The cheapest "pet" that I've seen is Kaya. She's about 5k.
One that I haven't seen mentioned yet (though I only looked at part of the first page) is Lucy the Cat in Enchanted Book 4th gen. There's also the LOLcat - Monorail Cat halo.
My "crazy cat lady" avatar will be done after my LOLcat and Enchanted Book 4th gen. ^^
Lucky for me, I got my KiKi and CoCo when they were cheap. ^^ My first KiKi was only about 10-15k, but I sold it when the CoCo came out because the black one looked better on my avatar... Then I bought another KiKi when they were about 60k. My CoCo was 20k, at most. I just came back to Gaia a few days ago (and already earned 60k from selling my old stuff... Yaaay) and was very happy to see all the new cat/dog/elf items XD

Maestro 26 I joined becaus I love my own pet dog 4laugh Sampson blaugh , and animals. Ever since I got my first dog Charlie when I was seven I have loved dogs, and all animals in general! I joined this guild because I know that the members of this guild love animals and their pets like me, and I wanted to be part of this awesome atmosphere! xd

OMFG GUYS. (out of the ones ive read) NO ONE HAS MENTIONED THE YETI!! OR THE DRAGONS FROM SUMMONING TOMES OR THE FROGS AND THE THING ON UR SHOULDER FROM THEM TOO lol srry but i like caps. anyway those r some i havent seen (again, from what ive read)

I have a Kaya the Cat (because I have a real cat in my real life) and a Pora Ice, which is an oh-so-cute polar bear. That one is pretty cute.
