will fool me into thinking they aren't saying it wrong. rolleyes Hahahahahahahahahaa! The bolded one is close to how I would have pronounced your name. My name is Genevieve, and, somehow, an ENGLISH TEACHER mutated that into Guenivere. Do those two names even LOOK similar?

Abrien Sliver My last name is Spell and people always ask how it's spelled.... How much fail can one person have? XD
The only one of my teachers able to pronounce my last name was my 4th grade teacher... And that was only because she went to school with my dad and had a crush on him. rofl

You're a David? Aw, that's cute, but I didn't picture you as a David. What did you think I would've been named? 3nodding

What I don't get with people is how they mispronounce my last name. The last four letters are "sick" and people say it "sack"
How the hell does an "i" make an "a" sound? gonk

Aaron Vieyra, really. Bring it on, stalkers and hackers! The two A's throw off a LOT of people. They spell it Aron (it's possible), Arin (also), and Erin (maybe if I was a girl...). With my last name, since I talk deep, they replace the V with a B. So far, aside from friends and family, only 3 people have pronounced my name correctly on the first go.
