my friend gave me a copy of the toxicity cd and I listend to it just fo rhte hell of it, and I loved it. they're awesome. I own three of there cds, and the new one Hypnotize isnt as great as there others.

I love their old stuff but I am not too pleased with Mezmerize and I hated Hypnotize.
I went to one of their concerts in september and it was awesome. whee
|

i have a love-hate relantionship with system
I have every single cd ever release by system of a down, including the japanesse releases and the mixed tape sampler from when they were just getting started. System of a down does rock my world, and i apprecate that the band is getting more in touch with thair roots, bUT ******** GOD!
the newest cd is s**t!
the new cd.....its like lisoning to toddlers try to recreate the self titled.
sad i hate the direction they are going in. They should remeber what maded audiances loyal from the beginning.
the sampler (pre-john); angery and no direction, yet good.. VERY VERY GOOD
Self titled: My personal fav, had a focus, a message, and every song is memorable
Toxicity: All killer, no filler
Steal this album: was left out of toxicity for a reason, Almost all of it did nothing to further explore the genre of music system puts out
Hypno: The first to really show off the diverse background of system of a down, including diffrent tempos and musical concepts
Mes: >_< UGH like "steal this album" had a mentally unstable kid with "hypno"
ninja and davo is annoying, buggy eyed man that he is

I like them. I haven't listened to them much, just haven't been in the mood. I haven't heard Hypnotize, yet.

My mum is obsessed with SOAD; she bought a bunch of their T-shirts the other day, and my brother was so annoyed.. He also likes them, and doesn't like to feel he's being copied...
Personally... meh, I can live without 'em.

System of a Down is awesome. I like Chop Suey, Ariels, Needles, and Boom. I don't like System of a Down's B.Y.O.B.
