"We can go this way." She said walking over to another door that wasn't crammed full of leaving people. The door led right outside, where Rikku took a nice deep breath. "So what did you want to ask me about?" She asked politley as they walked around enjoying the evening air. "Thanks for getting me out of there." SHe said with a light laugh. "I absolutely hate it in that room."

"That is wierd I thought you would have asked me how I knew you were a weregryphon, but what ever." She said with a light laugh waiting to see her response. "Anyways, what is this mans name and why was he sent to jail?" SHe asked calmly, a bit worried.

"Sergrin... Sergrin.... well the name doesn't ring a bell." She said calmly. "And if he escaped why don't you just go find him?" She asked confused. "Was he put in jail with no proof or something?" She said thinking. "I am sorry but the name doesn't ring a bell..." She said thinking. "Was he accused of trying to assasinate me or one of the others on the council?" SHe asked confused. "and do you honestly think I would think you are a monster."

Maia turned to leave as the spirit of the lizard man left, she growled contentedly and jumped through a tree. She felt her self become visible, like a piece of colored glass that shattered in reverse. As she padded through the thick forest, she took her time to avoid the trees, aware that she wasn't in her spirit form anymore.The voices of the townspeople were faint and distant and she could barely pick up on two familiar voices. Rikku was conversing with the girl she'd recently met, about what, Maia had no clue, but she emerged from the thick foliage and began making her way towards the two in her fox form. Many people made way for her, afraid of such a large and strange looking fox, but she ignored them.
"Rikku? I apologize for my actions today," She said through telekinesis, bowing her head solomnly, "I over reacted." Her bright red fur bristled in the setting sun, her ears were wide and alert.

Maia grinned brightly, "Yes, I suppose I should..." She turned to glare at a human who glared straight back, "Though I think my reputation with the humans has gone down again." She was suddenly encased in light, like she'd swallowed a floodlight. After a few seconds of shimmering, she appeared back into her human form, brushing her tails off gently, "Though I do love to stir the pot every once and awhile with my.....hardly human ways, everyone here has human ancestry, but I am a spirit." She blinked her deep red eyes, "Thank you, Rikku." She never once called Rikku any of those formal addresses, it was to uncomfortable. If she was going to socialize with her, it would have to be as a friend, or the kitsune might not have been using her time surrounded by other beings. She winked at the high priestess, a quick and almost unnoticeable motion that was gone in a flash.

Maia scowled, wagging all eight of her tails at once, "Thanks for......uh, tails are tails, I could make it appear as if I only have one, if you'd like." She began and suddenly seven of them seemed to roll up into bright red balls of fire that hovered around her head for a second before fading. She pondered Rikku's question seriously, she knew assasins, definately. The name Sergrin didn't send off any fireworks though, "Hmmm...Nope, not that I can think of, but I've seen so many assasins before. A while back, I happened to be in the area when a human was killing another, screaming about weregryphons. I thought the fellow was bloody drunk, but I said nothing. This of course, took many years ago. But last year, there was an encounter with me and a Lizardman who tried to slice my tails off." She went through a long list of stories she had to tell about all the assasins that had tried to kill her before, her red eyes flashed an Amber hue. She was pretty sure Rikku wasn't looking for any assasins herself, but the were-girl was, Maia felt like the story might have a connection with Ruri.

Ruri blushed and looked down at the ground, another uncharacteristic thing for her to do. " Well, he was the...love of my life. I'm looking for him because I simply want to spend the rest of his time with him. He never once tried to hurt me and he never would hurt anyone else either. It's not in his nature..." She sighed and shifted her weight to the other foot. " Sergrin, just said he was wandering, those me showed up out of the blue, and were dressed in really weird armor. He wouldn't let me fight them, he just went with them and that was it. " She smiled up at Rikku and Maia and said, " On the other subject, I honestly thought you would be like everyone else I ever met, besides Sergrin, and yell at me and call me a monster. Your not, and I respect and even cherish that. "

Ruri smiled wider at the statement Maia made and said, "You have no idea how much that means to me...But still I heard that most Gryphons are treated like beasts and from personal experience, I say thats about right. I haven't even been able to find someone who can teach me to fly yet." She thought about something for a second and then decided to ask, "So does that mean it would be ok for me to walk around in Gryphon form or do I still need to wear the cloak?"
