"We could," she said, taking a few steps forward and wondering in what direction they would most easily find food, "Or did you already have a place in mind? Do you have any preferences on how big it is or where we build it?" Closing her eyes since she didn't see any really good prospects of a tree in the area around them, she spun herself in a circle a few times and stopped, holding out her arm to point in a random direction that they could go searching if they needed to.

"It doesn't matter to me just how big it is or where we pick to build. Once we start building, we can always add on if we feel we want to." He could only think of one spot that he had seen that stood out in his mind. But he couldn't remember exactly where it was. He watched her curiously as she began to spin, wondering what she was doing. When she finally stopped and pointed, he finally thought he understood. "So..we're heading that way?" He nodded. "You must be psychic or something. That's the direction I was thinking I had seen a good spot."

"Oh, good!" she said, laughing somewhat and smiling, "Maybe I am psychic?" She dropped down to all fours again, this time sniffing around for any warm scents that could mean lunch. "Are you hungry?" she asked, wondering breifly if he was against eating meat. Her ears picked out a tiny scuffling sound in the brush not too far away and immediately began to stalk it, picking her paws and tail up so as not to cause any abnormal vibrations in the brush or earth. A mouse poked its head out from under a leaf in front of her and she froze, hoping it wouldn't turn around and spot her. Her golden eyes gleamed hungrily as she waited patiently for it to let down its guard again.

Oliver watched her carefully. He didn't have time to answer before she was stalking the mouse. He didn't think a mouse would be much of a meal for even one Namrah. He didn't mind mouse meat much, but he preferred his meat cooked. He wasn't sure how good at hunting he'd be without his bow. If he had brought it with him, he could have easily hunted anything . He continued to watch silently, waiting for Brish to pounce.

She grinned as it ducked back underneath the leaf again, taking one more pawstep forward before she pounced, quickly biting the back of its neck to kill it. Trotting back to Oliver with the mouse dangling from her mouth by its tail she smiled, "Would you like a hunting lesson while we go?" She dropped the mouse at his feet and disappeared into the brush again, hoping he didn't think she was rude for leaving without waiting for an answer. A few minutes later she came back walking on her two feet with a vole, a mouse, and some wriggling fish. "I found a small stream!" she said, the concept suddenly dawning on her that it would be a good thing to have near a fort, "Hopefully your spot is around here somewhere!" Dropping the rest of her catch on the ground by him she belatedly asked, "Do you prefer cooked or raw? I've noticed a lot of the Namrah around here like things cooked..." Fire was another thing that was deadly to a Clan, but she trusted that with all the fires that had been contained before by other Namrah, Oliver would be able to keep it contained as well. "Oh, and what about that hunting lesson?" she laughed, "Or do you already know how?"

Oliver was tempted to clap for her when she successfully caught the mouse. She had made it look so easy. He was thinking about her question when she suddenly vanished again. "Hmm...alright then," he laughed as he watched her disappear. He waited for her patiently, poking once at the mouse that lay in front of him. And when she returned with an even bigger catch, he felt his mouth drop open. "Wow, you're...amazing!" he exclaimed without thinking. "Yeah, yeah. The spot is real close," he pointed to a group of giant looking trees in the distance, toward the direction Brish had gone.
"Actually, I do prefer my food cooked," he nodded as he spoke. "Are you good at making fires, or shall I start one?" He almost laugh as she got so many questions out before he could answer. "And...a hunting lesson would be very much appreciated. I am clueless when it comes to hunting with ones bare paws...and claws and teeth."

"I'm really not," she protested, unable to keep the pleasure of being complimented for her hunting skills out of her voice. Turning her head in the direction he pointed, she nodded happily, remembering that she had seen the stream meander that way. "Um... I'm a little clueless when it comes to fires," she said, trying to keep from fidgeting nervously. She didn't want to ruin his lunch by telling him how much her Clan feared fire and making him not want to make one. She beamed when he accepted her offer of a hunting lesson, "Okie!" Then she paused, "So how do you usually hunt?"

He decided to put off the fire building until he had an area cleared so nothing around would catch on fire. "Well.." he was reluctant to explain his method of hunting, but decided he had no reason to hide his most favorite past time. "I usually hunt with my bow," he answered with a nod.

"A bow?" she said, "Really?! Neko let me try her bow and arrows once, but I couldn't really aim it worth foxdung..." She detested most Twoleg things, but this one, along with the Twoleg 'music', intrigued her. She grinned, an idea popping into her mind, "If I give you hunting lessons can I use them as a trade for archery lessons?"

Olivers closed his eyes and laughed lightly. He opened them and grinned as well. "That sounds like a great idea," he agreed with a nod. "My gear is back at home right now. I'll have to get it later. For now," he picked up some branches, "Think we should start hauling this stuff to are new tree fort spot?"

"Alright," she said, joining in on his laugh and picking up one of the larger logs. She looked down at the prey she had caught, choosing one of the mice to eat as she walked and brushing dirt over the rest to hide them from other predators. "It shouldn't be too far, right?" she said, beginning to walk and keeping her eyes open for anything that might satisfy a non-raw-meat-eating Namir's stomache until they could come back and cook the rest.

Oliver shook his head slightly. "Shouldn't be too far," he said as he shifted the branches to one arm and picked up the other log and started dragging it as best he could. "Just listen for the sound of water, then we know we're getting close." He followed close behind her.

Finishing her mouse and looking at her now empty hand, she paused to pick up one end of the other log that Oliver was carrying, shrugging as if to say she needed to do something with it. Her ears twitched as the gurgle of a stream reached them, making her quicken her pace only slightly. "I think we've found it," she said excitedly.

Oliver began to move in sync with her as the sound of water reached his ears. He didn't mind her helping him carry the log he had been dragging. She was definitely better capable with this sort of thing. In some ways, he even envied her, but he wasn't going to tell her that just yet. "I think you are right," he began looking around, trying to remember exactly where he was looking for. The trees were thick, packed close together. Then they suddenly came into a clearing. A stream flowed gently in front of them. And farther on the other side, they could see a huge, sturdy looking tree.

"Is that it?" she asked, pausing to stare at the large tree. She cocked her head to the side, smiling a little as she remarked, "Salix sepulcralis, the weeping willow; perfect for tree forts." Noticing the weight of the logs on her arms, she moved forward until they could set the logs down at the base of the tree. "Would you like to make a fire and I'll go fetch the rest of the wood and the freshkill?" she asked, not really wanting to say she had no desire to learn how to light such a dangerous thing to the woodland.
